I remember coming here semi-regularly in their first few years, when the street ended unceremoniously in dirt lots and free parking was easy to find. Times have changed, but the decent beer made here and community feel hasn't. The last few times I've been in have been with some groups. And it's good for that, with the table setups and range of crowd pleasing beers. But it's also not the kind of place doing anything amazing or exciting enough to get me to go out of my way to come back anymore. read more

Was exploring the area and came across the brewery! Drinks: -there were only drinks, no food. I don't know if it was just the time of day we were there or if it's usually like this -options/types of beer weren't too many so was a little bummed about that, but still got a flight! Ambiance: -very big and open! Longggg tables to sit at and was really nice in the outdoor area too Wouldn't mind coming back if in the area and probably would just try a beer and stick to it. read more

You must come here! After exploring Denver and going to many restaurants, my boyfriend and I kept seeing Denver Beer's taps at places. We came straight to the source, and we are glad we did. Everyone was so friendly! The gentleman behind the bar had great conversation with us and made sure our glasses were full after we had a flight and decided to stay for more. There were dogs inside just hanging out. It was decently busy but plenty of open seating. There is definitely something for everyone. My boyfriend and I both got shirts as well! A great selection of merchandise. read more

I was trying to find a brewery in Denver that I hadn't been to before/had elsewhere. One of my colleagues suggested Denver Beer Co because it was close-ish to my hotel. For a Tuesday night it was packed and hard for me as a singleton to find a spot but I got one at the bar. I saw they had a sour on their menu and started off with that, a light sweetly tart beer seemed like a good place to start. Unfortunately, it wasn't enjoyable kind of characterless. I had started a tab, figuring I would sit a while and enjoy myself since my day was done and got up to order from the food truck. I got back, finished the sour and wanted another beer with my dinner. The strangely large Tuesday night crowd definitely hampered the bar staff; it took a while to have a bartender come by much more ask for a recommendation. I managed to get his attention and suggestion. I was thinking of getting one more and maybe get some sixers to go but I wasn't super impressed, with either the beers or the service enough to give them another chance. read more

DBC is a staple that I refer friends to. The beer is great (but a little overpriced). Overall, one of my favorite beers in Denver is the Graham Cracker porter. Today we went for an event they were having - Crawfish Festival. I liked they had beers I'd never tried before (Peach Sour and a Hazy IPA that wasn't the Juicy Freak). I'm also volunteering with American Cancer Society this year for Denver's inaugural Fork Cancer event and I know first hand how involved DBC/Cerveceria are so I will always promote these establishments! The first brewery I went to visit while I was in CO for the weekend. For a Thursday afternoon it was really busy, but there was plenty of staff to get my order right away. I am not very knowledgeable on beer, but one of the staff member was able to describe each beer, which made it easy on me to pick my flight. There was music playing inside and outside. The patio area is a closed off area specific for them only. There was also a food truck outside with plenty of food options. I did not get the chance to try their food, but it smelled delicious. I decided to sit in the patio and noticed there were dog bowls filled with water, so this place welcomes dogs! I do not like dark beer, but I do like peanut butter... they have a peanut butter graham cracker beer that I recommend trying!! :) read more

If you're going to have the name of the city with one of the best beer scenes in the country then you better bring it. Denver Beer Co brought it. First off, love the location of the taproom, loved the decor and the vibe. The bartender was very friendly and claimed it was her first day. I didn't believe her but she did great. She was bilingual too which always makes me happy. It's great to find other Latinos when I'm far from home. Gives me a warm feeling. Okay, now for the beer, I got a flight. Each beer I got made me happy because they were all good. I'm on a brewery tour of Denver and only making one trip to each brewery but this is one I'll consider re-visiting on my trip. read more

...this is another one of those places that though the beer is good the service leaves a bad taste in your mouth in the end. Had a couple beers here with my son and the weather was great. I paid the bill with one of those flip screens added a tip and left. Looked at the receipt when I was doing bills and they had added a tip prior to me adding mine. This is just a shitty way to treat customers. I hope others see this so they don't get screwed too... read more

Great breweries in the heart of downtown! The patio gets crowded on weekends as expected but you can usually find a table inside. They have some board games and often have a food truck outside but no food on location. The beers are delicious and I love trying their rotating selection that you cannot find at other restaurants and bars. read more

