I went out today to put flowers on my sons grave for his birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to see the grounds in such beautiful shape! The grass trimmed so nice and for the first time in months green! No more piles of dirt piled around the edges of curbs, trees trimmed, everything has been cleaned up. Apparently new ownership listen and visit often. It was very refreshing to see such a change, actually just like years past. Thank you, it's beautiful! read more

It's Mother's Day, a deeply meaningful day for my family. My mother-in-law, and my father-in-law are all buried here people we loved dearly and honored with proper services over a decade ago. Between the plots and services, we spent somewhere between $20,000 plus to make sure they were laid to rest with dignity. But today, what I saw was disheartening. The grounds are in terrible condition. Weeds are growing everywhere, the grass is bone dry and full of stickers, and it's clear that basic maintenance like watering hasn't been done in a long time. Dead flowers were scattered across the cemetery, and trash cans were overflowing. There's no sense of care or pride taken in keeping this place up especially on a day like Mother's Day, when so many people come to remember and honor their loved ones. I left feeling more upset than comforted. Coming here is supposed to be a peaceful, respectful experience, not a frustrating one. I truly hope management sees this and understands how much this matters to the families who trusted you with their loved ones' final resting place. read more

Water has been turned off since before Thanksgiving due to a water pump issue. No notices. Front office does not return any calls left on voice mail regarding this issue. I am up there one a month to visit my parents...weeds are overgrown unable to see headstones. This new ownership sucks!!! terrible upkeep of the grounds. it's so embarrassing I can't take my friends to visit my mom and dad's grave. I do have photos.. I asked the rep what was going on she gave me this lousy excuse and said both mowers were broken.. I visit there every month. it's been now 4-41/2 months and it's worse they have a fallen tree covering graves and big dried pieces of trees lying Arian the grass is always brown. I could not find my sisters marker today. my daughter tried clearing mud from one we thought might be hers. Sadly it was, we could see a few letters in her name. we didn't have tools to clear off all the mud piled on it, so had to leave it. I will be contacting someone this week and bring tools. This place was once very lovely but last several years it's very sad to visit. So many gopher holes and dead grass, large weeds and uncared for All around. Can't find markers and some look as if they're even missing. Is anyone in charge here? Is there no owner? The original flower vases have been long gone most everywhere.... I would have did a zero star. But you have to select something, it is Mothers Day, probably one of the busiest days of the year, it was muddy. Flooded plots, my mom's head stone must have been five inches under mud and grass. So many headstone just shifting and sinking, no vases in any of the plots for my family, no garbage can near by, but yet very costly to place our loved ones here. Ugh!!! read more

This is one of the most run down cemeteries I have ever been to. It truly makes me sick when I visit it. My grandparents are here and I had such a hard time finding them today. I passed it several times while looking for it. Unfortunately most of the headstones in that area are sinking in and twisting. Additionally, there is caked on mud over a lot of them so you can't see the names - I couldn't get it off my grandparent's headstone, like it's purposely being buried. Many of the headstones were under water. It has been raining off and on for 3 days. But if the headstones hadn't been sinking in and twisting, they wouldn't be under water. If you care about your loved ones at all, do NOT lay them to rest here!!! read more

Beautiful cemetery, I am very upset I drove from 2 hours away and they closed 10 minutes early. Really big bummer for someone trying to visit someone important who passed. Might want to do something so people can still drive in and view after hours, or figure out the homeless population living across the street because that's very scary. read more

This was my first time visiting this cemetery. I came to try to find the graves of my family on my fathers side whom I knew were buried here. When I entered the main cemetery office and explained that I needed help finding the location of my family members graves. The gentleman told me to have a sit. And to get comfortable. I shortly after that, learned that they do not have any sort of record systems on a computer. Only paper files in bins. Piled on top of eachother. He appeared to be not pleased at my request. After finding in the files and determining their location, my grandma and grandpa. I asked to locate my uncle. Whose name was Bill Johnson. The man set down his paper quickly on the desk and took a deep breath looking exasperated and told me that my uncles name was just too common of a name for him to find. He said "Bill Johnson is like the name John Smith, too many people have it." I was disappointed but I allowed him to draw me a handwritten scratched out map on a piece of notebook paper on how to find my grandparents. After driving into the area and getting out of the car. I was shocked. And so deeply saddened. The grass was all dead. Pipes were busting up through the ground actually breaking many of the headstones in half or into pieces. Many of the headstones were completely covered in dried mud. Many completely covered in tree branches and debris. My oldest daughter who is 8 years old starting attempting to clean off a grave saying "mama this is sad, it's not ok." I agreed with her but explained that if we were going to clean up the headstones, we would be there for days. As it was such a catastrophic environment. We found my grandparents. Not easily as the graves are not even lined up in rows. But we immensely left quickly after. It broke my heart to see the condition of this cemetery and the lack of maintenance and obvious lack of heart they must have. read more

I have to give one star because I can not make the rating zero stars!! I would if I could. I did not choose this cemetery - my brother and his wife did, and a terrible choice it was, indeed. Terrible. Run down look, dry and dying grass., trashcans knocked over and old plants spilling out. There has been a water leak in the parking lot for at least the last couple of months. How do I know that? Because I keep having to go out there. I have been trying to get a headstone engraved. I was told that it would be done but was not. I was then told that another company was doing that, and it would be done. Two months later, and no results. Went out today, my brother's birthday ,and his headstone is still not done. Very lackadaisical attitude in the office. So glad I am being cremated elsewhere!! Stay away. You can do better. read more

