Came here due to an auto accident, I have never had a previous at a chiropractor but this was such a great experience and they really value care of each and every patient. When u first walk in you will be pleasantly greeted by Jackie she is super sweet and remembers every single patient that walks through the door. While they do respond quickly they don't care if you actually end up seeing the Dr or not. There is no effort to work with your schedule, it is as if they want to rush you off the phone. Side note: For some reason their phone is full of static and background noise. This gives a very bad impression, especially of this is your first interaction. I was seen by Dr Lajom. Pro's: clean office, organized, assistant's all know there place. Con's: hard to find, and more importantly the doctor did not let me finish a single sentence. He mansplained to me, spoke down and treated me like a child. He still has no idea why I sought out this office and came in today. He declared what he decided was wrong with me, did a few adjustments, asked me if I had questions for him (not if I wanted to say anything) and was gone all in about 2 minutes. **Update** So!!! Just wanted to update my review. This office has changed locations. The new location offers a much warmer greeting space with larger waiting room, beautiful, quartz countertops, more accessible therapy and treatment rooms. It is now located on the second floor, with elevators accessible at both ends of the lobby. Parking is much easier, as there is parking in both, front and back, of the building. They are brand new to the building, so signage was not as clear as it will be... That being said, they are on the same side as the urgent care, second-floor, directly to the right of the elevator, or behind the staircase. In Suite 203. As usual, this office runs busy yet efficiently. The quality of service has not changed. These ladies do their best to make sure you don't have too much downtime in the waiting room. I will never forget the first time I stepped into Dr. Lajom's office. I was nervous and terrified due to my fears of becoming paralyzed. I was also extremely stressed from my job and had chronic neck and shoulder pain as a result. Dr. Lajom came in and listened to my fears intently as I sobbed in his office from the pain and stress. He was very reassuring, kind, and uplifting. He stayed a few extra minutes speaking to me even though there were a bunch of patients waiting for him. I ended up speaking to a lady in the waiting room who told me she had been in a really bad car accident, and after just a few months of seeing Dr. Lajom, she said she was completely off painkillers. That gave me hope as well and now I see him for adjustments almost every week. The office is clean and well kept, and they disinfect all the beds after each use. To top it off, his front desk staff and assistants are all very kind. Their method for seeing each patient is very organized and methodical which is nice. You always know what to expect. And kind of a little thing that I like is that he also writes an uplifting quote on a little whiteboard that you can see immediately when you enter the waiting room. I want to express how well the Mendyk Chiropractic is organized and the level of pain reducing chiropractic care they give. Let me start with the way that the office is run. After getting processed into their system, you will see that Derek Lajom has a well oiled and organize machine. You never sit unattended for long periods because they have the customer service process streamlined to ensure that you get in and out as quickly as possible while receiving the high level of care possible. What I mean by this is that your wait periods from entering to being sent to a private room for DR review of your healing process and new manipulation adjustments be made to continue your healing to chiropractic massage is at minimum. They don't waste your time! This is important especially when you need to get in 1-3 visits a week. Let's talk about the care. The intake process is very detailed so that they can full attend to all of your healing requires. They do a full written interview followed up by verbal interview by the Dr Lajom. Afterwards, the chiropractic manipulation is started. Every visit that you have with the Dr Lajom, he discusses with you your healing progress. He continually adjusts his treatment to help further your healing process. He definite cares about the quality of care that you receive. He listens! He "probes" you verbally to get information from you. Sometime you have patients that aren't very commutative which could cause them not to get the care that they need. That's not going to happen here. He makes sure that gets the information that he needs to help you. After you receive your chiropractic manipulation (adjustments) you are immediately taken to the massage and electric stimulation room. You never have to wait in this area! As soon as you walk into the room the doctor's assistants place you on a table or in a chair so that you get the muscle stimulation that will help provide pain relief and increase blood flow to increase healing. After. you are done this you simple walk to entrance exit to leave. While leaving it literately take 30 secs or less to get your next appointment schedule and you are on your way home. I do want to close with a comment about his staff and staffing. This is fully staffed all of the time. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know they jobs very well. The office managed very efficiently all reports and documents that you may need for work or EED are filled out delivered on time. They know what they are there unlike some other medical offices that have had to endure. If you are going to need chiropractic service, this is the place to go. I give 5 stars. I've been to a chiro in Riverside and in Menifee, this one is the most organized and the fastest service. My first visit was excellent, wonderful front desk lady and staff. I saw Dr. Derick Lajom, very personable man, had a good session. I had to schedule a follow-up appointment the same week to see how my first visit went, and go over the "doctor's home care instructions." Something I haven't experienced before. It was easy getting an appointment over the phone, I called about 30 other places and they were either closed, didn't take insurance, or said "we will call you back" this was the only place that took my insurance and also quickly made a same day appointment for me. It was my 1st time ever at a Chiro, I wasn't sure if my problem could be helped because I didn't know if my pain was from my bones or muscles. Dr Lajom was great! Started going in for therapy after my car accident & from day one everyone from staff to doctor has treated me very well. Immediately greeted as soon as you walk in even when they're busy on the phone or doing paper work. There were times where I had to cancel an appointment, but they had no problem finding other dates & times that worked well with me & my schedule. On september 8th, I got into a car accident. My leg was injured and my neck was stiff and tense, I was told to get my body checked by a chiropractor and boy thank God I did. Not only was I able to fully recover, the doctors here are incredible at locating other body parts that may be misaligned or tense and after a couple weeks of being here, I never felt better. Mind the fact that I was able to recover, but the staff became like family. Jackie is an amazing staff member who never fails to mention your name and greet you every visit.
