This is definitely off the beaten path, but if you ever have the chance to check out this property…read moreor purchase their products, I highly recommend you do so! I don't believe this farm is generally open to the public, but I had the opportunity to tour the farm yesterday as part of Slow Food's special event. They had beer tastings and a food truck on site for the event, as well as a live band playing on the front porch of the property's home. There were pony rides and hay rides available to visitors, as well. We decided to take a guided tour of the aquaponic facilities and were blown away with the innovation used to grow their lettuce and farm their tilapia. I was familiar with hydroponics, but had never heard of aquaponics until arriving on this farm. Since the lettuce itself never gets wet, and the live roots underneath receive the water, the greens will last up to a MONTH in the fridge. That's insane. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and you could tell they were excited and proud to be displaying their facilities. One thing I couldn't get over was how clean and organized the entire farm was. Very impressed. You can get their products at some local health food stores and markets, and they also provide greens to all of Nassau county school district. Side note: their logo is equal parts adorable and clever.

Took my family here for a fun morning outing and we weren't disappointed. Rows and rows of blueberries to pick (and plenty more ripening each day!) in the good ol' sunshine and fresh air. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and given buckets to keep as we picked to our hearts content. A big perk for me was that this is an organic farm - we had an issue in the past with a pesticide reaction from apple picking at another farm with my oldest child so finding an organic farm was a huge bonus! When we were finished, we headed back towards to front to weigh our buckets and pay (cash and card accepted). It's a very relaxing and fun place for families and very close to Jacksonville. Great place to takes photos too!

We really enjoyed picking blueberries at Morning Belle Farms this past July. The berries were very…read moreplentiful on the bushes, and the prices were very reasonable. But our best experience came a few months later. You see, my son accidentally took off his hat while we were checking out, and left it at the farm. A couple months went by, and I was racking my brain, trying to figure out where his hat could be. I looked through my photos, and noticed that he was wearing his hat in our photos at the farm, but in the last photo, he wasn't wearing his hat. I contacted Morning Belle on instagram asking if there was any possible way they had seen his hat, expecting nothing since it had been almost 3 months since we were there. They messaged back quickly saying they hadn't seen it, but would keep an eye out. Well, the very next day, they sent me a message with a photo of the hat saying they found it and would ship it to us. I was so grateful and asked how I could reimburse them for shipping, but they just said they were glad they found it, and would get it out to us shortly. When the hat arrived in the mail, much to our pleasant surprise, they had also included 4 t-shirts for our family! I couldn't believe how kind they were to go above and beyond, when it was our fault for leaving the hat there in the first place! I will definitely be recommending Morning Belle Farms to all my North Florida friends for the next blueberry picking season! Customer service speaks volumes, and they have an A+ in that department!

Are people sitting side saddle? My daughter is small but put her legs down. Our friend pushed out away from the table. Otherwise, they have long tables-great for groups, high top tables for 2-inside/outside, rockets, cushy lawn chairs by fire pits. So relaxing. Service So friendly, attentive Menu What I love is the changing seasonal menu. If you had the broccoli corn bread-you will love the maycaw cornbread-C and P farm is the largest producer of maycaws in the world-fun fact! It is sweet, dense, corny taste-yum! Served with sweet fresh butter that is air light! We had the lamb sandwich served with a side. I wondered at first glance at the lamb-kind of a lam loaf-not like a gyro, served with mint and something else on the most AMAZING wheat bun!! The sauce-not typical tziziki but really delish. I chose the squash which was sautéed with dill-not my fav but the squash was cooked perfectly. We also had the shrimp and grits-a Jax fav that consistently pleases. Our friend had the chicken with heat sandwich-toasted bun, house pickles/many, slivers of onion, battered chicken breast, with a douse of hot sauce. If you like the heat-this is your sandwich-served with medium sliced fries. Very tasty. There is a separate dessert menu but we were full-satisfied. Re: drinks-house beers, ciders, iced tea-no lemonade, aske for 2 carafes of water as the glasses are on the small size. Note Walk the farm-see the animals, landscape-great walk after or before a meal. Think about wedding or special occasion spot. Summary This is our fav go to place to est esp when headed to the airport-very chill vibe, outstanding food, great service. Love this place!
