My wife and I are in Southern California visiting family and teaching. We were driving on the 10 freeway and the light came on that we had low pressure. I stopped at a rest stop in Redlands and found a big bolt we had picked up. I quickly scrambled on yelp to find a good local tire shop and came across this one. I called and got the prices, $10 for a plug and $20 for a patch. We needed a patch due to the size of the bolt. He said there wasn't too many cars ahead of them as they were working pretty fast . They weren't lying, when I got there, I literally waited five minutes and there's a crew of guys pulling cars in and out of the dock quickly repairing tires for folks. Meno's Tires came in handy when I had a flat tire earlier a couple of weeks ago. Most tire shops are closed on Sundays, and there wasn't a Costco nearby that I could tow my car to. I was calling around to all the various tire places. Meno's hours said it was open until 5 pm. I had the flat at 3:30 pm and had to pull off the freeway. It was so flat that I couldn't even drive it half a mile down the road to Meno's. I tried calling Meno's a couple times but they apparently closed early that day. I also called several other places. Right before I decided to go with another place that was farther away, I decided to call Meno's again and thankfully they picked up! Manny was able to come out and remove my tire. He took it back to the shop but unfortunately was unable to patch it. He did have another brand of used tires that was the same size, so he put that one on and I was able to drive home. I ended up paying $60 for the service - since he had to come out to me; if I could make it to the shop there wouldn't be a service fee - and $50 for the used tire, for $110 total. If the tire had been able to be patched, I think the cost to patch was $15 or $20 (I forget exactly). I did bring the flat tire to America's Tire, where it was patched the first time, but they also said it was not patchable. They checked the wear of the used tire I purchased - it was at 5 mm, which matched my other OEM tires (6 mm and 5 mm), so it should all wear down the same hopefully before I need to get a new set of 4. Been driving on it since with no issues so far and since Meno's came in clutch on a Sunday, 5 stars!! read more

My husband needed a new tire, and although they didn't have the exact one he needed in shop, they plugged his old tire and the owner of the shop came in AFTER hours on a Thursday, when the ordered tire came in, to put the new one on for him as he was working long hours!! Who does that!?? It's very difficult to find good customer service anymore, but Menos Tire Shop goes above and beyond for their customers! We called Meno 40 minutes before he was closing on a Saturday and told him we were 30 minutes away but needed a certain sized tire. He went to the trouble of going through his truck to find us the tire we needed and, when we got to his shop, he quickly diagnosed that the 1-day old used tire we had gotten in Palm Springs not only was damaged (we could see the wire through the rubber) but also had a "bubble" and that was why the car was pulling so hard to one side. He and his team quickly changed out the tire for a "new" used one at a very fair price. Meno and his guys saved us a BIG hassle, as we were on our way to L.A. and were on our way in 20 minutes!