Went here for a special event that they were hosting, a beer and cookie pairing. Interesting right? We received 5 large cookies that paired with a flight of 5 beers and I must say, I was a bit skeptical about beer and cookies pairing well. We all know beer and greasy food are a match made in heaven but as it turns out, if you work the right craft beers with the right specialty cookies, the combination can be magical. I wish I could remember all the flavors of each but sadly there was just an overwhelming of my taste buds such that I can only recall pure bliss. Now, on to the establishment because that what this review should really be about. This place is awesome. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is unique. we sat at a long tree slab table. There's also a burger food truck that seems to be permanently inside to offer some good looking food to compliment the delicious beer served. It's a dog friendly establishment on the inside area so you can bring your furry friends. They actually have one of my new favorite beers, a peanut butter graham cracker porter. The flavor is true to the name and so it's perfect for a peanut butter lover like me. Denver Beer Co is a sweet spot! read more

3.5* Visiting from NJ and was in the area and saw it had good reviews. They have an amazing outdoor setup, which makes it great for groups & tons of indoor seating. It was all self seating. They had menus out on the tables as well as a food truck outside the spot. I tried the watermelon seltzer which was good and a beer (can't remember the name, but it wasn't my favorite). Another thing I saw that was cool was that they had tons of board games to play so I saw a lot of the groups having fun with that! Otherwise, it's a really chill spot with good options for beer, etc if that's what you're looking for. read more

Great place to grab a drink and hang out! Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor patio was covered and had heaters as well so you can sit there year round. Tons of drink options from beer on tap to ciders and wine. They even let me try out my cider before getting it! Watermelon yuzu cider: very refreshing and not sweet at all! The carbonation was a bit strong but recommend it for a non beer option! read more

My partner and I came to DBC the first night we got into town. There was live music playing and a 5k that evening that started and ended there (we would have joined in if we knew!). Denver Beer Company- this place is always poppin but I have still been by a couple times. Great beers, always got a food truck outside, they put on many events too. Staff is super nice as well, Joseph was the beertender I remember by his hospitality. Love walking over from my apartment, and Platte Street has a lot of other cool restaurants, breweries, and shops nearby. Love the area of town! read more

I got two different flights of five beers each, and gosh darn it if every one of those beers was solid. They weren't phenomenal with tons of extra flavors, alcohol and hops, but I'm guessing that's not what they were going for, just regular, quality craft beers. read more

We were exploring yesterday just walking around Denver sightseeing and randomly walked by here around 10 minutes before they opened. We sat down a little ways waiting for them to open, as soon as they opened we walked up and took a seat at the bar. I'm glad we found ourselves by the brewery by chance. The taproom has a great vibe to it and the beers we had were good as well. The XI Anniversary IPA was very smooth for the 11% and the seasonal Hey Pumpkin was a great example of a pumpkin beer without being too sweet. Friendly staff and a good variety of styles on draft with some non-beer and non-alcoholic options available as well. If we lived in the area, my girlfriend and I both agreed we would likely be here all the time. A brewery that has been in the beer scene for a long time who know what they are doing. read more

Great selection and some super fun and unique seasonals on draft! It's a nice spacious place with a lot of outdoor seating. Definitely the type of place that I can find myself spending WAY too long at. There are several other places within walking distance which makes it a great place for a day drink/bop around. The day we visited, it was super nice out and parking was pretty easy to find. I definitely recommend visiting and trying a few different beers! One of my favorite Denver breweries! Denver Beer Co has a great location on the adorable Platte Street, walkable to the river and plenty of other shops. The outdoor patio always has a great dog scene, and there is ample umbrella coverage on a sunny day....they even usually have a tub of sunscreen located near the entrance! The interior is pretty spacious with seating options at high tables and the bar. It has always been crowded when I have stopped by. There is usually a food truck located right outside. Denver Beer Co also serves jumbo hot pretzels, which go really nicely with several of the beer selections. Great selection of beers and awesome staff. On more than one occasion, the staff has remembered the name on my tab, which is always a nice touch, especially when the brewery is so crowded! As somebody who enjoys light beers, I have plenty of options at Denver Beer Co. The Pretzel Assassin (amber lager) and Incredible Pedal (ipa) are two of my favorite beers in Denver. For those who enjoy fruity beers, the Princess Yum Yum (raspberry kolsch) is a must try. read more

