Great service, prompt care, and knowledgeable staff. They are as quick as you'd expect at an urgent care (obviously its an urgent care so expecting no wait is unrealistic). My wife went and was in and out with what she needed. Would recommend. Was pleased to know they accepted our insurance since that can be a challenging part of finding somewhere to go too. read more

Don't really care that you're there was there for 45 minutes saying I will be the next patient then I go ask them what's going on. I've been here for 45 minutes then they're like the Wi-Fi is out but we don't know when we're gonna be able to help you then I asked why wouldn't you tell me that so I could've left or came back they said we were hoping you would just wait. Last time I went there. I was pretty sick. All they did was give me ibuprofen. Also, the main doctor seems like he's always loopysie if you what I mean. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

Love how they took care of my mom. The wait was quick, about 15 minutes and the receptionist, Ragen helped my mom register she was so nice. The dr was thorough and informative and listened to my mom. My mom is elderly and sometimes does not get the respect I feel she deserves in drs offices. Not sure why all the negative comments. I wish this was a primary care for my mom. read more

I went in for a cough, and only one of the staff was very nice. The doctor was very polite and nice. However the front office lady's were laughing and very unprofessional. You can hear them talking about there life to one another and are very ridiculously rude, give you mean looks absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. I went to Mercy West Urgent Care for the first time on a quiet Tuesday night. I registered easily online and knew my place in line (#2). I got a phone call before I had even arrived letting me know that it was my turn to be see. The front office staff let me know it would be a minute once I got there. The back office staff was warm and cheerful. The provider I saw was fabulous. Lucas was funny and had me laughing in no time. I was nervous about being there (the mandolin decided I didn't need my finger tip). Lucas easily put my finger back together and got it cleaned up. Don't bother going on the weekend if you have Central California Alliance or Medi cal. They won't be able to verify insurance. But they don't let you know right away. They wait until you've sat waiting for 20 minutes and filling out forms on your phone. Which is a clunky slow process. My son had fever for 3 days, diarrhea, chills, tummy ache, cough, and his throat was hurting. We were seen by Tyler Thompson, he walks in (already looking annoyed) sits down crosses his hands and asks what's going on. I then tell him all the symptoms my son has he presses on his stomach and asks my son if his stomach hurts and says no then claps his hands together and says "we'll at least he doesn't need surgery" continues to say so what else. I again repeat and he goes ok he has the flu. I then tell him he was tested for COVID, flu, and strep all tests were negative. And he goes ya I understand um well ya he has the flu. I say si your not going to check his throat or anything. This "Dr" then pulls out his phone aggressively turns on the flash and checks his throat and says "he's fine". I was so irate! Didn't hear his chest or check his ears NOTHING. I called and complained about the service and asked him if he was the one arrested for DUI a few weeks ago. He of course denied and said he did his best and checked my son!! LIES ALL LIES!!! He was upset annoyed and obviously doesn't care about his job and the care of his patients!!!!! He then called me back (scared him about his dui record) and apologized and said to take him back he can throughly check him. BS I would never go back there. And he refused to give us his License Number!! We are the voice for our children we need to stand up for them at all times!!!!! read more

I took our foreign exchange student here for a routine high school sports physical. They were quick and we had no problems with authorization paperwork. They accepted what I was provided by the exchange student agency. Lucas, the one who did the exam, was absolutely fantastic!!! He was warm and friendly. Wow! Friendly and helpful staff! Was recommended by other local urgent cares in the area and when I visited Emmanuel hospital urgent care as well. Staff were great on obtaining my info took and I didn't have a long wait. Was seen same day and glad to be seen right away. I wasn't feeling 100% healthy lately and glad I made the trip to be seen by the Dr. He was so helpful and knew right away about my symptoms. He asked some questions and advised me about some prescriptions he's going to prescribe. He asked which pharmacy I used and he sent the prescription right away. Couple of hours later, I head to my pharmacy thinking the prescriptions won't be ready or some issue come up (as it's never smooth when Drs. Submit the prescription electronically or fax. ) But have to say I was so thrilled and happy that my prescriptions were ready and was able to use them right away! I'm feeling Back to my good old self again. Wanted to say thank you so much and I will call the office soon to let them know how seamless and helpful everyone was! The negative reviews on this place are pretty ridiculous lol. This place is great. The PA was moving pretty fast in her talk with us, and i had to stop her before she left and ask more questions so i understood everything, but thats fine. Once she explained everything to us I completely understand her steps going forward and agree. Everyone on staff was super nice. Super clean. Super comfortable seats... Which matters. 6 hours at Emanuel Hospital in their medieval seats will make you really appreciate a good chair. We were the only ones in the waiting room when we got there. Took us about 20 minutes to be seen and about a hour before we saw a doctor. Not bad at all for a walk in with no apt. 100% happy with this place. They are awesome. Stood in line at 9AM just to be told that I would be called sometime between 10AM and 5PM. I told them all of my covid symptoms and literally almost lost my balance from coughing so much. I explained I live 1/2 hour outside of town, and asked, if it really would be as late as 5PM but was told no, just go home and you will receive a call from the doctor. He has other patients all day long and can only get to test for covid in between patients. Sat at home until 4 PM, and figured I better drive down there to see what's going on. Got there at 4:30 and a "gate keeper" staffer with attitude said, we will call you when it's your turn. She said sometime before 5:30! I asked if you knew for sure my test was going to get completed today, because it would have been nice to start a prescription if I do indeed have covid. She said you will be called when the doctor is ready to call you. I told her it was f@&king ridiculous that they advertise free rapid testing but make really sick people wait all day. She told me not to cuss at her, that she is only doing her job. I said it would be nice if some honesty came with her job. So they must be getting federal money to provide the covid testing but they obviously could care less about those suffering the symptoms. Finally got tested at 4:50PM. They made me sign about six pages of releases waiving liability. I asked about one clause that says I agreed to the procedures should I test positive because the procedures were nowhere to be read. She said just sign your life away. The person who administered the test was actually very friendly. It wasn't even the Doctor! So why the 8 hour wait?! She said to wait around for 15 minutes for the results. Got my results at 5:05PM The doctor called me at 6:55PM. He said he would order me a prescription. He actually sounded very nice. I just don't understand how such a quick procedure took all day long. read more

