Been anxious to get back into the Draught House since it's post-fire re-opening. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Although the server/bartender (Paul) became quite busy, he was as attentive as possible. The food was top- notch. The shrimp tacos were a delight plenty of good-sized shrimp and the finishing sauce on top was delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich was huge (IMHO) and perfect. The backyard where they have bands is wide open with lots of seating and have an actual boat that was converted into a bar. They have a good selection of micro brews plus a lot of regular favs . A group of 8 of us came out to see The Nerds play and enjoy a nice dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and once we arrived we requested to be seated outside. To our excitement they were able to accommodate. They have multiple outdoor dining patios with two bars areas. The outside area also features corn hole and a large jenga table. The band area is perched on top of a hill and unfortunately difficult to see from the outdoor seating areas. The atmosphere is nice with a beach/tiki bar feel and it is excellent. Very relaxing. The establishment was sold and is currently under new ownership. They have taken under the name "angry dad" which I'm not sure if we can embrace it. Time will tell. Our waitress was kind and cheerful. The service was extremely slow. I do realize that a group of 8 is tough especially on a weekend but drinks took 45 minutes to come out. Once we ordered food it also took along time to come out. I ordered the Angry Dad Beer Burger. It was topped with onions & mushrooms sauteed with Angry Dad Ale, pepperjack cheese, garlic aioli burger. The burger was extremely tasty. The French fries were crispy and it hit the spot. We tried the Draught House recently on a recommendation from a friend. First and last time. The service was rough. The waitress had zero interpersonal skills to the point of rudeness. Instead of serving each of us individually, she was handing me drinks and dishes to pass to our table of eight like it was my job. She had a bad attitude las though it was a bother to serve us. With the exception of a turkey club that my mom ordered, the food was lousy. I ordered a special, pasta with short ribs. The way it was described on the menu in no way resembled what I received. I had to pick out the meat because it was so awful. Another member of our party ordered the same dish, he didn't enjoy his at all. My son ordered mac and cheese with chicken - soupy and more like an Alfredo sauce. The burgers tasted like frozen patties. Someone in our group ordered a salad that she said was ok. The pretzel and hummus apps were the best things that we ordered, and they were nothing special. The food took forever. Entrees were not brought at the same time to the table. Our bill was $270, with a 4% transaction fee tacked on if we wanted to pay with a card. It would be nice if they informed their patrons of this policy somewhere on the menu. I was happy to just finish and get out. The noise was deafening and the room was freezing cold. In my opinion, there are far better places to spend our hard-earned money. Best place in town for a burger/beer by far. I love taking my wife and friends here, the vibe is amazing especially in the summertime at the outdoor bar/seating area. Some nights it might get a little swamped and the service slows down, but that's worth putting up with for the delicious meal. I was there this past Friday 9/2 for the Amish Outlaws concert and had a good time. Local beer prices are reasonable, pizza was tasty and staff is friendly. I get to see my family once a year, last night we decided to go here for our last meal before we all go home. Started off decent. Apps were good. Server seemed friendly. But after our apps it was all down hill. Salads came out and no more then 20 seconds later our meals were out at the table. We didn't want our food right away so we asked them to hold. We were still missing a French onion soup. Took almost 15 minutes to get it. By the time we were done and ready for our meals, it was brought out, ice cold. Never kept warm. Chicken was over cooked and rock solid on one meal. Asked for a burger Cooked medium. Came out and the bun was rock solid! Barely toasted so clearly it was stale. Cut into the burger and it was barely cooked. I've been to this place before and it's why I suggested this place for our last family dinner for the year. Was embarrassed that I even recommended this for my family. Server barely cared because she was "locked" in with a 20% gratuity since we were 7. Never again. For a Tuesday and a pretty slow restaurant I expect more and better quality food. read more

No one told us they ran out of a refill for my sons drink, then they charged us $3 for water with a splash of cranberry - they put mushrooms on my other sons burger when he asked specifically for no mushrooms, thank god he wasn't allergic. Short version: fun atmosphere, good music, poor service, raw burger. Despite the food and service problems, my family and I had a fun 5 hours hanging out here! We sat outside at the big garden/patio area that has an old yacht as a bar! The visuals were very appealing with attractive plantings and lights and different raised decks, nautical ropes, sand, and a cornhole game. There was a guitar duo playing covers of popular songs and taking requests. They were great and apparently play there regularly. Food was standard, nothing particularly flavorful. One turkey burger was raw in the middle and we had to send it back but everything else was edible. Our servers were all very young women who were inexperienced and forgot our requests repeatedly. They were however polite and apologetic. They all seemed to have a good attitude so I hope management invests in training them about the specials and menu! Bathrooms clean. Lots of free parking. It was the outstanding atmosphere at the outside eating area that made the difference for me in deciding whether to leave a three star or a two star review. I probably won't come here again for dinner as the entrees didn't impress me, and the raw burger was a bad mistake, but I definitely hope to return for a fun night of drinks and music! read more

Not from the area but wanted margaritas on a nice summer day and ended up here. We had a really great experience and were happy we made the trip! We sat outside in the sand and there was plenty of shade. Cool outdoor area and looked like it would be a really fun spot at night. Margaritas were good and guacamole was one of the best we've had! Perfect balance of flavors and the chips were durable and salty. I had the southwestern salad which was great, and my husband a burger which he enjoyed. The most exciting discovery was the salt and vinegar fries- definitely get!!! We kept talking about how awesome those were. Service was slow and this place has gone downhill. New Management could care a less and are extremely unprofessional, food/menu was awful, drinks were slow to get to you and not what you ordered. There was a band playing and the speakers were scratchy so you could barely hear them plus the ticket prices have doubled. This place used to be a decent place to go to but now it's not worth the time or money. Only positive things I can say about it are that our server was very nice when she came to us and that they have a really nice security guy working for them. Otherwise this place is garbage. Went there last night on a friends recommendation for dining outdoors. Setup was nice, covered pavilion with shades to block the late afternoon sun it was a beechy setting with a stage for a band or DJ later in the evening. We were seated quickly on metal chairs that could of use some padding for the thin skinned. Service was great from the moment we walked in. Pizza as very good and the large was enough to feed 3, unless you are a teenager. Nachos were very good and not your standard toppings. The wedge salad was fresh all around and tasty. My biggest gripe was that beer and wine were served in plastic solo cupish glasses. Perhaps because we ate outdoors. Plastic utensils weren't appreciated either, but that's just me.
