    I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the flooring I purchased from this company. Despite being only two years old, the floors are already covered in nicks and showing significant wear. To make matters worse, they no longer even carry this specific product, leaving me with a 'cheap' result and no easy way to fix it. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their flooring needs. Save your money and find a different contractor who stands by their materials. Save the automated "please contact us" reply. I have already reached out and received no actual support. Your team has failed to address the damage to my floors or acknowledge the seriousness of these concerns.

    HORRIBLE INSTALLATION and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Let me start by saying, I'm pretty understanding and aware that any big job will result in some small things getting chipped or broken. I also DO NOT exaggerated. We signed up to get have new floors installed in our entire downstairs of our home. Kitchen, dining room, living room, front room, bathroom, and hallways. They completely ruined all of our beautiful and expensive base boards, the floors are wavy and mushy. And they destroyed the entire bottom of our built ins all the way across. Oh, and they got cement on our white couch. We also had two calls specifically stating that we do not want any quarter rounds anywhere and we came home to find them installed in multiple places. Me and my wife were away on business, which is why we didn't see the job in person be completed. Because of this, we didn't allow our mother-in-law to sign off on the job. When we came home, we couldn't believe a national company like this would leave our place looking like this. There is no way they couldn't know it looked horrible. It's been two weeks so far to get this resolved and we finally get a call that they will come Saturday 3/2 in the am. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled and I couldn't make it home until the afternoon, so I called Friday to let them know. They didn't tell the installer who still showed up and was only told there was some kind of problem with the quarter rounds. Btw, they told me they would not send the same guy who made all these mistakes to come assess, and they did. Now they are saying they can't come back for another week to review. I have two small children, a wife that works and I travel. We don't have time for this and they don't seem to look at this as a priority. I will never use them again, and I need my entire upstairs down over next. It's pretty disappointing to have to deal with this kind of lack of care from such a known brand. It will probably cost more to fix everything than it cost for the original job which was over 10k.

    The experience for this purchase was nearly painless. The sales rep, Matt, was skilled at his job and brought in a wide variety of choices. He explained all of the options thoroughly and helped us arrive at the correct choice. The install crew led by Juan was fantastic. They arrived promptly and began work immediately. They were able to prep and start installation on time which went smoothly. They repaired some minor issues and in all cases left our property in better condition than they found it. Cleanup was careful and meticulous, as though this was their own home. Because they didn't need to install and / use certain install materials, they made sure to take that off the final bill which was nearly $700 less than originally quoted! We will be calling Empire Today again for future projects!

    Large groove where baseboard doesn't meet carpet

    We just had basement carpet installed and although the carpet material is nice, the carpet does not meet the baseboard in places. The result is gaps that look very coarse and unprofessional. For the price I paid I would not expect now to have to try to get this fixed so that the install doesn't look so bad. I'm very disappointed. I asked customer service for help and they basically told me it's my problem. I thought this was a reputable carpet company. Please go elsewhere.

    Missing trim

    where do I start? This entire ordeal is an expensive nightmare. I was misinformed (didn't realize at the time) about the entire process. The people who did the laminate floor cut corners left pieces out and didn't finish, they were there for 3 days. I was in and out of the house working at my job and on the last day I asked them to text me and let me know what time they would probably be finishing so I could be home. They're supposed to be a complete walk-through to look at everything when they're done to make sure you're happy with it. they were gone when I got home and I found many things wrong. I called the company sent them pictures of what I was unhappy with and they sent a man back to finish the job. Again, he left before we could do a proper walk-through. There are places behind my appliances in my kitchen where the flooring doesn't even reach the wall there's huge gaps there are places in my kitchen where there's no trim placed and where there is trim place so it looks half done. My kitchen counters were also damaged ( an explanation or apology would have been nice) I'm not going to say that they took things from me but I am going to say that there are many things I cannot find. The upstairs was a different story. It was to be carpeted. A woman contacted me via text and said she was on her way to my house I contacted her back and said I was not there yet but I would meet her there. When I got home they were gone nothing had been done so I called the company and they told me that the carpet layers walked upstairs, there were clothes in my closet and my bed was made so they left. I did not understand that my closets had to be completely empty and that my bed had to be taken apart so that one is sort of on me. However she could've called me back or waited for me to get there . In all these days I had to make extra arrangements for my dog, and I had to shuffle my appointments around so that I could be available to be in and out of the house. The best thing I can say about this whole experiences were the two gentlemen that came a week later to place the carpeting did a wonderful job they were courteous polite and they did make sure we had a walk-through afterwards to make sure everything is OK. Those guys were wonderful and I can't say enough great things about them. For the money I am paying, I do not recommend using this company. And I'm so sorry that I didn't shop around local more like I usually do. My fault that I was in such a hurry to get it done.

    I have a friend in Chicago who is physically compromised. he had empire do his flooring and this is what it looks like. they also damaged his refrigerator and are not accepting responsibility. is this how Empire runs their empire? taking advantage of the handicapped? The picture shows the flooring buckling, like it was laid over melons, not just little bumps. This is unsafe flooring for anyone but when you factor in age and a person's physical ability, this is treacherous. Empire has been around for as long as I can remember, but if this is your quality of work today, and if this is how you handle poor installation, I would think your business is coming to an end.

Some would not tell me the brand the flooring was. Some just did not know their products. It was all so frustrating. Then along came Charles. My knight in shiny armor. He is sincere, honest and truly cares about your needs. He lets you know if there is a delay or a problem. I felt that I was in good hands. He told me all I needed for the floor. The supplier he deals with is top notch. Then came delivery/installation. I was immediately was put at ease with the worker he sent. I wanted to keep him. He did a nice job installing the floor. As soon as there was a little dust or mess there he was with his broom and vacuum. I love my floor. I did not even have to get use to it. My old floor was dark and this one was quite lighter. I do not expect to have any problems now. If I do I have confidence that Charles and his crew would be right here. Carpeting will be done soon. My plan is to go with Charles again. Skip the fast talkers and go with Nationwide Floor and Windows.