I came here to visit my uncle at his 1 year of passing... This was our first time to visit this cemetery. It was quite easy to find, which is practically off the freeway. It is a clean area and not crowded with large grave stones, most are flat so it has the open feel. It really doesn't provide a water spout near the area of where my uncle rest. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars is because the woman who first helped us was amazing. Lucille. HOWEVER the "regional manager" Susan Fabanich-Tunget should be ashamed of how her establishment treats grieving families. 1. They DO NOT water the grass, they wait for the rain.. so the sign saying irrigated by well water is a lie. Susan told me that herself. 2. They throw away items off SOME graves. They throw away everything from my brothers but I see MANY graves with same things on them. 3. They told me the headstone would be there 8-12 weeks now they don't now when.. 4. They "didn't know" that the picture had to be in the same time as ordering the headstone.. that's literally their job. 5. They said I owed $270 on his headstone when I had receipts saying it was paid off. Which out of ordering the headstone an additional week because the man who helped me didn't want to get in their systems and check. I had to wait until someone came in the office who had halfway of a brain. 6. They were supposed to put new sod because the sod didn't stick because it wasn't watered.. didn't happen. His children shouldn't have to see this.. we paid ALOT of money to have him buried and to see this is wrong. read more

We buried a loved one over a month ago. Returned after 2 weeks to find the flowers still there all dried up and scattered over the grave site. No sod had been laid. Signs everywhere how they pick up flowers that are left after 3 days. That's a lie. Must have a approved cemetery vase to leave flowers. Walking to the site is next to impossible. Headstones caved in , holes every where, grass growing over some of the headstones that you discover after stepping on them. Upset so I met with manager Susan Fabanich. I expressed how disrespectful it was to leave a plot in this condition. She said to give them time... Well I guess 6 weeks is not enough time. Nothing has been done, Still a pile of dirt and no sign of it improving. A lot of graves near the back have no grass at all , just a row of markers in the dirt. Ther is a bench close to the grave but forget about sitting and paying your respects. The bushes have overgrown the area so much you can barely see the bench any more. Funny how the front of the cemetery and graves by the road are green and mowed. First appearances are definitely deceiving ! 5 family plots and no care is given to any of them. This place is appalling. My mother in law bought a cemetery plot here over 50 years ago. As she no longer lives in the area, she has been trying to sell it for years. When we were finally able to have someone go over to see the plot and what the problem might be, it became very apparent. The area is a disgrace. It is clearly being used as an access road for their maintenance crews. There isn't a blade of grass to be seen, just mud and dirt and tire tracks. Not a care is given as their equipment drives over these sacred burial grounds. They have basically ruined and disrespected this strip of about 100 plots. We contacted the cemetery and spoke with Susan. She was clearly surprised when she saw it too. It makes me wonder what kind of attention is being paid to the grounds, or anything else there for that matter. This is pure negligence. My 91 year old mother in law is extremely stressed about this situation. Susan offered no solution other than to say they would fix up the area. I am doubtful, and how will we even know? We don't live in the area. Even if they do fix it up, will it stay that way, or is the convenience of using it as an access road too attractive to resist. This is a good argument against prepaying for funeral services. This cemetery was nice 50 years ago. It has gone severely downhill and now the plot is basically worthless. Obviously we would never consider using it, and are upset that her husband's grave is there as well. I cannot emphasize enough, how upsetting this has been to our family. My family 1st buried here in 1960s. Over the years many more have been buried here. Our family goes out every December. We are appalled and disgusted at how badly the area had deteriorated. The headstones broken. The ground around the headstones uneven. The whole area was a disgrace with weeds and olives making a huge mess. You have to be very careful where you step the ground is so uneven. I intend to contact whatever agency necessary to file complaints of obvious neglect. It is unsafe and unkept. Many vases missing, gone. Shameful. We are so sad to see our loved ones final resting place so neglected. They should be made to replace all broken head stones. I took pictures but they were not clear. I will return take pictures and document for everyone to see how awful it really is. read more

Unfortunately, these past years have been horrid. There is no maintanence , no grass, trash, weeds... a week after burying her we got a call saying they buried her in the wrong hole-- that's is the word they used-- and they had to take her out and re-bury her.. so heartbreaking. In order to place a little plaque with our father's name, birth and death dates on the companion marker he had already purchased, MG wanted $549. We shopped and found that Eagle Foundry in Lehi UT would make it for $75. MG wanted more than 7 times as much money! You can reach Eagle at 801 224-6553. If I could rate this "company" NO stars, I would. My Mom made arrangements for my Grandma's ashes to be buried here. Let me add that when she made the arrangements Memory Gardens hounded her continually to pay everything in full prior to my Grandma's death, which she did. Now that my Grandma has passed we went to schedule a date for the burial. We thought a week would be sufficient to get everything in order for the service. We were shocked to find out that we had to wait because they did not have the urn available in which to place her ashes. What did they do with all of the money my Mom already gave them? Grudgingly we scheduled the burial for two weeks after her death and were told, once again, that they could not guarantee that everything would be in order. Disheartened we scheduled the burial 3 weeks out only to be told that they cannot "guarantee" that date as well. To those who have grieved the loss of a loved one and those who may be nearing that time soon, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MEMORY GARDENS. Being forced to wait 3 weeks to bury a loved one is agonizing, unprofessional and quite frankly unkind on the part of Memory Gardens who is supposed to "specialize" in funerals. You would think in a business such as this people would have more empathy & compassion on the family & friends that have been left behind. Instead, they capitalize & take advantage of families who are in the midst of mourning their loss. Memory Gardens you are a heartless group of people and I cannot believe you would force us or anyone to have to wait so long to have closure. I would never wish such treatment on my worse enemy.
