Unfortunately I'm in the market for a new suit due to the upcoming funeral for my father. I went to Men's Warehouse after not having purchased a suit in years. We were greeted by Joanne Kraynick who, once she understood the situation, took it upon herself to make my experience the most enjoyable and least painful one possible. She was understanding and kind. She made knowlegable suggestions and walked my wife and I through the process. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't recommend her enough. UPDATE: Per the response to send an email to MWlistens@menswearhouse.com I went ahead and did that. I had a great back and forth with a kind woman named Alice and we discussed training and how to prevent experiences like mine from occurring again. They really did listen and care that I am satisfied with the resolution. I wasn't going to write a review but the more I think about my experience at this store today the more I don't want someone else to have to endure it. My fiancé and I went looking for, potentially a rental or purchase for our upcoming wedding. I know my fiancé can be a little difficult and he has high expectations for what he wants for the wedding. However, at one point I made a suggestion of a vest only option and the saleswoman took it upon herself to tell me what I "have" to do at my wedding because the dresses are floor length and formalities and blah blah. I listened for a moment before finally interrupting her to remind her that I/we can do what we want at our wedding. She then attempted to explain that it's her job to coordinate these things. She also mentioned how the pocket squares and ties have to be the same color as the bridesmaid dresses. Again another thing we don't want. We aren't a traditional couple I guess and maybe some of you will read this and gasp at my ideas for our wedding but it's not her job to coordinate my wedding. It is her job to sell or rent us the suit/tux we want. Also it is not her job to tell us the suit or tux we have to have. I truly felt offended and put off leaving this store today and if we do opt to rent or buy from Men's Wearhouse it will not be this location. Two stars because there is a good selection and there are a lot of options. I will give her credit for showing us many other options. And I won't post names because I absolutely do not want anyone to lose a job over my single experience. read more

Needed to update the suit options in the wardrobe. Picked up two custom suits that look and fit great, along with some accessories. They lost a star by not mentioning there would be a sale in 2 weeks...yeah, I know, they are there to make money...but why not mention it so you keep a customer happy? I'll still use them but in the future, I'll make sure to check on upcoming sales. read more

Only 5 reviews, so I have to weigh in. It doesn't deserve 1.5 stars as an average. Sorry I didn't write this a few months ago! The woman who helped us was awesome with son going to prom. She re-measured him when she thought the measurements didn't look right. She gave us helpful input but not pushy sales. She saw my eyes bug out at the price, but I told my son it's prom once, we're getting him what he feels good in. She discounted us a bit last minute, which I really appreciate. The tux was great, fit fine, all pieces intact. We misunderstood return day's hours, so we were a half day late, but again she was wonderful & generous regards he late fee. So for us. we have NO complaint, they did great at an insanely busy time of year. read more

I just ran by this location in a pinch. I'm on my way to a Conference and my mom and I thought we could fix the issue with my dress and we couldn't. Our uniform company contracts with men's wearhouse so I ran into this location not knowing what to expect. Once I found a free sales person and explained the situation she immediately asked me to get the dress and put it on. The tailor stopped what he was doing and fixed my dress. Fantastic service at this location. Ben spent about 2 hours getting me set up with two custom suits. The store was clean, quiet and organized. I highly recommend this location. Ask for Ben. He is incredibly helpful. read more

We rented here for my friend's wedding. The suit fitted poorly, with the sleeves too short and the shirt too large in the collar. The cost was more than $230, which demonstrates how they take advantage of the wedding industry. When I tried to return the suit the next day, they were closed because I was too late. When I returned it the following day, we were charged a $20 late fee even though it was never explained at time of rental. The cashier could have at least been apologetic about a poorly conceived policy from corporate. I feel little inclination to use them again. read more

I just walked into Men's Wearhouse not 20 minutes ago in the Plano location. Right when I walked into the store, I felt not welcome and beneath the associates in the store. The salesman that helped me was incredibly defensive when I asked a question about a 40% off coupon I had received from my employer. I also explained that I had bought a suit a few years back from another MH store in Idaho and said that since then, the pants had a tear in them, and I was curious to know if they were beyond repair or not. He asked if the tear was off the seam of the pants or on them. They were slightly torn next to the seam but not directly on the seam, down the side of the pants, near the front pockets, which is what I told him. He then proceeded to tell me that to repair the tear, it would cost "around 90 dollars, which is probably worth more than the suit." I am not a wealthy person by any means, so I told him, "Actually, I spent $600 on that suit, not $90." I know $600 isn't much to a lot of people, but it was to me at the time. How insulting. I proceeded to walk over to the shirt section because they currently are buy-one-get-one 50% off, and he just continued to hover around me angrily. Wherever I went in the store (I was trying to get away from him and even said he didn't need to follow me around) he angrily followed me. It got to the point where I was so uncomfortable that I went to the dressing room section and called my wife just so he would give me some privacy. A lady then came out of the office (not to mention some crew members were eating their dinner with the door wide open next to the suit section) and asked if I had been helped. I told her, "I suppose. But I'm having a hard time making a decision, and I need my wife to help me decide. I think I'll come back tomorrow (Saturday)." She said, "How terrible is that? You can't make your own decision without her? That is not a good marriage." I replied, "Um, excuse me, I like to have my wife around as a second opinion when I'm buying expensive dress clothes. It has nothing to do with the quality of our marriage, thank you very much." I finally broke free from the salesman, so I showed a seamstress at the front desk the suit I needed repairing. She said the repair to my pants was actually free, because of where the tear was. I said, "Oh, I thought it was going to be around $90 because that's what I was told by the salesman." Lone behold, the salesman walked over, got defensive and angry, and said that I was wrong for telling him where the tear was. And you know what? It was ME that ended up apologizing for the misunderstanding. Now, why the heck am I, the customer, apologizing? Why did they make me feel so incredibly uncomfortable? Even the seamstress made a rude comment about how much I've worn my suit. Isn't that the point of having a suit...to wear it? Like I said, I am by no means a wealthy person, and I normally have no business being in a suit store, but this was by far the worst retail experience of my life. Do I have to buy my suit back in Idaho in order to feel more comfortable again? I will NEVER walk into that store again. read more

This location is terrible. Went there for wedding suite rentals and after going there 3 different times and speaking with 4 different people no one could get our order correct. We would leave frustrated and annoyed. We tried the Frisco location and it was such a better experience!!! They really took care of us! Highly recommend the Frisco location over this one! read more
