First off. It states on Yelp that they close at 7 pm and at 9 pm if you look it up on google maps. Which one is it and why aren't you open until midnight, at the very least? Secondly, my 80 yr old mom went there tonight because she is on blood thinners, got some dental work done which required stitches but as soon as the stitches got loose she began bleeding and for several hours it would not stop. So my mom gets there and they tell her straight up, "we don't know what we can do for you. " uhhhh, how about stop the bleeding...?????? Restitch maybe or use some coagulant agent to help stop the bleeding, or anything that will help! How could you not know what to do??? My suggestion to you all, keep clear of this place unless you've cut your finger and are in need of a bandage.. my personal thought is they may have been near closing and didn't want to deal with her. read more

Gould used to be one of the best medical facilities in the Valley. They have really gone downhill. I've had multiple experiences now that their "doctors" are not competent. One of their drs refused to do anything other than refer my son to a stomach dr after he was having severe pain in his stomach. When i told him I was concerned because it takes months to get into specialists and that my son couldn't even eat he told me there was nothing he could do. He was completely dismissive and refused to do anything other than refer him out. It turned out my son was having appendicitis and had surgery the next morning at an ER I ended up bringing him to. Thank God I brought him he could have lost his life if I had waited. Another dr told my 83 year old mother she was too old to take cholesterol medicine anymore. It didn't sound right to me so I looked it up on AARP who said that elderly patients who have high cholesterol should be on cholesterol medicine. I don't trust these people at all too many bad experiences. I'm changing my insurance during open enrollment this year just so we can get out of Gould. read more

Sutter used to be the go to place, the gold mine for doctors. but now I've been extremely disappointed with my and my children's care. taking almost a day and a half to get a call back regarding a chest x ray to rule out pneumonia for our children. None of our messages being marked at urgent so a doctor would call after calling three times. Seeing a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor which led to no diagnosis and me getting pneumonia. read more

Went there this past Sunday. Was given a little slip of paper and told I would have to go to a different Urgent Care due to my symptoms because it was a respiratory issue. I couldn't get past the clerk at the front desk. There was NOT one person in their lobby. Two clerks sitting there gabbing. Sutter needs to drop the Covid protocols and start taking care of their customers/patients. This is the cold/flu season. NOT everyone has COVID. I did go to Turlock Urgent Care on Colorado. Very nice staff, they were busy. No problem being seen by dr. I ended up having Bronchitis and needed an inhaler. It seems Sutter is doing everything they can to get their Urgent Care closed down. read more

I am thrilled that I once again can utilize the congruent & patient assistive/helpful network of Sutter Health! I've utilized this particular Sutter Health Urgent Care @ least once since residing in Turlock, CA since late 2018. My poor body was feeling so painful from head to toe and I wasn't able to manage that successfully @ home so I entered this Urgent Care. I just felt so icky and unable to wait for an appointment with my PCP the following week. When I was here, there was NO blaring obnoxious music or television going. I appreciate this more than words can say. + I liked how they triaged. + I liked how safe the waiting area is including a physical presence of security people are constantly patrolling the place. Actually, I love this. + I liked how the waiting area maintained a certain level of calmness & peacefulness without having unnecessary screaming, yelling or people watching videos excessively loud without the concern of how that unnecessary sound affects others. + I really liked how CLEAN the entire area was from the front office/waiting area to the restrooms in the exam areas & in the lobby to the floors etc. It was all clean & devoid of unpleasant odor. All of it. + KEY: They have in-house laboratory & radiological diagnostic stations mere feet away from the Urgent Care area; so it's all in-house! With my current health insurance, I must seek these services outside the ordering doc's office and it really is taxing & stressful for patients to have to do this. + I LOVE that If you are a Sutter Health member/patient, your records when seeing other Sutter Health caregivers, etc, are all easily reached & accessible electronically by the Urgent Care team you're seeing so no need to try to exhaustively search for records outside Sutter nor try to recall your last lab draw, etc. I LOVE it! When I say I liked how they triaged those waiting to be seen by medical staff I mean if someone like me had a headache or agonizing migraine & another person fell down the stairs and was favoring a leg, foot, etc. the triaging staff when doing so, would ask if the stair fall person recalls hitting their head. Even if no head trauma is reported or evident by staff, they'd put the fall person in front of the headache/migraine after ruling out potential trauma experienced, potential family and personal history of medical conditions for more urgent medical care for the migraine person. If that makes sense. Quality & accurate triaging is a MUST and an essential, effective & ethical tool & skill used by healthcare staff. We are not at the grocery store nor the pump at the gas station where it's a 1st come 1st served environment. I just learned by serendipitous happenings that I am now allowed by my health insurance, Anthem Blue Cross, EPO through Covered California (I self-fund) that Sutter Urgent Care is now a contracted Urgent Care!!! Nice! Prior to this happening today, Los Banos, CA was the only one even remotely covered by Anthem, and that not only was inconsiderate by Anthem but unethical and unreasonable for insured members like me because Los Banos's lone location was greater than 50 miles one way from Turlock where I reside. I've wound up in the ER more than once in the past few years and I would have rather gone to this Urgent Care as it's so much more practical & affordable for me. I love the Sutter Network; and at one time they were the only healthcare network I used even when I lived in Sacramento, CA. I love how their network functions to serve their patients with quality care and ethical humane treatment. The accommodations in this urgent care are comfortable. I love the Sutter Health Network and I trust them; they've been essential to my health. read more

