I had a group of four where two of the four asked for samples. After given, the next two wanted to try some after they said "that's really good". The worker then rolled her eyes and sucked in her lips. If you don't want to serve customers who want samples, then express that. One of the people in our group of four also asked for a candy coating for the soft serve in which the worker said "we don't serve that anymore". The candy coating option should've been crossed out so customers will not get confused. 2 stars instead of 1 because the soft serve is actually good. But it doesn't make up for the rudeness. Also just found out we got charged more than what was expected for 4 small soft serves. read more

The mango sorbet was very creamy and delicious. We also got pupsicles for our two dogs and they loved it. The employees were delightful. Wish they had vegan ice cream when I visited. read more

Overpriced and ice cream not that great. Other local ice cream shops are much better. No where enjoyable to eat outside. Lots of traffic and not a lot of seating. Tried the moose tracks because they were out of the Iditarod. It was good but not great, nothing special. Also tried the special strawberry sauce, again nothing special. Cash only so that's inconvenient, though there is an ATM on the porch. Lots of seating area though so that's good, but not enough parking. read more

Super disappointed with this establishment. Was here on Monday, April 17th around 7:30. My mom had just ordered her ice cream and asked for hot fudge on the side. She was told they don't do hot fudge on the side. When she told me this I was very confused as I've been to this establishment many times and have had hot fudge on the side. I asked again (a diff person) and was told that they had turned the hot fudge off which is why they couldn't give it. I find it strange they turn off the hot fudge before closing with customers still in line, but said ok and went and ate my ice cream. A few short moments later a man and what looked like his son walked up and began talking to a scrawny man who was inside the establishment. They were catching up-clearly knew one another. Talking about the man's 2 year old daughter and new 6mo old puppy. The customer and his son walked away with ice cream, topped with HOT FUDGE. I walked up to the window and confronted them because my mother had been told she couldn't have it and I had clarified that the clarification I got was the machine was just turned off.... But they made an exception for a customer they knew. Another couple was in line next and the woman confirmed to me that she too asked for hot fudge and was denied it! The scrawny man that claimed he has been working at the establishment for 16 years stuck his head out the window and began a verbal argument with me- he was actually yelling at me. It was seriously the WORST customer service I have ever received. His treatment of paying customers was disgusting. Sadly, we won't ever be returning to the establishment and will be sure to share our experience with others. I've heard that Pinecroft dairy has wonderful owners and amazing customer service- that will be our new spot! read more

Great place. Very good ice cream, many flavor options, creamy but not overly sweat. There are seating areas outdoors and indoors.

Twice they have given me something different from what I asked and my child has had an allergic reaction. I frequent them a lot because my children have dairy and egg allergies and they have 3 vegan sorbet flavors and 2 vegan coconut milk based flavors. The problem is, most of their staff is not trained because on multiple occasions ones have told me that the sherbet is Vegan even though I know it is not. On this last such occasion, I informed them of the dairy and egg allergy, the woman told me to have my child take a Lactaid and I made it clear that this was not an intolerance, this is a severe allergy, she started talking about the sherbet flavors and I had to tell her that actually no, their sherbets are not vegan and they shouldn't tell people that they are, I then specified EXACTLY what I wanted, 1 raspberry SORBET, 1 lemon SORBET, 1 vegan Oreo, she assured me everything would be washed as keeping with their allergy protocol but that there is no guarantee against cross contamination, I said I understood, she then brings me the flavors and I double check that these are SORBET and not SHERBET YES?? And she said YES. The moment my son had a bite he immediately started having a reaction, I grab it and taste and sure enough, it was raspberry SHERBET and NOT the SORBET I asked for. I was LIVID. I called them right away and asked to speak with a manager, I was told he would be back in 20 minutes and would call me back. I received no call. The next day I called again, I was told the manager was busy and would call me when free, I received no call. I finally called a third time a few hours later and asked again to speak to the manager or owner, I was told he tried to call me back but the number must've been wrong (yeah right) I was then basically told that he wasn't going to call me back but the person I was on the phone with said they would talk to me. I thanked them for listening and expressed my deep dissatisfaction at the fact that not only is their staff not trained and someone could actually DIE from their lack of carefulness, but that I was extremely disheartened that the owner basically doesn't care enough to call me back. I wasn't asking for money back, I wasn't asking for anything except maybe an apology and an assurance that they will take the time to properly train their staff so that this doesn't happen to someone else. I've given them many more chances after incidents like this have happened, but this last one is the final straw. read more

Some really good ice cream! Good for the family and lots of options. Definitely worth the money. better than Ben and Jerry's, definitely the one you can buy across the street at Walgreens.