Loved this place! The outdoor seating was great. They are not only dog friendly, but the serving staff was so overjoyed to have your dog there. The graham cracker porter was *chefs kiss* so good. They also overheard us talking about the Great American Beer Festival and brought over some tasters of their winning brew, their Barrel Aged Japance Off. Our go-to brewery! Haven't had a bad beer here yet! They always have a great selection of IPAs, lagers, sours and porters. The bar tenders are always kind and fast as well. Super dog friendly inside and outside. Usually there are great food trucks here too. We also love the cerveceria next door and their trivia on Wednesday's. My friend and I stopped here after visiting the brewery next-door. First thought, so many dogs! Super dog friendly which I am not used to seeing coming from Illinois (not a bad thing if you are a dog lover!) I did a beer flight of 3 beers. Listed in order from best 1. Graham cracker porter (This was the best beer I tried while visting Denver, this Porter tasted like dessert in a glass, I had to get 12 bottles to go!) 2. French Toast Stout- also good but didn't beat the Porter. 3. Pretzel assassin - tastes great with my pretzel and mustard Photo Op: The outside wall says "Greetings from Denver" and there is a fun light up sign inside that says "Life is Fun." Denver Beer Co is an amazing place to hang out w friends. I love that they allows pup and you can order from their sister beer company cerveceria as well. My favorite is the Michelada on a summer day but I also love the Princess Yum Yum. If you're unsure of what to get, I recommend telling the server what types of beer you like and ordering a flight. Honestly all their beers are yummy! Finally, I do love how safe they're staying during covid. Touchless pay option, masks when your not at your table, and servers wearing their masks as well. read more

I did some research on DBC and I was really excited about my visit. So I came with a homegirl and I knew I wanted the Graham Cracker but the bartender let me have splash of it first. I'm glad he did because I wasn't a fan of it. Then he gave me a splash of a peanut butter beer which to me tasted better but wasn't that great. The bartender was cool and very helpful which is always a plus. So overall this spot was just alright in my book. read more

Awesome location and wide selection of beer! It is in the heart of things and has a lot of outdoor, tent, and indoor seating. Dogs are aplenty and all patrons there are very happy - as is the staff! Really enjoyed how this place was packed! Much better than large, cold, breweries elsewhere in the city where you may be 1 of only 10 people there. Only took a star off bc I felt the inside got a little chaotic and beer line can get long! Almost wish they served from the smaller side of the bar too. Probably not needed many days but would have been nice for on a Saturday afternoon. read more

Although I had waited this long to write about the place, everything I experienced back then still lingers in my brain. Hence, I am taking the time to write about it. I was going to utilize the "stand up bar tasting of however many wines you can sample" at the price of $20. Unfortunately, the bar was full for that. I was thus kindly asked to get a table and do a flight at the price of $10. What? Only $10? Sure, why not!?!? My waiter (young man in his 20's) was most welcoming and kind-hearted. I forgot his name after the passing of the time. His attentiveness was top-notch. After getting a few suggestions and advice from my wonderful waiter, I went with Roussanne and Orange Muscat as white, Malbec, Carignon and Cabernet Sauvignon as red for my wine flight. Let's not forget to mention. Balistreri's wines are all natural Colorado wines with no sulfites, no additives and are not filtered or fined. What's not to like about all that criteria that they can offer. For food, I got the cheese board ($18 as of May 2026.) I looked at other menu items and the prices for them were quite reasonable despite the fact that this place emits very high-end restaurant feel. After all, this is a family-run business that cares about serving people in the community. I feel that this is their way to say thank you to those who support them. In a neighborhood where three different interstates intertwine, unless someone told you about it, you wouldn't think such a place existed in this North Washington neighborhood. I discovered this place while ago. I am not sure why I had waited this long to visit and see it for myself. Better late than never. Palisade is a gem in the western Colorado but it's at least 4-hour drive from Denver. If you want to save some time and spend some quality time at a winery in a beautiful setting, Balistreri is within your reach.

