When we want ribs in a hurry we go to Memo's, they are acceptable, we do wish we could order just ribs without the coleslaw and black beans or french fries that accompany every order. We also wish that the ribs come with sweeter sauce than the original that available. Otherwise, they are a good substitute for not wanting to cook dinner. read more

Would visit again - that said I would likely not order my same meal again. The birria tacos themselves were really good but the sauce definitely didn't taste like birria sauce (and I forgot to ask if the sauce had raw onions, which it did). I ended up just enjoying the birria tacos with some sour cream and they were good that way. I also tried their flan and really enjoyed that treat. Service was friendly and very helpful. I really liked the quiet noise level and the cleanliness of the restaurant too. The lady who took my order was super rude. I was trying to tip and she kept getting mad I was hitting the button to tip. Then they tried to nickel and dime me for any thing you ask for. Food was ok- the biggest issue was the meat cooking seems to be all over the place. My daughter got a burger medium rare and it was raw (she took about three bites and called it a day) and my wife ordered a ribeye medium and it was well done and tough. Finally decided to try the place after driving by it for 5 years. Walked in and the person who greeted us was nice. Ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches. Came to $53 (with tax). Service was quick, but the food was average at best. The BBQ sauce seemed homemade. It looked like dark red pesto, but had very little flavor that tasted like BBQ sauce. Decent Mexican homestyle food available here. I grabbed chips and guacamole for an appetizer. The chips were fried freshly and were warm when served. The entree I ordered came with three grilled chicken breasts and two sides for $10. I had more than enough leftovers to get me through lunch the next day. The food was relatively plain but was good value. My rice and beans were border line bland but my chicken was well seasoned. Their soft drink serving sizes are generous and they'll give you a straw here without asking for one if you're ordering plain tap water. You get your order just as quickly as you would at a Fast Food restaurant yet the food always tastes fresh and homemade! Our waitress took our order and was nice. The fish had too much oil and were not fresh. I could tell they had been frozen and the staff fried them and dumped them right into the box. They didn't remove the excess oil from the battered fish. The brisket tacos needed more flavor. The meat wasn't brisket; it was flank steak. It wasn't tender at all. The fajitas were okay. Nice and seasoned. The rice and beans were good. The fries were excellent. They were seasoned well with seasoning salt and crispy. Wow! You wouldn't guess from the outside, that this would be such a gem. The inside is decorated nicely and everything is very clean. My family of four enjoyed everything we got -- my husband is a big fan of the cheesesteak -- he lived in Philly for awhile and says this is the best in the area. Fries were fresh and crisp.
