cute coffee bar that turns into a cozy sit down space with cocktails and drinks complete with dessert. came here at about 10:30 at night and were able to be seated immediately. great vibes overall and a wonderful little spot to end the night especially in worcester which isn't really known for night life. i had a coffee (had to drive back to boston!), and a bit of a brownie and it was delicious. this is a good spot to keep the vibes high and going especially if you have friends that want another place to chat that isn't an alcohol based establishments. i really did like the nighttime coffee shop vibe. wish we came earlier so we could try other desserts as a lot of the ones i wanted to try were sold out.

Amazing ambiance, very chill with background music and a show on the tv. I also really appreciate the hours, worcester doesn't have a lot of places that are open this late. THE BEST ALMOND CROISSANT. Flaky and fluffy. We also got the London fog, delicious. The tiramisu didn't have enough of that coffee expresso flavor. It was airy, it was good but just a little lacking in flavor. Our total came to $30. It's basically the price of breakfast. Quite pricey, I'll eventually be back for the vibe and croissant though!

My husband asked me about a week ago if there was someplace we could go and grab dessert. I'm always reading food reviews and on the lookout for new places to try and I knew Meraki was a dessert bar so I suggested it as we hadn't been yet. We took my elderly mom with us and arrived late on a weekend afternoon. There isn't much parking around there but we found a spot on the street and walked a little way to Meraki. The place is beautiful inside and we were greeted right away and brought to a seating area with a couch, 2 upholstered chairs and a coffee table. My husband and I both decided on Iced Irish coffee and my mom got hot cocoa. For our desserts my husband and mom got the almond torte and I picked the Galaktoboureko ( my favorite). We all loved our desserts and my the presentation was executed beautifully, my mom said her hot cocoa was good, but the Irish coffees were mostly ice and for $14. a piece that ice wasn't very good! Our bill came to $62., a little too pricey for something that was done so quickly! This would be an excellent date place, it's cozy and intimate at each of the tables/seating areas and pretty fancy too.

It's a cute little dessert bar in Shrewsbury, especially if everything else is closed at 10pm! The service is good and the employees are kind. The food is okay! I'm not a sweets person myself, but I got the blueberry cheesecake to try. It was Loke any other cheesecake you can buy at the grocery, nothing special. The waffle I did not eat, my friends ate it. The drinks are subpar. I got the Dulce de Tequila, and upon looking at the picture, I realized that there is not a sugar rim! My friend got the Fizzy Pomegranate drink and mentioned that it tasted watered down. Ambiance is reminds me of Marshalls decor here and there, but the vibe is chill! Come try for a late night place to talk or grab sweets with friends. I'm not sure about earlier in the day.

    White chocolate blueberry cheesecake

Food: we got the white chocolate cheesecake and it was very light on the sweetness, but still enough to fix it by craving for sweet. All the other desserts also taste pretty good. I would recommend the Keylime or the Ferrero cake. Service: the service was really attentive and kind. Chris was very helpful and making sure that we were having a good time. They do add gratuity if your party is more than six people, which I completely forgot that they added that so I ended up tipping more, which is no issue on my part, but that can be some thing that I wish they would tell more people about. Ambiance: it's very chill environment, where you can sit down to have coffee, no matter what time it is. Location accommodation: it's street parking which can be hard to find some and this place is pretty tiny so if you're going with a decent amount of group, I would recommend calling ahead of time to let them know so they can accommodate the space.

My only criticism is the wait time for my Americano. Other than that, the croissant was fantastic, the coffee was indeed very good. Service was friendly but the server could have moved a bit faster. It's a cute vibe, nice atmosphere. We went kinda early at about noon. The other table that came in had 2 people. They were served shortly after we were with fancy looking iced drinks. We got coffee and ordered about 15 minutes before they got there. That said, we felt no rush to leave either which was nice. Maybe that European vibe is what they're going for. But not your place if you're in a rush.

Love the concept of Meraki & obsessed with the vibe/decor. We went in at opening time (11am) & were greeted by a nice server. We ended up getting some coffees...which were absolutely delicious. They don't have a menu posted online so I don't remember what we got. I got something chocolatey & my friend got something with caramel ...& of course we chose whipped cream. We drank that cup clean . I would love to come here to do work/homework during the day, very nice quiet vibe. The desserts are more so things you can get at a store, I didn't try any. I would love to check this place out at nighttime & see how the vibe is.

Finally checked out Meraki Coffee Dessert Bar. Sooooooo good. I had the Berry Lemon Drop Martini which tasted like a sweet tart candy. My bf had the Irish coffee which he really enjoyed. He also got the caramel crumb cake which was very delicious. I got the Apple crisp cheesecake (aka apple pie shortcake) as well as the buffalo chicken bacon ranch cheesecake. Both were delicious. The buffalo chicken one was very unique. I'll def be back to try new desserts and beverages.

That's don't impress me much!…read more That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.

It's got just the right mix of bounce, density, and butteriness, without being too greasy. Big, fresh blueberries (not the shriveled kind). Plenty of crumbly streusel on top for extra taste and texture. Their mixed berry has multiple fruit presence and more of it, minus the streusel. Also very good. Sometimes the muffins are warm. Sometimes a little long in the tooth. -- Cakes: That's their claim to fame, and for good reason. They're more expensive than most, but so dense, rich, and heavy that a small slice goes a long way. My favorite is the chocolate raspberry decadence (pool of raspberry atop a deep, dark chocolate frosting). Or maybe the strawberry snowflake, which is like the best strawberry shortcake you ever had. -- Cupcakes: These often feature some of the same ingredients as the cakes, such as that killer chocolate ganache. Great for the toppings and fillings, though the cake part (especially if chocolate base) is often dry. -- Cookies: Noticeably less impressive, EXCEPT for the Linzer heart. Great flavor and texture in the raspberry and shortbread. -- Coffee: Good stuff. Not elite, but good, in heavy mugs with good feel. Service is a little lacking. Not so much because of rudeness, but because they're perpetually understaffed for the amount of business they do.
