The average review of 1.7 stars speaks volumes and is honestly higher than I would have expected based on this experience.

The first time I came in I didn't make an appointment because I kind of just felt like walking around and just taking it all in without being bothered. There's so much beautiful granite to look at! It was actually kind of overwhelming. When I walked in Jamie greeted me with a smile and handed me a little clipboard with a little pencil and explained to me where to write down the numbers of the slabs I liked so that I could get names/prices and then I was off on my own. I really liked that. The second time I went I made an appointment since I had already narrowed it down to a few choices that I thought matched our cabinets/tile. Jamie really helped me make decisions with some of the color schemes. I found the staff to be very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. (especially Jamie.) I think they have some of the prettiest and largest selection of stone in Baton Rouge.

Of course none of the slabs have prices on them they only have the name so you don't know if the slab is $4,000 or $14,000. I'm not complaining about that because that's a good sales strategy and everyone else does the exact same thing.They all make you fall in love with a slab of granite that you can't afford but I guess if you really love it you'll find a way to pay for it. Maybe I can become a "lady of the night" to earn some money or give up my first born child in exchange. They were the lowest bid. But, after I picked out my stone. Ed suggested I order another slab to make the pattern cohesive. Which in turn made my project $1800 more. Then they miss measured the back splash on the breakfast bar. That made the bar part with a 1" gap between the cabinet. I called at least 12 times and talked to "Kelly" who assured me that the owner would return my call. Never received a call. I had to hire a finish carpenter to cover the 1" gap. I took over the receipt for $350. And again called multiple times to ask about reimbursement. Nothing. I paid them over $11,000. For my kitchen counters. You would think they would guarantee their work as stated on their website.

I wanted a quick turnaround and Jerusalem Stone definitely delivered. Other places wanted an appointment or couldn't make it out. Jerusalem Stone contacted me the same day and was out taking measurements two days later. One week later, my counters we're installed. My new kitchen looks great! These guys installed, sealed and cleaned the counters all in a couple hours. Plus Ibrahim and his team are very positive guy with great work ethic.
