Which, I'd been nervous about after I mistakenly went to a 'holistic' dentist for that, which cost so much, and took very long to redo. I had to go to a perio specialist, then to put my zirconia implant crown on, Dr Edwards did a whole procedure to do that perfectly. And I'm very grateful to him that I can now chew normally and not worry about it anymore. Being born without an adult tooth is no picnic, but luckily there are pros like Dr E to help us out with these things in life.

When I arrive, they tell me they will need an x-ray to fully understand the problem with my tooth. So, of course I agree, as x-rays do not usually entail out of pocket costs. They send me down to this office to have the x-ray because they state they don't have one in that office. They failed to tell me that I would going to a completely different business to have this done. They also failed to convey that I would have to pay costs not covered by my insurance. It seems they have an agreement with each other to shadily drum up business. ***UPDATE*** I called today to get an itemized bill, per Kaiser's request. I was then informed, only after asking for proof of this bill, that the charge had been written off and I no longer owe anything.
