Ordered online for an in store pick up because I have been looking for some specific denim shorts but could not find them anywhere near me. The online pick up process was easy but had some issues when it came to my order being prepared in store due to a new system but it all worked out. Maggie and her sales associates were gems in trying to help me out, find my order in their system, had it prepared when I arrived, and even price matched based on their current sale. This review is for the Carlsbad store and the Barstow store- LIARS. CHEATS. THIEVES. DON'T SHOP THERE. I was a good, repeat customer. The last time I shopped there, I bought for myself and for a friend who has physical problems that make shopping difficult. To get her shopping done, we took her basic measurements to help me find pants that would fit. When I showed the sales clerk the measurements, he had no understanding of basic measurements at all. It was close to closing, and he gave his advice on what might fit my friend, based on her height and weight. I decided I would take his advice, but also get a size smaller and a size larger for each of his suggestions. I live many hours from Barstow, but since I was planning to return to Barstow for business soon, I spent almost $500. on the purchase for my friend, knowing I could return what didn't fit. None of the pants fit my friend! The sales clerk was so wrong in his guessing that we had nothing she could use. If I had a decent clerk, or more time to measure the pants myself in the store, that would not have happened. I was planning to return to Barstow to return the pants, but then I didn't need to go to Barstow. So, I brought the pants to the Carlsbad Levi's Outlet store, and the manager there refused to refund my money because she said it was too late to return the items! I was shocked. I had assumed that a company like Levi's, known for decades, would not deny a return, especially for clothes that were basic stock items, and for a person who had tried to do a good deed for a friend. I was very wrong to trust Levi's. The Carlsbad manager gave me the business card for their corporate "Customer Relations" department. "Customer Relations" refused to help with anything related to outlet stores, which was so rude. Since I was so frustrated, I asked my friend to call "Customer Relations", and also the Barstow Outlet store if necessary. "Customer Relations" also denied her the refund, and then the Barstow Outlet Store lied to her for days about a district manager, named "Saul", who would return her call and discussing the refund. CJ was the first manager to lie to my friend, and later in the week Donna, another manager, lied to my friend, and Saul never called my friend once! They must really hate customers. I was an excellent and loyal customer, but now I refuse to buy anything from Levi's for the rest of my life. My friend keeps offering me money for the pants I bought, but she is on a fixed income, so I won't accept money from her. Levi's should pay: they are wrong to treat us this way. We were going to shop again after getting the refund, but now I refuse to shop at all. PLEASE, DO NOT SHOP THERE. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. THEY ARE GRUBBY SLIME WHO DON'T CARE. AND, THEIR PRICES ARE TERRIBLE: THERE ARE NO GOOD DEALS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

Went to Levi's last night. At 7:45 my son asked to try on a pair of pants. The lady at the fitting room said "sorry no" and when we asked she rudely said "we closed at 8!" And when I said but it's 7:45...she got on the headset and asked the guy at the front who was clearly irritated and said to tell them (us) "No". Trying on pants takes what, 5 minutes. And then buying them or putting them back another 5 minutes? You still would have been done before 8. And now we will never shop there because you were in a hurry to shove customers out. A little customer service goes a long way. read more

After having to come back because the store was closed so early I found out like so many places with covid still lingering as we may feel like life is semi getting to normal for many it's not. Levi's is another example where they didn't have enough staff so they couldn't open and it just happened to be the day I had come out. Even though I was annoyed I completely understand. With that said I was able to make my return. The store didn't have the size I was looking for or the jeans I wanted, however a helpful sales rep went over and beyond to look for my item online to have it shipped to my house. It was such a seamless transaction. What also ended up being a blessing is the original jeans I bought were 40% off, however now they are 50%. Score!!! So before you head to the outlets or specifically this store I would call ahead to make sure they are actually open and it's not another understaffed day. read more

I was so glad I stopped in this Levi's Outlet Store because they happen to being having a huge sale. Now, I did not pick up any jeans, I have plenty of those, but I did pick up several Levi brand T's with their logo and art work. They were on sale for $ 9 each and were made of quality material which was what to expect from a Levi's Store. They young lady at the register was great. She was helpful and provided very friendly service. Great service. read more

Drove quite a while to get to outlet mall in Carlsbad and this store made the trip worth it. I haven't tried their jeans before and it was interesting to try all their different fits. The staff was super friendly with their dressing room and I was able to try on a lot of jeans, but I think the real value lies in their clearance section and the other things they sell outside of jeans. We were able to get a jacket and some nice shirts that were MASSIVELY discounted. Also, checking out was super funny since the guy staffing it was cracking jokes with us the whole time, and it was just a fun time to be in the store. Would definitely come back again! read more

It REALLY pains me to give a Levi's store a one star review as I'm a very long time advocate of Levi's (13 of my 15 pairs of jeans are Levi's. However, I stumbled across this place and was thrilled to see a display of my favorite style right at the door. It was odd how close to the door it was but the reason became extremely apparent. I went in, grabbed 3 different colors and checked out. The lady acted a little funny as I checked out, like she wanted to tell me something but hesitated. I was wearing a mask and walking outdoors so didn't notice the smell until I got in my car. The jeans were in the back of the car. I got a very strong odor of mold and thought it was a plant or soil in the parking lot. Once I got home, I realized it was my bag of jeans. I thought it was the paper bag but it was quickly apparent that it was the jeans. I have washed them about 8 or 9 times in the past month since my purchase and have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of the smell. I even put a bit of bleach in and let them soak. Needless to say, the medium and dark pair don't look great now. I decided to wear a pair the other day to run errands and that's all I could smell. I had my hand resting on my leg at one point, scratched my nose and could smell it on my hand! It's insane and now I'm out close to $200 and am stuck with these nasty,smelly jeans. I don't even want to put them in a donation box. Really disappointing experience. read more

I went here for the first time on a Saturday with my son. He was looking to purchase some jeans. While he was browsing in the mens section, I went over to look at the womens jeans. On a few pair of jeans I noticed that the stitching on the hem was poor. My son found a few pair of jeans to buy along with a belt. No one asked if we needed assistance while we were there. The cashier with the long brown hair was friendly. My son was happy with his purchases, but I won't be back. read more

The floor staff was friendly, informative, and service oriented. They were quick to drop other tasks to look for a size and style in back if it wasn't on the floor. I arrived not looking forward to slightly higher prices but willing to pay for the convenience of an organized selection, and then found out a second pair is 50% off anyway! I ended up buying a size and style that look and fit much better than my past jean purchases (which were usually whatever and wherever without any understanding of differences). Glad I went.
