This has become my new favorite place for ice cream. It's always very clean and a lot to choose from.

My family of 9 came here for the first time today and it was amazing!! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The topping area was very tidy. None of the flavors were broken. I came by with my daughters I thought the food was very good and they had quite the variety. Although during my visit I had noticed some were giggling and messing around way too much. Specifically one person who was always on their phone and talking. Also another thing was that a lady had her hair down while everyone else in the store wore theirs up. I believe it is mandatory to wear their hair up as dress-code since I worked at places that deal with food. In my opinion I found this very unsanitary and frankly disgusting. read more

So bombbbbb! I tried the dole whip, pomegranate razz, and tart. All of the flavors were good but the tart was my favorite! The toppings were fresh and they asked that everyone wear gloves prior to serving themselves so you feel good about eating here! read more

We haven't been many places due to COVID-19, but I can honestly say that I felt very safe at Menchies in Riverbank! The owner is thoughtful, considerate and excited to be a part of our community! Gloves presented as you walk in the door with each cup. The facility is very clean and neat. Most of all, the yogurt is absolutely delicious! This place was sooooo good. We have been waiting and waiting for it to open and man was it worth the wait. We had the dole whip and the strawberry raspberry something or other haha. Anyways it was good. Topping on point and delicious. I am a huge fan of boba and mochi which they had both. But yea this place is the bomb! We will be back many many times for years to come. I don't have any pics because we got too excited and ate it too fast. Oh and one more thing. Customer service was amazing. Even if it wasn't so good I'd still come back because of how nice they were, haha. Enjoy and don't eat all the mochi! read more

This place is so fun! Amazing yogurt with sugar free options and so fun to pick your own toppings! The owner/employees were so generous on their grand opening they gave away free yogurt and as much as I wanted to pay for the extra ones I was taking home to kids they insisted they were free today. We will be back several times and I am excited this has been added to our crossroads shopping center :) read more

When we first came in there was only a couple people inside. Masks are required. There's hand sanitizer provided. They provide gloves with your cup. The machines were incredibly slow!! Lots of good topping choices. The FY was ok, a little too frosty for my taste, not so much creamy. When my son and I were trying to get FY from the super slow machines suddenly there was a ton of people inside. The place is not huge and the area to get your FY is not a big space. People were being pushy and I felt very rushed in the topping area. Social distancing was not happening and really not possible with all those people in the area. The line was all the way to the front door and six people standing outside looking worried about going inside. If you're going to go to such lengths to protect people during COVID, why not limit the amount of guests inside at one time? It was pretty frustrating. read more

went to menchies tonight. i got chocolate and it was ok. and i got a little pomegranate and i liked that one better. my husband got nutellla and he said it was good. my son got nutella as well but he said cannot taste the nutella flavor. daughter got nutella as well and peanut butter and said it didn't taste like it. and the brownies were hard. but i do like that they were giving gloves for everyone to use. because at first i was a little nervous in going. because i don't know if everybody would be sanitizing their hands and i don't want the crew to do the serving because only me would know how much or how little i want. all in all, i would go back for the pomegranate. not so sure about my kids though. but they said it was much better than yogurt mill. read more

I feel like the moment I walked into Menchies I felt very unwelcome from what I assumed to be the manager. As I walked around the yogurt machines I feel like I was judged and profiled remotely because of my race. As I was waiting in line I saw the employees doing customer service as I would casually see what I would assume to be the manager on their phone walking around and outside the store. I overheard her giggling and laughing while I saw employees struggling with the overload of customers there. I also noticed that one of their employees had their hair down while all the others had to have their up. In my opinion this is very unsanitary for a food business and it seemed like to me that the manager had no care in the world letting one of their employees have their hair down. During my visit I also heard profanity being used in the songs that were being played and I think that is unacceptable especially if you want to consider the store family friendly. My visit there was very unsettling and I think that something should be done with whoever is the lead or person in charge. Other than that the yogurt was very good and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. read more
