How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for.

When I picked the next size up, she suddenly said I owed about $4 more because of a "price difference." That's not what she had said earlier. To make matters worse, she began muttering things under her breath in another language. I recorded it and translated it afterward -- and what she said was completely inappropriate and racist. The measurement was 4" of the embroidery work and I was told that I needed to pay a setup fee, which I was willing to pay. It took me a few weeks to get my jersey back to the store, but when I did, I was told that someone had already paid the setup fee and that I didn't need to pay that after all. What they didn't tell me was that it would not be the size I wanted. In fact, it wasn't even half the size!!! Then I was told that it would take a week to 10 days to complete it. It took well over a month. Then I was asked about placement of the ribbons. I told them in the center. They were not centered and toward the top. I was also told that I would be texted when the jersey was done. But all communications were done via email only which further delayed the work because I get over 200 emails a day and literally had to search for the communications. They said that they could redo the work, but that I would have to pay the setup fee. And likely wait another 6 weeks for my jersey? No thanks. Now I need to find another embroidery company to see if they can fix this. This has been a horrible experience for me.