After my husband lacerated his hand with an ax, we were 1 1/2 hours to the closest urgent care. Anything within that realm was closed or refused to take new patients as they were close to closing. We called ahead and drove 30 min further to find this urgent care. Here, they were welcoming to us, quick at processing us at intake and were clear with how long the wait would likely be. We asked if we could leave for a little bit to get food and they were happy to help us with our time management AND they suggested food places nearby. They asked that we be back in 45 min (no problem). At 30 min, they took the time to call us to let us know we were next in line. Once we were seen, we were taken care of quickly by the nurse and MD and walked out with 5 stitches pretty quickly. They were understanding of our camping and hiking activity and they wrapped the hand securely to get us through the rest of our trip. They knew we were from out of town and sent us to the closest 24 hour pharmacy. The staff at this location was extremely nice and helpful and no one seemed like they were unhappy to be working at 9 pm. We definitely appreciated them helping and we were allowed to return to our trailer to sleep in our own bed at our campsite. read more

It's amazing how you have to wait months for a regular doctor appointment or get a zoom call. People really need the 1-1 these days and the staff here is there for you. Place is filthy. People are rude. we called in advance to explainy 8 year olds sons symptoms.I get there and have to wait in line outside for an hour in the cold. Then told them he has an ear ache and a fever. we get there and they say sorry we can't see him because he has a fever. isn't the the point of an urgent care to see people when they're sick? if they're so afraid of sick people, then just close down and start a different business. The staff (not including the doctors, the doctors are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.) are extremely unprofessional and rude. Upon entering the ladies in the front were making things very complicated to be seen. Even just asking a simple question they had a very bad attitude as if we are supposed to magically know their policy's. They were not helpful and made it more than clear that they just didn't want to do their job. I truly only recommend going to this clinic if it's your last resort unless you want to be treated poorly by the immature unprofessional and rude ladies in the front. There's nothing wrong with this urgent care. Someone complained about a wait time, well, I mean that's kind of how it goes, especially if a place accepts medi-cal... it's going to have more patients waiting typically. So either go to another location that does not take medi-cal and perhaps expedites more quickly... or wait and be patient for treatment and meds like I did last week. I have been putting this off because I thought that my own personal opinions of the place will change. I did my externship here in 2019 I worked my butt off 12 hours a day every day for three weeks. Was taught everything That i thought i needed to know i Came back for a routine TB test on the day before a holiday, I received a TB test. When I got there was seating in the waiting room, waited for 20 minutes or more with nobody else in the waiting room. Finally I was called back, no vitals were taken no weight nothing. Sat in her room for 30 minutes before I was seen again, a MA in training came in along with an employee . I was advised to put my arm down on The stool that the doctor sits in or the counter in which I said could you please put gloves on and a truck where ever I put my arm, I was told it was against policy to do that. First and foremost anybody who sticks me with a needle should have gloves on. Period. Period when I came back to get my results after being called into work I was told that I needed to get a new test done because it was out of the 72 hours. Clearly it was negative the doctor or PA A confirmed it but had to talk to the MA. I understood that but I sat there and listened to jasmine and the other medical assistance saying that I was wrong and that's when she walked in and said remember me it's my world you live in it. I understand the rules and regulations about TB test because I was trained for the best, but I was also trained about patient care and this place does not have it. I would not come here for any reason just go to Emmanuel because there's a difference between good MAs and ones that have been trained to not care about the patient. read more
