It's been more than 2 weeks but I wanted to write a review for this place specially. Atmosphere is great. You will feel like you have entered a sports club. Read review on yelp for marco. Very enthusiastic for him waited 2 hours came back got stuck in traffic and boom my turn is gone..He said my turn will start from starting point and I have to wait another 1 and a half hour. Marco is extremely personable and a talented barber!!!! I applaud how far he has come as a business owner. However, I wish he would reel in the front desk staff as they are very bad at managing the walk-ins. My son and I waited for nearly ONE HOUR after telling the guy at the front desk that although we preferred a particular stylist, we would take the next available chair. This did not happen. Instead, another customer walked in and was seated after less than a five minute wait. This coupled with one of the barbers dropping the f-bomb numerous times in front of us and a mom and her little ones (3-5 years old), we walked out. Man was I super disappointed when I came here, I was super excited not to have to drive to the valley once I read the reviews on this place. I started by calling 10 minutes before I showed up which I was told there was no wait, once I arrived tons of people and they were super busy. I waited about 45 minutes while the 3 people came in after me were helped before me, once I asked when my turn was they said I was next I waited and again another that came in after me was helped before me. I get my undercut done by JR and my husband gets his regular cut done by him too. Great barber! The shop is always packed but they move quick and are extremely polite. We are new to Simi and found Men's Parlour through Yelp. This establishment does not disappoint. I brought my 5 year old son to Men's Parlour and Cristal did a phenomenal job on his hair cut. The lines on his fade were on point. The barbers are professional and have a kindness towards their clients that is unparalleled to anything we have experienced before. Men's Parlour is a straightforward, no frills barber shop. I did see one sink just in case someone needed a shampoo. There were plenty of customers waiting but I got in with David within 10 minutes which is about how long it took him to cut my hair. A barber used clippers. A hairdresser uses scissors. Still searching... Don't get me wrong. This place is an excellent barber shop and the vibe is cool. It's just not how I wear my hair. read more

One of the best places to get a haircut in all of California. $20 for a haircut and 5$ more for a beard trim. Nobody cuts like they cut however if long lines aren't your thing, this place might not be where you wanna go because perfection takes time. read more

When I lived in the San Fernando Valley I couldn't find a good place to get a good haircut. I found Marco and for 2 years I've been going to Marco ever since. I now live in San Diego, I make it a point go get my haircut whenever I need it. Good luck getting in. I've had my haircut done there once and it was a good cut. I've tried to go back a few times now and I can't figure out when they are open. I'm not sure if these guys just moonlight there or if they actually have a schedule. I'd go back but never know when a good time to go is. I ran into a guy in the parking lot walking away from the door and asked him if they were open and his response was "I don't know when they are open, I've been here twice now and nobody is ever here, good luck". So I guess I'm not the only one wondering what hours they are actually open. read more

I have had a beard for years and decided to grow it out. It had been 4 months sense I started to let it grow out and wanted to get it trimmed up a little bit to help the growth of the beard. The gentleman that trimmed my beard took too much off in length. I asked to have it lined as well and I Thought that he would have used a straight razor not his clippers. I'm vary unhappy with it. Puts me back 2-3 mouths in growth. Will not be going back or recommend anyone to go here. read more

Had always gone to Supercuts before for my haircuts but started hearing from all my friends about this one barber in Simi. Seemed like everyone went to him. They all swore by him so thought why not go and see what all the hype was about. I met the owner Marco as soon as I walked in as he was ringing up a customer and sat down. There were a few people ahead of me but he told me it wouldn't be too long of a wait. Sure enough I got in the chair in no time, told him what I wanted and he went to work.