Nothing worse than waiting for 3 hours be told it isn't an ear infection because ear infections don't cause a pain. (need to me, I wonder what caused the pain all those times I had ear infections.) The best part was when my jaw, which is so tight I can barely open it, cracked as I opened my mouth. The doctor said this was perfectly normal as it cracked on both sides. My mouth doesn't crack when I open it normally so how can this be normal? This place is a joke. I would give NO stars if I could. After calling my son's pediatrics office (Sutter Pediatrics) twice the second time my call was marked urgent. I waited for a call back ALL day to get my son seen. I called again I was advised to take him to urgent care so I did. Our co-pay is $300 for the Emergency Department so Urgent Care is our first step. I get there and they called to the back office to verify if they would see him because of his age he is 3 months old (14 weeks old) and a Sutter patient so they know this well they said they would see him. It's about 6:30pm they close at 7pm well they check him in about 5 minutes later the receptionist says I'm sorry but unfortunately they won't see him because of his age. Well guess what I was advised by Sutter to take him to the Sutter Urgent Care so I did. The website clearly states they treat children 3 months and older! We have been with Sutter for a little over 2 years now and I can't even count on one 1 hand the amount of times we have received bad service from all different departments. I'm officially over this place. I will be taking my families care elsewhere somewhere where we are actually feel cared about. Where I feel my children's lives and well being matter. Please do your family a favor and explore your options before going with Sutter Urgent Care especially if you have a baby. I can't even express the worry I have for my son being sick and I was just turned away like nothing. read more

Literally the WORST urgent care!! My elderly dad went to this urgent care after falling, hitting his head and obviously needing stitches. I called ahead to make sure they can take him and do the care that is needed, they said yes, sat there for 2 1/2 hours just for them to tell us to take him to the ER. They obviously do not care about their elderly patients and whether they are ok or not. He had blood coming down from a clearly open wound that needed tending to only to let him sit there for hours without care and then tell him to go the a hospital ER!? What? Went to see Urgent care. The receptionist was kind and helping. The nurse who took my vitals lacked professionalism and chair side manners so did the doctor. I am a medical professional myself and it's not ok to be unprofessional at work. Nurse was laughing by himself and I couldn't understand why. Doctor did not pay attention to what I was saying and why is my foot hurting. He directly said it was work related drove me away. I told him I did not get hurt at work but he repeated that it is and stood up as if escorting me back to reception. Being a doctor it's just sad that another doctor treating his patients this ways. Zero stars for these people. Just moved here, wasn't sure where else to go in an emergency situation and this place is just down the street. Went in in excruciating pain with no clue what was going on. The people here were not very empathetic and were more concerned with getting my insurance information to go through before I had to ask for a wheelchair because I'm about to pass out from the pain I'm in. When it was mentioned that I use marijuana medicinally and recreationally, BARBARA'S demeanor completely changed. Just because someone uses marijuana doesn't mean they are faking an illness or just there for drugs. I don't use any other drugs, I don't drink and I never go to the doctor unless something is really wrong so the fact that I ended up in urgent care, shaking, crying and praying from being in so much pain should show you I'm not just there for some quick drugs! I'm glad I was transferred to a better, more equipped facility that actually helped me and confirmed what was causing my pain. Never going back to Sutter Urgent Care! read more

Wow. Came here because my son has a rash head to toe. He's a three year old and we want to make sure this isn't contagious or anything to worry about. We get into the "rash room" to have his vitals checked ( no fever) and while they are doing the BP he gets irritated by the machine and throws up a little bit. The person in the room immediately says we can't see him and we needed to leave because of COVID, but no fever, no signs of covid, if they won't see him because it might be covid then why not offer the test to confirm or eliminate it as a possibility...Like what are we doing sutter!?!? We're at the URGENT CARE for a sick kid? Do they only want healthy kids? What are we supposed to do? What if this rash is serious? What if it's contagious and other people he'd been around need to know? Ridiculous all the way around. read more

