I do not recommend CWF for many reasons. If I went into every detail, it would probably take me an…read morehour to write and 20 minutes for you to read, so I'll keep it as short as I can. They respond to your concerns very quickly at first, but after that, everything slows down. You constantly find yourself repeating the same information, and many of your questions go unanswered. They're also extremely expensive. My mitigation alone was around $27,000, and they subcontract much of their work to other companies without telling you until the last minute. You hire them expecting them to advocate for you with your homeowners insurance, but you end up doing most of the work yourself. It often feels like they're more focused on making money than providing good customer service. The quality of the work was poor, and instead of taking responsibility for mistakes, they somehow try to put the blame back on you. Recently, I had another contractor come out to give me estimates for a few projects I want to complete after everything is finished. When he found out I had worked with CWF, he shared a story with me. He said CWF once contacted him for a quote on a job, and he estimated it at $900. According to him, CWF later told the homeowner the same work would cost $20,000. The homeowner eventually started calling around, reached that contractor directly, and realized it was the exact same job and estimate. He told me he's seen similar situations before. I could go on with more examples, but the list is long. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking for another company.

My wife and I have been shopping for new windows for a while now, and we were getting a bit frustrated with the contractors we have been receiving quotes from. They either couldn't give us the guarantee nor give us a solid estimate. There was always something that either wasn't covered or was a variable that could add to the cost. Mr. Bloodgood sold us on Pella within the first few minutes of talking with him. He is professional, pleasent, and knew the answers to every question we had (and then some). We are starting with replacing half the windows this time, and early next year we will be looking to replace the rest along with the doors. I'm sure we will have more renovations after that and we will only be dealing with your outstanding company from now on! Thank you for the peace of mind you brought to our family!

Very disappointed! The original installers broke one of my four windows during installation and…read morethey installed it anyway and said a new one needed to be ordered and they would replace it, that was over 2 months ago and I am still waiting! They also did not properly remove the vinyl siding around the outside of the windows; instead, they simply pulled the siding back and tucked the window mounting flaps underneath the siding. They did a poor job caulking the "J" channel to the window frames and they did not re-nail the siding down and it's now buckling and bulging out in several areas. The installation crew was careless and very sloppy and the customer service is poor and follow up is slow. Very disappointing, I expected much better service and professionalism from Pella customer service and installers.

The guy that came to give me the quote asked me how I heard of Image Pros so he could adjust quote…read moreaccordingly. I told him I saw good reviews on Angieslist and he said "oh good, thats our best rate". He gave me a price for $125 ($95 for sealcoating, $30 for patches). Not the lowest price I've seen as I have received fliers in my mailbox from 5 other companies in the past year for sealcoating. Other companies had quoted anywhere from $66 to $85, although im sure this didn't account for the crack patching which cost an extra $30 with Image Pros. Im happy with the price for the quality of the work done. They did a clean job, used patch to take care of the cracks, and there are no lines/striping like i've seen in some other sealcoating jobs. The main problem I had was in coordinating the job. They originally scheduled the job for the day after the 4th of July extended holiday weekend (Tuesday July 5th). I went home at noon that day for lunch and saw nothing had been done. I called and asked what time they would arrive. I was told they would be out in the afternoon. Got home from work at 5 and still nothing. They called me at 5:30 and said they would reschedule to Friday because it looked like it may rain the next day. I was home from work all day on Friday the 9th. Called in the morning to remind them that were scheduled for that day. They said they would be there late afternoon. Again, got a call a little after 5pm saying that their truck had broke down and needed to reschedule to the following Monday the 12th. The woman asked me how this worked for me, and I told her it "wasnt as good as today, I was home all day from work". But I again rescheduled. I asked her what time specifically they would do the job on Monday, the woman told me I could call Monday morning to find if it would be done in the morning or afternoon. I elected not to call and hope it would just be done sometime that day. The job was in fact complete when I arrived home at noon on Monday, July 12th. They blocked off the drive with string and neon colored flags as hoped. Good final product, just seemed unprofessional in coordination. Also I told the woman on the phone in a prior conversation that I had a coupon for 10% off from angieslist.com. So my final price was $112.50. In my opinion, the guy who quoted the job originally should have applied this discount when he asked how I heard of the company and he said that was their best discount. (unless he did apply the discount unbeknownst to me and I received the discount twice, although I doubt this is the case).

The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding, and the work looks beautiful. We are so grateful that we were referred to US Waterproofing. Two moths later, they come out, I wasn't home at the time, and they leave after completing only half of the repair. I call them, they come a month later and complete only half of the half of the repair. So ridiculous. I calls them again, and their warranty departments is no longer taking calls or answering messages. I hope this company goes out of business soon.

It took some time and patience, but after quite a bit of back and forth, we reached a satisfactory resolution, and our floors now look great. Stay calm and kind. Most of the people you speak with are not decision-makers; they relay your issues to those who are. If you treat them kindly, they will "fight" for you and prioritize you as a customer. If you're not satisfied, ask to speak with managers and have all your information and proper documentation ready. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to remain calm and kind. You can achieve a reasonable resolution. Don't give up and they will make things right.

The salesman did not notice that there was tile below the current floor or even think it might be an asbestos floor. I know he saw the floor because I watched him. When the installer showed up, he said he could not install because of the asbestos. I had it remediated and the installer came back. He put in the new floor but refused to move the furniture into the rooms or re-install the closet doors. He said they did not tell him he had to do this so he did not have a crew with him to do it. His supervisor promised another appointment in a few days to move everything back. I began calling Empire a day or so later to confirm the appointment and was told there was not one. Each call I made to them told me something different. Finally they told me that they would not move furniture into a room that they did not take it out of or re-install doors that they did not take down. My contract was clear that they move furniture in and out. There was one larger dresser that we could not get into the room and had to hire some moving guys to do that and of course, to pay for that. Empire has offered me a credit of $140 which is just a token to me. The salesman, the installer, the people on the phone, the supervisor, they all had a different story for the issues we were having. Hence, I would not recommend this company. And if you use them, not only get it in writing but record your phone calls (totally illegal) but I wish that I had.
