This cup of apple juice cost 6.50 for my three year old...

Food was good, service was reasonable given the staff to customer ratio. But the prices were a little outrageous. A small cup of apple juice was $6.50. I recognize prices are high but this was more than a glass of Pepsi or a coffee.... Won't be coming back

We were staying at the hotel next door and came over to get a late dinner. The place was busy, but there is lots of seating and we were seated within a few minutes. The interior and ambiance were great, with a large bar area and huge table area. The open kitchen is always fun to watch. Our server was attentive and everything came out in good time. We had the fried pickle appetizer, the beet arugula salad, and chicken fingers with fries. All the food was really good. The pickles tasted either homemade or refrigerator pickles. The coating was maybe a little thick, but crispy. These were chips, served with a fantastic spicy remoulade. My picky daughter didn't love them, but I did. If I was hungrier and not dieting, I would have eaten them all! I loved the beet salad. Yellow and red beet chunks surrounded a fresh bed of arugula and greens with walnut sized perfectly fried goat cheese balls and macadamia nuts. It was dressed with a light balsamic vinaigrette. The dressing wasn't strong or oily and I either could have used a little more or maybe I should have used a dash of salt & pepper. The salad was great though and I really enjoyed it. The chicken fingers were 4 big pieces of crispy breast meat tenders with good fries. My daughter loved these. This is a great place in Arlington and if ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in!

Beware the blackboard special. There are no prices listed, so it was shocking to find out it was $65 - twice any other entree on the menu

Food is good but not cool to be pressure by hostess to tip more on takeout. On principle that is a turnoff.

We had an unexpected trip to the area that morning to visit a local store…read more When we were done, we noticed it was just about lunch time and decided to find a place to eat. There were many options to choose from but we do like to try places that are not always traditional. Hoping for a local favorite. Right on the corner, it is easy to find and with street parking easy to get to and enjoy a good meal and probably a late night gathering with friends. Rustic looking, it definitely put off the vibe of the local establishment for Arlington. We were the first customers that early afternoon. They were literally unlocking the doors when we arrived. The menu offered enough options to satisfy our dietary and personal preferences. Meats, chicken, fish and veggie options. You can find something. Staff was very friendly and attentive, but we were the only guest that early in the day. The crowd did pick up as we ate our meal. Large windows allowed you to sit and people watch on, what I would imagine is the Main Street for the town. It was Sunday so a little quiet so not a lot people watching today. Food was great and the presentation was a lot more than expected for a tavern. Full bar options and a good list of local craft beers. I love trying local beers when possible. A lot of space for seating during the day and I can only imagine the evening bar scene. Based on the number of people who did walk in while we were there to recover their credit card from the night before. Sounds weird but it totally gave off the local vibe. Love it. Very clean and tidy for a Tavern. Respectful place. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game so I enjoyed a chance to see one of the Sweet 16 games that day. So, if you are in town, give Town Tavern a visit.

Atmosphere was pleasant as we intermittently watched a football game on the monitor. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great time here watching the latest Patriots victory that is sending us to The Bowl. Who needs Bob Billakraft and Brady anymore? I am now an Official Level 3 Heavy User of Jimmy's Prime Rib. Those huge fat blobs are flavor packed and melt in your mouth. Fat is flavor! Trust... Thank you to Kimberly for wicked pissah service ! :)

The best thing about this place is the pleasant ambiance (lots of dark wood and relaxed lighting)…read moreand pretty decent service. Actual food? Meh. "Mediterranean salad" was mostly ICEBERG LETTUCE (and not particularly fresh at that) with a sad sprinkling of cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives...and zero feta cheese. What in the ...? Sheer barbarism! The sirloin strip steak, which the server said was the most fatty and flavorful cut they offer, was fairly forgettable. Strangely, this steakhouse does not offer T-bone or ribeye, which are what I usually get. My friend's steak tips were dry and flavorless due to the fat having been disastrously trimmed off...ugh. Now I understood why the server specifically warned me against getting that when I was asking her for the fattiest, juiciest steak. My other friend's scallions were ok, as far as scallions go. I suppose if I were crazy about seafood, I'd come for that. The fact that this place is constantly packed really testifies to the sad reality of local (Arlington) palates and why I rarely eat there unless truly desperate. PS. For any beer lovers out there, if they are out of the excellent Lord Hobo Boom Sauce IPA, do *not* order the Harpoon IPA ... just as bland and flavorless as the steak tips! I could barely taste anything hoppy enough about it that would deserve being called an IPA.
