It was a bit of a trek through rush-hour traffic from our hotel but so completely worth the trip. Discretely located through a door marked only by a red light above it we were warmly greeted by gentleman behind the hardware counter. We were prepared to answer with the password to let us in but for some reason it wasn't asked. No big deal. You are then sent through a door into the beautifully dimly-lit space of the speakeasy. There is plenty of seating, with small tables and some booths. We were shown to our table and greeted by one of the great, friendly hostesses. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar with one of the attendants. You immediately pay for your order which will then be brought to your table. Different but really a nice idea. The music was also nicely unique, with a mix of oldies from the 50's and 60's. An old black and white James Cagney movie played silently on one wall. In terms of the cocktails I have to say these are some of the most delicious and finely crafted drinks I've enjoyed. I began with the Start Your Engine, a delicious gin-based drink. My wife had an absolutely fantastic smoked Old Fashioned, smoked in a large box for a minute or two. Wow! Probably the best we've ever tasted. My second drink was another gin cocktail, the Last Word, which I'd been wanting to try for some time. A fine gin supported by green Chartreuse and lime, this was simply sublime. Highly recommended. The bar and menu is quite varied and extensive, so you're sure to find something to your liking. The space has a great vibe and mellow ambiance. Sufficiently dark, cozy and very nicely and eclectically decorated. Service was outstanding and informative. Reservations are recommended. Like many such places you are "limited" to 90-minute timeframes, which sometimes seems like not enough but ultimately works quite well. The quality of the cocktails, space and service all make for a really enjoyable time. Well worth many visits.

They make every trip there a pleasure and you can't help but leave with a smile, even if you didn't want to make a trip to get the right size screw or color of caulk. Thank you to all of them for always being so friendly and knowledgeable, for being a constant reminder of the small-town atmosphere of STMA, and for having a really wonderful selection of products in a convenient location. He directed me to exactly the location in which aisle to proceeded to. I chuckled on my way out....imagining the instance. As I looked around @ the end of the aisle, back of the store... I heard a faint dinging, buzzing... didn't think anything of it... until the same greeted me employee appeared... "you can't be back here". That was the dinging! Letting them know someone had "trespassed". In my defense... it's not like I walked in to a roped off area or closed door! To me, a customer, it just looked like another aisle! I was standing in front of this aisle of snacks & a few shovels....thinking I could use my coupon for a shovel. Once the employee appeared, I had him give me a price for the shovel, I moved on. The coupon was $10 off $20... I found two $9.99 window plastics.... as I made my way to the register mentally trying to think of what I will find to put me at or above the needed $... Thank you! One of the employees (I wish I had gotten his name!) spent a full 25 minutes with me, patiently helping me find the perfect match for the single screw I brought in. Where else do you find that kind of old-school service these days? They didn't try to upsell me, rush me, or make me feel like I was wasting their time--even though I was making a tiny purchase. The staff here clearly care about getting things right and helping customers, no matter how small the job. This place is a gem. Support local. Skip the big box stores. Rogers True Value is the real deal.

When we called the store they told us they would fix the issues right away and have someone sent out... 20 min later the same delivery guys came back and apologized saying their boss told them they had to come back and try to install the stove even though they were not qualified to install a gas range. Surprise - they couldn't figure it out. Called the store again and after talking to 5 different people for 3+ hours they promised us we were set up to have a plumber come out and install the stove a week later ... again things happen no big deal. That week passes and who shows back up?!!! The same delivery team that can't do anything!! Another 3+ hours on the phone later we find out that they don't actually send instal teams to our area and we needed to go though home depot pros. All 8 people we talked to had no idea that was the case and kept promising that they were sending an instal team... 5 more min up front and someone could have told us they don't do installs in our area. I had to jump through countless hoops to just obtain the replacement parts for the repairs. The parts finally arrived. I contacted Anderson and HD inquiring about installation. Both informed me they did not have anyone to do repairs and did not have any responsibility to repair the door. In others words, after we get your money, you are on your own if the product breaks.
