I used to have Marco as a barber at a really known spot in the San Fernando Valley. It was seriously a great surprise after I found out that he opened a place. Not knowing what I was walking into though, they had really tinted windows... so when I walked in... I could not believe they had a full house of people waiting to get their haircut. I've officially had my hair cut by every barber here after I got my most recent cut today, and every one of them has been phenomenal. Most recent ones have been done by Desean and Ruben and the attention to detail is insane. My schedules pretty crazy so it's been hard for me to book just one of them but I don't ever feel the need to because I trust every one of them to have me leaving with an amazing cut. If your busy like me, than book any one of the barbers they have available and you'll be set. Other barbers in Simi are just kinda alright in comparison but this is the only spot I keep coming back to knowing they'll get it done. If you care about masks too they wear them and so is everyone getting a cut. Overall just the best barber spot in Simi by far and I'd probably say in Ventura County even. Looking to kill some time while my fiance was busy getting her hair done before our engagement photo shoot, so decided I'd get a beard trim, minus a haircut since I'm bald. Found this place on yelp nearby, highly rated, and for good reason. Couldn't find anyone that offered just a beard trim on their online appointment scheduler, so I called them up. They were happy to accommodate me. Was met by I think it was Gus, who was friendly and took his time, making my beard look the best it could. He did a great job, and charged me a reasonable price for the time he spent. My fiance was happy how it turned out as well, and it looked great in our photos. I typically would go to San Fernando valley for my haircuts even though I live in Simi due to this town not having a good barber shop. My son heard about Men's Parlour through some of his friends and I let him go try it out (being very particular about my own haircuts I thought I'd let him test the waters!). Well after his haircut I was impressed and decided to give it a go with my younger son and myself. Marco is top notch and took care of us from the moment we walked in the door. I have found my new barber shop and am excited it's local. This is the spot that also trumps my SF Valley spot as well so it's convenient and better. MARCO SAVED MY LIFE!!! Let me tell you a story, the other night I went to get some personal things done in Santa Barbara, and I didn't get finished till 2am, and I figured a 2 hour drive home wasn't too bad that I could make it. Boy was I wrong, I was so tired, I ended up falling asleep 15 minutes away from my house and totally wrecking my truck and ended up being air lifted on life support to the hospital. Once I finally woke up I had the most beautiful nurse, and the only thing she could do was compliment how great of a haircut I had and how handsome I looked even with a broken nose and glass cuts all over my face. I went there on Sunday, I drive an hour to go to this place, great haircuts, I checked their website and all yelp, Facebook, and Instagram and it said everywhere that it was open, I was there for almost and hour and after it said it was open, 10 to 2 open hours and no one showed up, I think who ever is running the shop is really unprofessional because there's no warning posted nowhere that they are running late or closed. I left and there was about 10 people still waiting at the door. Management needs to step it up and be more profesional. At lest let your costumers know that you guys are not coming in so the are not waiting outside the shop. :( read more

This was our first time going to Men's Parlor. I have two boys, one who is almost 3 and ne who is almost 4. My 4 yr old has some special needs and does not like getting his hair cut! From the moment we walked in, the guys were so nice and friendly, even offering to change the music. They were so patient with myself and my children. Even with all of the wiggles, crying and throwing up( yes, I said throwing up) their hair cuts look awesome! Not once did they appear completely frustrated. I highly recommend this place! Their prices are great as well. The only downfall for me is, they don't take appointments and perfection takes time. I think the waiting and anticipation made it worse for my son. I get that the hair cuts are good and line is long. I waited 40 min for a cut, put my name on the list. People still in front of me, asked dude how long, said another 40 mins. Told him cool, I'm a grab a bite to eat, but I'll be back. Asked if he wanted my number said no it's cool. Come back 25 min later, scratched my name and put more people on the list.
