I had a really good first experience here! The front desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. They accept IEHP directly, which was a big plus--no need for a doctor's referral. The clinic was clean and comfortable, including the restroom, which was cozy and well-maintained. The acupuncture room was peaceful and quiet, setting the tone for a relaxing session. I had a quick consultation with the doctor before the treatment, and once the needles were in (which I barely felt at all), I rested for about 15 minutes. After the session, they gave me helpful reminders like avoiding cold water and that feeling sleepy or extra relaxed afterward is totally normal. They do ask for a $10 co-pay for additional services, which I think is very fair. Overall, I felt well taken care of and will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been going to One Acupuncture now for a month as I was referred for pain relief of my lower back by the Veteran's Administration and have had great experience every time. The office Manager Chris her assistant Anahi are both very friendly, courteous, and informative. They both make you feel very welcome. I had questions when i got in the room and everything was explained for me as to the process and made me feel comfortable. I don't like needles, but Dr. does a great job, so you hardly feel them. I used to go 5 years ago to this accupuncture center. But since moving to another city, was unable. However, family members recommended this. So, I went again two to three weeks ago for a massage. True enough, the Indian guy was good. So, I made another appmnt. When I went there yesterday, not only were there used needles laying on the counter next to the sink but I had the worse experience with the new massage therapist. And upon checking in, they did not even tell me, there's a new massage therapist. I had to ask who she was when I was brought to the room. Before the massage, she did not ask anything. I had to bring up my concerns(being a veteran to massages, that's the initial conversation that should take place-the client's health concerns or area of pain). Then, she just massages like there's no rhythm. I just let this be. Later, while massaging the side bottom of my neck, on her stroke up, her knuckle or some bony part of her hand hit the near the base of my skull. It hurt. So, I told her and asked her to massage that area(the indented area). She kept massaging my skull. I was already pointing and she is still unable to follow. She started raising her voice and I had to tell her to not raise her voice. The owner/manager walked in and I can't believe she has to say "Both of you, stop it." This is unlike any spas I've been whether expensive ones or not. You never hush a customer. You try to listen or see escalate. Hushing is by no means of de escalating. It was embarrassing. It's the first ever time that I witnessed an owner of a spa has to hush a customer who had a complaint of the service and of all people the customer was me. And later, this massage therapist said she was made to feel fat. (Now, I remembered saying I don't want the rolled pillow because they're big and said that this are not customized to different sizes or small frames like me. Might create more problems than help). The owner said not to take this literally. Whaaat? Are we speaking foreign here? I'm suppose to read secret language here? It's a mess. You go to the place to relax. Not to be stressed. She tried to compensate by offering cupping or accupuncture. I can sense a bit of sincerity. But the hushing is offensive and also she mentioned that maybe I'm too fragile or has a sensitive body that's why I react to the massage. My point is she hit a part of my body unintentionally that created more pain. A simple apology or accountability of that action would have been good even though the point is to pay more attention on what she's doing and not mindlessly massaging. Stressful place. read more

I suffered from severe lower back pain for many years. I purchased a new mattress, tried different pillows, and pain meds only offered temporary relief. I heard of this place by word of mouth. Dr. Lee and Dr. Kim are the REAL things. When no one would help me. They did. When you walk into the office, you feel the calmness, serenity and positivity. I suffer from really bad muscle spasms. Before being treated by A1 Acupuncture, I went to a neurologist, the emergency room, and was told - I was just stressing, meantime I was in severe pain. My entire arm and left on the right side curved up and paralyzed me. Also, last but definitely NOT least, the Medical Assistant Leticia.
