However, when the second steak came out it appeared grey on the inside and had a very unusual texture. It was grainy and fell apart very easily, almost as if it could be cut with a fork. The texture and color were concerning and made the steak difficult to enjoy. Unfortunately, after eating some of it I began feeling sick and ended up having to leave early. I'm not sure if the issue was with the quality or freshness of the meat, but it was a very disappointing experience. I do want to note that the seafood my family ordered was actually very good and everyone else enjoyed their meals. I would rate the seafood around an 8/10. That said, I hope the restaurant looks into the quality of the red meat being served so others don't have a similar experience.

It was creamy and hot and delicious. The hushpuppies, of you are a hushpuppy fan were a must order. The arrived hot and very crisp coating with a moist interior. They come with a honey butter which really put them over the top. My spice got the grilled shrimp with shoestring potatoes. The shrimp were grilled perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Reservations are recommended for peak service times. There plenty of parking in the back if the lot in front is full.

The clerk didn't waste time with pleasantries. The food takes awhile to prepare. I waited about 15 minutes after I ordered as they fresh bake the crab cakes. A tip jar sits by the cash register. The place is cute inside decorated in a harbor/seafood theme. There are 5 tables inside and 2 counters that seat 4 people each. It's the kind of place that you'd meet a friend for lunch and a beer and hang out. There are a couple of Adirondack chairs out front. A tv monitor was playing basketball reruns.
