I was told these vegetables have nothing but salt on them. I call BS.
    Carol L.

I asked a minimum of four times if they put any oil of any sort on any of their products. I was told absolutely not. I was told the only thing they put on their product is salt. Nothing else. I call BS. I got was eating these and it tastes like there's oil on them and it looks definitely like oil on them and the bottom of the container. Extremely irritating since I watch everything I put in my mouth and I don't want any added oils especially oils. I don't know what kind they are. They should include label ingredients on their products. The service is quite aggressive too. When we were walking by they follow you as far as they can as you walk by putting samples towards you.

Her stand with allll the amazing food!

First, Mena is the sweetest - we are so happy to support her business! We live about an hour away, and she remembers us every time. Now - all the fruits are amazing! ALL OF THEM. We usually get strawberry, pineapple & mango. But this last visit she has broccoli and beets. My husband is NOT a veggie eater - and even he said they were amazing & bought pounds of them! So so crisp, and seasoned with sea salt. Simply delicious! She also has these nuts coated in something amazing, some are sweet, some are spicy, but I didn't even get a picture because they were gone in the car ride home!

An amazing selection of dried fruits and vegetables that taste amazing! They are always very generous with samples so you will know which products you love. I always leave with more than I planned to buy because it's all so delicious!

    "Chili corn"

For 10$ you can get about 3$ worth of corn nuts from a lady who is too good at selling things. These are absolutely not worth what we paid even if you're a millionaire. The whole west side market has been ruined for a long time since they buy their products from giant eagle and resell for 500% profit. Not worth going unless you're looking for the one good deal out of probably five thousand products. Big waste of time, I'm sure it was good twenty years ago but now it's trash.

Look at those beautiful colors! Tastes even better than it looks.

Yes, the fruit was amazing, but holy cow the veggies took the cake for me. The service was outstanding, as I didn't even want to try so many, but am really glad I did. I ended up buying dried broccoli, carrots, apple rings, berries, and the show stopper was the hibiscus! They MUST start with premium quality because everything was absolutely superb. I am on a specific food plan, so was super grateful that the only added ingredient was salt! I can't wait to order more. She does ship and I will buy because this is truly the best dried veggies and fruit that I have EVER tried. By the way, it is very expensive, so I was a little surprised when I checked out, but totally worth every penny. Why not pay a little extra for what I'm putting in my body? I'm worth it. And I'm sure that it was accidental when the grumpy person got charged an extra dollar. Also, it's lasted way longer than expected because it's so filling. I just finished my bag of veggies that we got a few weeks ago!

They gave us so many free samples to try when we went to West Side market.

I've always loved big markets having grown up in the middle of many in Pennsylvania. I recently…read morevisited Cleveland and friends made sure we started a Saturday here. It was a highlight of the trip! The market is right downtown in a gorgeous old building, make sure to look at the ceilings. There are public parking areas all around outside, but it does get busy. There are also side buildings and outdoor stalls nearby, so be sure to check them out. Inside is rows upon rows of amazing local vendors with food to enjoy there, or many items to buy and take home. Meat counters, fresh vegetables and fruit, sauces, Middle Eastern food, Greek, Mexican, Gyros, sandwiches, baked goods, salads and so much more are all over. Even stalls that repeat the same types of items have their own unique spin and history. It's busy, with people everywhere looking and enjoying their purchases. Prices are reasonable, especially how fresh and local everything is. I bought a bunch of small things to eat while we walked, together we bought shishkabobs and steak to enjoy at home the following day. It's a great place to shop local!

Visiting West Side Market on day two of my trip confirmed a few things for me:…read more 1. Cleveland is seriously underrated as a city. Food and architecture are two areas where it deserves far more recognition, and this market showcases both beautifully. 2. I'm coming back. 3. There is absolutely zero chance I stay in a hotel next time. I need a place with a kitchen. When I return, I fully intend to walk through this market, buy from no fewer than 10 stalls, and somehow end up preparing enough food for 25 people--even if it's only my family of four. The specialties here are endless. The uncooked pierogies nearly broke my heart because I had no way to take them home and cook them myself. Sausage lovers will be in heaven, and beyond that, you'll find incredible produce, fresh fish, quality proteins, and a wonderful representation of the many cultures that make Cleveland what it is. All of this is housed inside a historic building with stunning architecture that makes the experience even better. Pro tip: Climb the stairs to the second floor for an incredible bird's-eye view of the entire market. It's the perfect way to appreciate just how special this Cleveland landmark really is.

They had a promotion that you can get 2 weeks for the price of 1 week and try this out. So I decided to try. Last week I got my first box. I chose the small vegetarian box. It's $29 bucks a week. So I got it for $19 bucks a week. My next box is this week. I got kale, zucchini, cucumbers, dill, blueberries, potatoes, kohlrabi, beets, peas, and an onion. Then we bought chocolate chips cookies and also a bag of english muffins. I made potato salad with the red potatoes and kohlrabi, and dill. We had breakfast sandwiches with the muffins they are big and really good! And I've made the various other veggies throughout the week. I am looking forward to this weeks box. I pick up at the Hudson stop. The lady who helped us was very nice. And they set up in a large space so you can see them and it's a good large window of time to get your stuff. Overall good experience and the veggies were fresh and good. I like that you're getting this from the source farmer. I like supporting a local farmer. Depending on your time and your means this could be a good alternative to shopping at corporate stores. Or maybe if you hate shopping for veggies. They have carnivore boxes and also vegan boxes. I chose the vegetarian because we get meat from a butcher. So this could be your shopping for the week in some cases. Check out the website and see if this is right for you.

Much has staid the same since the previous reviews... great weekly newsletter/ online store / bag process for 22 weeks in the summer... and a kind of wonky but refreshing winter subscription... summer starts in June and runs through october... winter picks right up but is only weekly to Turkey day and then changes to every other week. Shopping the online store is like having a farmer's market at your finger tips! Every week they also bring items to the stops for grab and go purchase... but if you really want milk and eggs... order online! They can sell out at the truck. This winter we tried the new Carnivore subscription... over the season smeveryone gets the same cow / pig / poultry and value add (lard, stock, deli meat, sausage, bones) but there is less flexibility... you need to go to the same stop each week. No dietary substitutions... everyone gets pork for example. The only downside to the omnivore winter subscription is the cabbage... lots and lots of cabbage... sauerkraut... more basketball size cabbages... so the carnivore is a nice change while still having access to the store and avoiding out of state protein. They post the newsletters and photos of the weekly bags online and have an epic treasure troce of recipes!
