With just 4 days to my wedding, Bushelers made magic happen and fixed the dress. This was after another tailor told me to go to the mall and buy a new dress because this one couldn't be salvaged. They not only saved the day, but did the job quickly and gorgeously. This is the kind of establishment reminiscent of years gone by, where they have really honed both their craft, and also the vibe of the business and customer service. If you arrive by car, street parking is sparse, but there are some spots available. The inside is quaint, but has all the space needed. I walked in and was instructed to go in the back. I was a bit confused, because I didn't communicate what I needed and there was already a customer in the rear. In the back cubby hole, it's the sewing station to the left, the fitting room in front of you and a storage room to the right. I entered the fitting room, put on the pants I wanted hemmed and the owner put one pin in the right leg. By the time I took the pants off and went to the counter to checkout, the pin came out. I had to go and put the pants back on for him to put only two pins on the same side. When I was ready to check out, the cashier took my information and stated I could pay now or at pick up. My hemming was $30 and if I used a card, there was an additional $5 fee. My pants were slated to be ready in 2 business days but they were ready the next day. All in all, Nicky's has been around for a long time based on the pictures inside of the tailor shop. I think his approach to his work and the overall quality has gotten too lax and comfortable.

This was the only location within 10 miles of Baltimore to carry the Latest model of the Iron Rangers in the highly desired Copper color. I shop online. So let me share. I purchased 10 items from Nordstrom. All shipments included a…read morereturn label. It is a pain free process. I purchased from Soma different items and paid with PayPal. Before the final click completing the purchase Soma tells you clearly returns for items purchased online with PayPal must be returned by mail. Perfect I understand before I complete the transaction my return options. Now onto Loft. I purchased three items online. All beach coverups. I then went to return all three. I attempt to use the online system however Loft has designed the online return procedures to make it as difficult as possible. But I note it will cost me $ 7.95 to return by mail and free to go to the store. Once in the store I deliver my unworn items with tags in the original packages. I am told swimwear cannot be returned in the store. I am forced then to pay the return fee and once again try to navigate a deceptive system designed to frustrate a consumer and thus the Return is never complete. That's my first issue. When you are shopping on line it is not made even remotely clear the return policy. Frankly you have to go to three areas of the website to see what the return policy is on swimwear. On the receipt finding the policy at the bottom in the smallest font possible again hides the policy. I find this appalling. Surely all retailers have their own policy. However consumers should be able to understand the policy in a clear openly designed system. I will pay the return costs. I will never shop at Loft, Ann Taylor or any of their companies again.
