Most people were on the hunt for sandals, as their shoes tend to be over 100 dollars. The offerings were in big boxes by size where you had to hunt and peck for shoes. The offerings did not only include sandals, but also included slippers and tennis shoes. The men shoes had a lot more variety. Beyond the Olukai brand, there were couple of other brands being offered that provided yoga wear, snow wear, and sunglasses. The experience was good as fellow customers were not agressive. The event was pretty tame. If you have interested in a brand, and you don't mind searching through boxes, then this is a good opportunity to snag a deal. There are more than 85 stores and restaurants at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. My wife's favorite is the Ann Taylor Factory Store. There is also a Coach Outlet, Gap Factory, Michael Kors Outlet, and so much more. Some of the restaurant options include a Blaze Pizza, Starbucks (of course!), Jersey Mike's, Ruby's Diner, Rubio's Coastal Grill, Wetzel's Pretzels, Tea Monks, Panda Express, Oasis Tacos, Mot'to Japanese Grill, and Haagen Dazs. Had it not said that, I would have bought it in an instant. Something about living in CA, wearing a CA shirt... its too touristy for me. Of course, they were buy one get one half off, so for about 5 minutes I talked myself into just getting the CA shirt. The girl said - you can wear it as your errands shirt... I ended up finding my dress and veil here and getting it preserved through them. Parking is through the other side of the street, away from where the entrance to Posh is. There was a decent variety of options here considering how small the store is. I noted some preferred designers that they happened to have and helped me focus on those areas when I was picking ones to try on. Jenna was the one who assisted for my actual try ons. I opted to go alone so it was nice that she was giving me good feedback without being pushy. She paid attention to what I liked about certain dresses and ultimately recommended a few other dresses that had them. My dress ended up being one Jenna added for me! It was perfect because I was debating between something super classic vs romantic and she knew immediately that she could find me something in the middle. I got alterations done here as well as my veil. Altogether I was able to stay within my budget, though alterations were definitely a bit pricier which I know is common. Monika their seamstress was also great at giving me recommendations on what would look good without me really overthinking it. After my wedding I came back to get my dress preserved.
