For years I had heard nothing but good things about this place and so we were eventually going to go and what a great day it was for it. It started off cloudy but the sun came out and all of them were sunbathing and napping. It was such a great experience to be around so many cat lovers of all ages and witnessing everyone's interactions where they would play, run around, or snuggle with others. We ordered some teas and they came out piping hot! We will definitely come back. My only qualm was while registering or purchasing a reservation was it populated an option to send tickets to my Apple wallet but then it went away and there was no email sent that had the same link to send to my wallet. I only received a receipt and the waiver email. I was a little bit worried that we wouldn't get in if I didn't have tickets to scan. I sent an email and message through contact us but never heard back. Luckily it went fine though the day of but would've liked a little more seamless experience on the UX side.

The facility is cute! A downstairs and an awesome upstairs with windows, a large table, chairs, and the cars who just want to get away from it all (downstairs is smaller and busier). I had a lemonade and only stayed 10-15 minutes. I'm glad this place isn't full of cushions like the other local cat cafe I have visited. I think that must help with the hair and likely the aroma too. It does smell like an animal shelter in the combination of animal + recently cleaned scents. This did not bother me. My experience was not what the first reviewer's were, nor would I mind much if it had. (No shade to Karen; she should share her opinion of the place.) Gentle reader, if the cats happen to not be "friendly" or "social," consider that they were recently rescued from the euthanasia lists at local shelters. Maybe they're not used to being in a building with so many people coming, going, and letting them all day... Or being in a room with multiple cats. Or maybe it's just what they are like. Not all cats are extroverted. They can still make great pets. They're purrfect to me! Will be back with friends!

The challenges of the fire almost two years ago would have been enough for many less dedicated to take the easy way out and end their vision when the cats at that location were all adopted, but he listened to the urgent pleas from the community to rebuild. Tom has been the strongest voice to advocate for all downtown businesses and offered opportunities to collaborate with them by selling their goods. After last week's devastating destruction of the partner rescue, Animal Protective League, he immediately stepped up and took in more cats than his ideal capacity to care for, as well as offer to be a hub for collecting donations. This comes at a very high cost, financially, physically, and I am sure must be very emotionally taxing. I would hope that all animal loving members of our community step up to offer back support that TCP greatly needs at this time.