The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

OK so I went to this place with high expectations maybe because all of the other great brewaries in denver. After work me and some buddies were looking for a place to eat and get some good beer. First problem with this place is there is no food menu at all, which is a huge downfall. Every brewary needs at least an appetizer menu. Next after trying the fleight of beers I was not impressed. The beers were not strong enough to taste much like beers. Many seemed to watered down. The best flavor was the gram cracker one but still lacked in great flavor. Me and my friends actually left and went to Ale house at Amatos to start out soley cause they had a food menu. I feel if this place wants to last they are going to first need to add some food choices and secondly maybe add some other local brews to keep them aloat similar to amatos just because I dont know if the ones they have are good enough to keep people coming. I hope nothing but the best for this place but they neeed to make some improvements which I am sure they will but compared to other brew places in devner this is still a little behind. So Denver Beer Co just opened this weekend to an absolute flurry of excitement. I showed up on Friday night for the grand opening and can't remember the last time I've ever seen a bar (or even a club) that packed. The wait was long....but I guess that's to be expected when there's 500 people attacking 5 bartenders. It was worth it though to get a taste of the Kaffir Lime Wheat beer they were serving. I live in the neighborhood so I went back by yesterday and found the best pub scene in Denver, end of story. People were hanging out in the beer garden soaking up the sunshine with their kids and dogs, enjoying a cold one and a good conversation. Good music playing in the background, and the bartenders were super attentive and really knowledgable about the beer. The girl who was helping me knew each beer and was able to make recommendations that were totally on point. Only bummer was that they had sold out of Kaffir Lime Wheat!!!!! If you're looking for a great brewery that's always busy, dog-friendly, and has an amazing patio, look no further. DBC is located in the heart of Denver and it's the perfect spot to enjoy a cold beer with your furry friend by your side. I had the pleasure of being the first customer back after they reopened following COVID restrictions, and I can honestly say that the experience was unforgettable. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I stayed at the brewery with my friend Joe for hours. The patio is always busy, but it never feels overcrowded or overwhelming. Instead, it feels like a community gathering spot, where everyone is welcome, and everyone is having a great time. And of course, the fact that it's dog-friendly is a huge plus. My pup loves to come along with me, and he always gets just as much attention as I do. We stopped in DBC on a Saturday. Crazy Busy! Usually we drop in during the week for our local brew fix and it's definitely more low key. Without going into a "Beer Spectator" rant, I'll just say our crew of brew snobs always enjoy the ever changing menu of fresh brews. Seems like there is always something new to go along with the rotation of standards. And for how slammed this place gets on a Saturday the service is still pretty friendly. The space is a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Denver weather, it's a nice outdoor indoor space with a great patio.... Bonus-the Chile Billy food cart was there. We used the Barrel Room at DBC for our rehearsal dinner, and it was really perfect. The room is a great size to accommodate a decent sized party (ours was a little over 50) and looks really great inside. You have your own bar and bartender so it never gets crowded. I definitely recommend using the space if you have an event where you want a private room but don't want to spend to rent out a whole bar/restaurant which can be really pricey. We used Basic Kneads for the food and they were spectacular also. Afterwards, all our friends met up in the main room at DBC and a good time was had by all. Great all around! read more

I looove the beers here. IPA's are my favorite and theirs are always delicious here. Most important- they change what they are serving all the time. The location is great. yes parking sometimes sucks but you will find that in any downtown location. This place was once a (car) garage and I love how you can see the way they incorporated that. The doors to the patio used to be for the cars to enter, you can see hoses (or something?) hanging from the ceiling. This place is awesome to go to when it's nice out, that's when you will find plenty of seating. I highly recommend! read more

Horrible staff and Denver Beer Co should be called BigBiz Beer Co since they are not out for the little guy at all. I saw the bartender chase a young Girl Scout off her property in the middle of a sale. Prost Brewery across the street supports Girl Scouts and does not treat them poorly. It was embarrassing the way the bartender handled herself with a child. They should be ashamed. Do not support BigBiz-nesses that do not support non-profit groups and young entrepreneurs. read more

We had a really great experience visiting Denver Beer Co. The service was super good and the bartender was really patient with our questions and getting us our beers. The flight of beer was really tasty and we enjoyed all of them. The location is really fun and they have their own food truck on site to serve food. We thought the food was tasty too! The place was packed solid on a Friday night, but they had so many people working that you did not have to wait too long for your drinks. Great location but a little difficult to find parking. This brew pub has an indoor/outdoor thing going on, with giant garage doors open to the street. There's a food truck parked there, for the hungry. It was packed with young folks. It's all cement floor so loud, but not obnoxious. Good beer. read more

This location was much bigger than the original with lots of seating at the bar and in the bar area and there was another room with seating as well. About a dozen beers on tap and we tried four of them. The guy behind the bar was great and we enjoyed our visit.

They have an impressive variety of styles and some really unique beers, like their Velvet IPA series (the Key Lime is a personal favorite). However, the Broomfield location can get so busy that there's barely anywhere to stand. And, fighting for parking there can get tense or involve a long hike. This is not a problem at the Park Hill location. The brewery is in an industrial area. There is not much nearby. There are plenty of parking spots in the lot and tons of street parking. They usually have a food truck out front, and you can of course BYO snacks. We are most often here on weekends and have never had a problem snagging seats at the bar or a table. There is a nice patio area, as well.

We found this brewery online after seeing its excellent ratings and decided to give it a try before…read moreour Mile High Stadium tour, which was conveniently located just down the road. It turned out to be a great decision. We were lucky enough to visit during their weekend brunch specials, offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I ordered the crispy cheese burrito, which was generously sized and very flavorful. I also enjoyed a flight of craft beers that showcased a wide variety of styles, from Mexican lagers to rich stouts. My son was equally pleased with his fish sandwich and fries. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient, and the food arrived quickly after ordering. The brewery offers several seating options, including patio seating, an upstairs patio, and bar seating. Since it was around 90°F that day, we appreciated being able to relax comfortably inside the air conditioning. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. The food, beer selection, and service were all excellent, and I would definitely return if I'm back in the area.
