When we had a horizontal rain several years past, I nearly had my sheetrock collapse near my chimney. Called James Kate, and they not only repaired my entire chimney, but also pointed out five leaks...two by the builder, and three more by previous re-roofs by different companies due to incorrectly installed flashing. Earlier this year, I noticed a ceiling discoloration in the front living area. Again, due to incorrectly installed flashing. They not only repaired everything, but also put in thermal barrier under the shingles. Hopefully won't need a roof replacement soon, but will call James Kate if that occurs.

The leaves had collected in a section over the garage causing water to back up under the shingles which caused water to run off into the garage. Not only did Daniel give me an estimate to fix the problem he got up on the roof with his blower and blew the leaves off so, if it rains again, I will know for sure that the problem was the result of the leaves and not hail damage. There are way too many people that you have to connect with and it gets very confusing. When you try to reach out to someone they never really give you a call back or you get transferred to someone different. The lack of response with this company is horrible. Waiting 10 months to get solar to me is unacceptable. They make it very confusing. Overall, terrible experience and sad that I can not recommend this company to friends and neighbors. They did try to make it better and do have some good plans and some good workers but the people you need to speak with on the phone are the ones that are difficult to connect to.

Unfortunately, dealing with Shahin Haynes made each experience less than stellar but the most recent experience with the purchase and installation of additional residential solar panels was extremely disappointing. A deposit was collected and installation was scheduled without a finalized site plan or documented design approval ever being provided to me. When installation issues surfaced, which were outside of my control, I requested to pause the project until an internal Bullet Energy plan could be reviewed and agreed upon . Shahin bluntly stated that I would forfeit my deposit if we delayed. Being financially committed to a project without an approved site plan is unacceptable. Rather than acknowledging the breakdown in process, Shahin Haynes' response was dismissive and defensive. Requests for reasonable compromise were rejected outright, and the tone of communication was unprofessional. At one point, I was told the company was not making money on a "$5K job," which is not something a customer should ever hear. In addition, Shahin suggested a solution to offset the potential loss of my deposit would be to claw-back Gage Mueller's commission. Again, as a customer, this is not something any "VP of Operations" should communicate to a customer. The installation was ultimately completed and paid in full, but the customer experience was poor from a process and communication standpoint. I escalated these concerns directly to Mr. Vogel, the COO, on December 14, 2025, and followed up again on January 7, 2026. Considering I waited two months for a response, writing a review of my experience is justified. Clear design approval, documented sign-off, and professional communication are baseline expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Bullet Energy Solutions.

They convinced me I needed more solar panels, and said the other two bills would disappear plus I would produce so much solar energy that I should wind up with a surplus. They then had me answer questions on camera and told me when I should say "yes" or "no" (even though it was contrary to what they had just told me.) They said it was all just a "technicality" that the company required me to say those things, but I should not worry. I could go on and on. Then one more person from Sirio came by some months later and basically said the first two should not have promised all those things, and that it sounded like "elder abuse". Then he said he would try to help me get the tax credits I should have gotten, blan, blah, blah. Long story short, I have 3 outrageous solar panel bills, my light bill is still sky high, my electricity provider was changed without my approval, and now all the people who left me their phone numbers from Sirio will not respond to me. Don't be a trusting idiot like me and get ripped off like I have been.