I am SO disappointed. I went in this morning with a sudden infection. The pain was (is) SEVERE. The doctor sent my meds to Walgreen. Walgreen did not have the pain medication in stock. At 11:00 am I called to have the doctor call my rx in to rite aid. The pain was so severe I was crying on the phone with the receptionist. She put a message in. 12:00-call back, nothing's been done. 2:00-call back, nothing's been done. 3:00-call back in tears, nothing's been done. Receptionists marks message as URGENT. 5:00-call back, nothing's been done. 6:00-call back, nothing's been done. 7:30-call back, urgent care closed. Nothing's been done. Try again tomorrow. Really?! Multiple times I told them my pain level was off the charts. I was shaking and vomiting. No one cared. No one made any effort what so ever to give me any kind of medical attention. I've been going to this Sutter for 10 years. Thank god there are other urgent cares in Turlock. After today's utter lack of compassion, care and respect, I WILL NOT be returning. We love Dr. Magoon and the staff at the front desk when you first come into the building however the lab needs MAJOR work. Checked in at 7:40 and wasn't called back till 9:02am. By the time I was called back I had to use the restroom so the technician told my wife to have me knock on the door when I was back. A matter of 2 minutes passed when I knocked on the door and of course no answer again. Finally I was able to catch the door when another patient exited only to find the reason the lab is so behind because the tech was inside leaning against the wall on her phone. read more

Updated review: after my visit, I feel as though I should post something new. My last review showed my disappointment In a single doctor and the lack of consistency amongst all the doctors at the urgent care. With some doctors I was able to get my meds without a contract and with her I needed it. I was very upset that I thought I was going in to get relief and didnt. Now that I have a pain contract, I don't need to deal with any of the issues and all the doctors just follow that instruction. I had previously loved this place until my very last visit. I am so disappointed due to one doctor. Every other experience has been wonderful but this. I went in to get a shot for my regular migraines. All the doctors know my history and know I get them every few months. The last time I went in was 6 months ago and this doctor quickly told me all she could do was give me a shot version of Ibuprofen. She was rude from the time she walked in and tried to see what was wrong with me. because Sutter is suppose to plus me. In addition, the last time my mom had to visit there, this same "doctor" raised her hands in the air and quickly rushed her out of the room without even looking at her telling her she had herpes in her eyes. My poor mother was mortified and rushed to her eye doctor where he told her that whoever sent her to him was a fool because it was a minor infection. Throughout the years we have been blessed with wonderful professional loving care by everyone that works there. My nurse (Sophia) and physician (Dr. Kobrine) were both polite, courteous and respectful. My concern was addressed efficiently and appropriately. Love the building in which the urgent care is set, it's clean, large, has a lot of seating & plenty of staff members scheduled to check patients in & out within a decent time frame. Wait times really depend on the volume of patients & doctors scheduled in one day which is to be expected. When compared to emergency rooms, said wait times are far more reasonable. I have only been to this location once & the doctor who saw me was very thorough when reviewing my history & the medication she prescribed was very effective. Not to mention, she was very compassionate to mot send me to the ER for a post procedural complication (the ER is for life threatening matters & this definitely wasn't one of them) I'm grateful that I didn't have to wait the long emergency room hours! If I ever have an urgent issue again I will definitely come back to this location! read more

Since I can never get in to see my PCP, he told me to go to urgent care ,so last week I did and the doctor put me on a Z Pac and cough syrup. Said to come back if not better. Almost a week later I'm not better ,I'm coughing and have a fever back again my chest feels very congested. So I go back to Urgent Care where I wait 2 hours and I tell the nurse that my chest feels congested, and I'm no better. She tells me they need to do an EKG! WHAT???? it's not my heart that is the problem, when I get a cough like this it's pneumonia i worry about. I just wanted him to listen to my chest and see if i needed an xray! So then an RN comes in and says the doctor won't see me that I need to go to ER. Why? Because your chest is heavy! Well could he please come listen to my chest and see if I need an x ray. No you have to go to ER. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!! What is urgent care there for. To make me wait 2 hrs and then refuse to see me when he told me to come back if I was not better! What harm would it have done to listen to my chest and then discuss it. There is something very wrong with your protocol!! I have a PCP that is only available to me once a yr. Because I make the appointment a year in advance. He tells me if I'm sick to go to urgent care. I go to urgent care and they won't even see me because I made the mistake of saying my chest was heavy!! I go to ER, there is standing room only 4-8 hours to be seen for something that is not an emergency and should have been taken care of by my PCP.......... This Urgent Care is a joke. Three times we have been here in the past year we have seen a Dr. one time. The other two times we didn't even get to see a Dr. a nurse practitioner comes in and says the Dr. recommends you go to the hospital for labs. I ask why they couldn't do labs there. "The machines are down." So I ask if they could write the orders and we will go to the Modesto location to do the labs. "No. You will need to be evaluated by a Dr. there." What a joke. read more

Awful. What are they their for? I took our son there after an accident because of injuries that developed and the MA took all the history and then proceeded to try to diagnose his problems then she said she would get the doctor. The doctor came in and had no history given to her, she never introduced herself and simple said " Every shift we get something weird and your it". Thanks for easing our concerns. Later that day my mother went in because she awoke with a swollen knee and pain. Her PTP told her to go to the urgent care because he couldn't see her today and get an X-ray. We went to the urgent care and once again the MA took our history, gave a differential diagnosis of a blood clot, went to talk to the doctor and came back and said she needed and x ray and ultrasound and they could do that, she had to go to the ER at the hospital which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. I knew she didn't have a blood clot and had they examined her they would have realized that fro The start. Thanks for nothing! I ask again what are they their for? Horrible! read more
