We purchased a new stove from this location and paid for install. The day the stove was delivered no one arrived to install it. When we called the store they told us they would fix the issues right away and have someone sent out... 20 min later the same delivery guys came back and apologized saying their boss told them they had to come back and try to install the stove even though they were not qualified to install a gas range. Surprise - they couldn't figure it out. Called the store again and after talking to 5 different people for 3+ hours they promised us we were set up to have a plumber come out and install the stove a week later ... again things happen no big deal. That week passes and who shows back up?!!! The same delivery team that can't do anything!! Another 3+ hours on the phone later we find out that they don't actually send instal teams to our area and we needed to go though home depot pros. All 8 people we talked to had no idea that was the case and kept promising that they were sending an instal team... 5 more min up front and someone could have told us they don't do installs in our area. The so called customer service at HD is nonexistent. I purchased an Anderson Renewal combo screen/Storm door from them that proceeded to fall apart. I had to jump through countless hoops to just obtain the replacement parts for the repairs. The parts finally arrived. I contacted Anderson and HD inquiring about installation. Both informed me they did not have anyone to do repairs and did not have any responsibility to repair the door. I will never spend over $50.00 at Home Depot again because I spent $3200.00 and they won't back me when item was faulty. Ordered in Feb and just get resolved as waiting for a new item to arrive by Truck today. Home Depot would not give me a refund and take item back after 30 days. We researched appliances and did a price comparison between stores on LG appliances- dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove. We were surprised Home Depot has a decent showroom, knowledgeable staff and a good Black Friday sales through the month of November. Unfortunately, during this pandemic they didn't have everything in stock but we were not in a hurry. We saved about $400 using Home Depot mostly on their 5-year home warranties. We were happy our sales tax amount went toward our local City of Elk River. The LG dishwasher we purchased has a dBA rating of 42 and highly rated on independent websites. read more

I would give ZERO Stars if I could. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO WITH HOME DEPOT who uses CREW2 for your carpet install. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. You will end up with carpeting that is shot and matted after a very short period of time (one year for us). Trust me, the "free install" IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!! They basically cut the carpet and throw it in and do not stretch (an inspector from Crew2 also verified this happened with their OWN company and still won't fix) which inevitably will leave you with RUINED carpeting in the end that they will refuse to replace. I have gone rounds with Home depot and Crew2 who play the blame game. They do not call or email back but after spending hours chasing people down to fix the problem they will ultimately admit to their wrong doing by giving you a SMALL refund ($400 refund after spending $5,000 for me) which is a small fraction of the cost you originally spent. I have never been so unhappy and appalled by these two companies and how they do business. They DO NOT care about their customers satisfaction whatsoever, are RUDE and do not listen. You will waste your time and money. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SCREWED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. DO NOT GO WITH HOME DEPOT WHO USES CREW2 FOR THE FREE INSTALL. I go here about 5 times a year and would go more but some of the floor employees are kind of rude. The checkout employees are always nice though. And the garden area are always nice. The paint department is always very helpful. As soon as I go to the back of the store though like the appliance or kitchen area or flooring, employees duck into isles and avoid eye contact to avoid helping. Lighting department also has odd-duck employees that give strange looks. Very strange and very awkward feeling. read more

I contacted The Home Depot after a can of their oil based paint which contains warning labels not to get on your skin exploded open after The Home Depot bag broke, covering my wood floor, myself, my wife and my 1 year old daughter. Both of our wedding rings were covered in the paint as well which are being cleaned. I received unhelpful and contemptible behavior from the representative Elana B. who was demanding and treated me less than a customer. My floor is ruined in our kitchen. No help was expressed from The Home Depot and they have stopped responding to my emails for help. I have sent four emails. This is not ok. I am NOT happy about my daughter being exposed to this toxic paint. The lid to the paint came right off. It was clearance paint that had been returned by a customer. The Home Depot did not check to make sure the lid was securely attached. When the bag broke from a height of less than two feet, the lid came right off. I will never shop at The Home Depot again. They offered no help to me at all and were extremely rude. read more
