It was a great fit for me, but then my husband wanted me to try another bike that had dual suspension and obviously I'm not a bike professional as he is. My son had a little accident with his bike and the gear part broke. I took to a bike shop near my house, Jax Bicycle Center, and they gave me a very high estimate to fix it. I went to 2 other shops and they also wanted a lot of money to fix it. Finally, I found a coupon from Menifee Bicycles and I decided to take the bike there. Even though they are 20 miles away from me, I want to check them out. They were very friendly and honest. They showed me the part that it need to be replaced and gave me a estimate. I was shocked to know that it was HALF of the price from the other shops. We got our bike fixed for the amount that he quote us, and the bike is good as new! This store is the real deal. This is THE bike shop to go to ... even if you have to drive an hour! Craig, the owner, has run this shop for many years and we have been customers since the late 80's. Way before Yelp came to be. We have 6 children...as you can imagine we have had a few bikes that needed fixing over the years and the staff have always been right on with the repairs. He also sells high quality bikes. Guess what, his bikes are not in for repairs as often as the cheap ones from Target or Walmart. Craig has been a shining example of a local business owner in Menifee. The staff are ultra-kind and they went completely out of their way to help fellow customers (a couple of kids, maybe 8-10 years old) standing in line front of me in need of bike brakes and service. The staff treated them with the utmost respect and without any disregard. I admit, I was shocked because even at the grocery store at the rarest times when I see kids buying a candy bar or a toy, the employee may look down on them as if they are an unimportant person, or customer. I am glad to say that was NOT the case here. So kudos to Menifee Bicycles!! I previously bought a bike at a different shop (brand is GIANT) because the stock at this shop only contained two (2) mens hybrids and the sizes were mediums...I needed a large. The reason of coming back to this store is because I needed to replace the standard bike seat with a new one (wasn't sure of the size, comfort, etc). The staff knew exactly what I needed after asking a few questions. Quick, easy, done! Also, what really sold me was when I was completing the transaction for the bike seat, the employee informed me of the shop's goodwill policy to refund/return bike seats that may not be comfortable after riding and breaking in. The seat I bought happened to be perfect, but just knowing that I could have exchanged for a different one if I experienced discomfort is excellent! I am all for that kind of service and guarantee! Super honest store! First time I came in here I was ready to pay big but they said it just needed a adjustment got me out in 10 minutes for a very small fee. Second time I brought 2 different bikes(husbands and sons bikes) for a tune-up... they said only one needed a tuneup.. the other was fine. Cruised into the shop just to check it out. Fun and funky little shop tucked into a strip mall. They carry Cult, Fit, Giant and Raleigh from what I can tell, and just became a Pivot dealer, but don't stock anything yet. This is great, as I will no longer have to drive into Riverside to get warranty work performed. This is the store that carries 26" cruiser tires in yellow, purple, red, blue etc. grips/saddles/bar wrap to match. So if you're building that bike that MUST coordinate...this is the place to shop. A little light on the apparel front, but that's a tough category for any IBD to really nail down without spending tons of $$$ on inventory that might not move. The staff here isn't pushy, and really seemed to know what they were talking about. Would go here for knick-knacks, and once they have pivot products in stock, I'll be in far more often. read more

This is probably THE BEST bike shop I have been to. As a child I used to ride bikes all the time but never really been able to do any repairs on my bike so I always took it into my local bike shop. Years later our kids ride their bikes and as you may have guessed, I still to this day can't fix a bike to save my life and lately I have been taking both kids bike here to Menifee Bicycles. I have to say, every time I come in this place is popping with people either buying or getting repairs done. And despite their business they are always willing to do their best to get to our bikes right away with no moaning or groaning. All the people that work here have been great.
