    Flight of cider

Obsessed with this spot! Our bartender was friendly and helpful with cider suggestions, the cider itself was great, and it's in a fun area to explore downtown Boise. The pumpkin cider was my favorite, definitely recommend it if it sticks around after Fall.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the ciders at this cider house. The atmosphere was casual and the workers are very friendly. We loved the ciders. Some of our favorite included apricot sage, snakebites, black currant crush, and Bannock Street Crush. We didn't quite like "Uncharted". It didn't quite take us in the journey that we were expecting. However, everything else was top tier. I would highly recommend coming here for a cider flight. The cider flight was affordable at $13 for 5 small glasses.

If I lived in Boise, I would come here all the time! My husband and I were in town visiting for the weekend. I loooove cider and could not pass this place up! The guy working was super friendly. He gave us the rundown of all the cider options--20 to choose from! 11 are made by Meriwether, they are the taps with the red handles on top. He had great recommendations and feedback to help us make our choices. We had to do a flight to try several of the options. They have cool wooden flight boards that come with little icons by each slot to designate which glass goes with which cider written on your card. I tried 4 Meriwether ciders: Strong Arm, Black Currant, Bannock Street Buzz, and Rosé. Plus one from a different cider place which was the Strawberry Mojito. All of them were delicious! My favorites were Strong Arm (a classic semi sweet cider) and Black Currant (perfect for warmer weather and spring vibes). My husband's favorite was the Winter Warmer which a bourbon barrel aged cider. We were also big fans of Bannock Street Buzz which had notes of cinnamon and would be great around the holidays. We enjoyed having our flights outside on the patio on a warm spring day. We ended up buying a four-pack before we left! I will definitely return next time I'm in Boise!

Perfect for anyone who loves cider! They had a ton of flavors - even a hot cider which was interesting. No food though so don't expect to eat there. It's a little smaller but they have extra seating upstairs. We went for trivia night on Tuesday and it was super fun! The host was funny and bartender was really nice! Definitely a laid back atmosphere and great to go to hangout and talk with friends.

What a great surprise to walk in on a night with wonderful live music and discounts on growlers! Such a pleasant surprise, very friendly bartender and other patrons. Small place but clean and comfortable. Did not have food but there was a food truck at another business down the hall, some people got food from them and brought it over. Dog are allowed. Cinders are wonderful. The strawberry cream was delicious as was the all the ciders on a flight. Took home a growler of Speakeasy, we will be enjoying that on Saturday afternoon!

My flight of ciders! Note the detail of the symbols to signify what you're drinking!

Was in town and wandering around and stopped at this Cidery- no regrets! Locally owned and made I enjoyed my time at Meriwether and have since recommended it to anyone passing through Boise for great hospitality and good cider. I came in the evening before trivia night (couldn't stay but seems fun!) and was going to try some mulled cider- when one the owner/bartender saw I wasn't a fan was nice enough to offer me other things to drink- which made me appreciate this establishment even more. I tried the fruity flight which for $12 and generous pours was a great way to go! It had in house brews and also two selections outside the brewery which I appreciate. I loved the drinks here so much I bought two bottle to take back with me! I'm officially a plan and hope to come back soon- keep up the great work!

Had a great time here enjoying ciders with my boyfriend. He really enjoyed the pineapple habanero cider and he is not generally a fan of ciders. They had a fun music bingo game going on, which gave us something to do while we relaxed and enjoyed our ciders. The bartender was really nice and a fellow Caamp fan!

On a quiet stroll in downtown on a Sunday afternoon, and my friend and I both stopped at the corner and said "Do you wanna grab a drink?" at the SAME TIME. We knew it was time to try Meriwether. Upon entry the space is clean, bright & even has an upstairs for more space. Andrew was very informative and kind. (and he had BEAUTIFUL HAIR). He answered our questions and explained that even the "out of town" ciders were from Corvallis - so still pretty local. I was hooked. I tried the Bourbon Peach and YUM!!!!!! "Juice from hand-picked Washington State peaches is married with the richness of Dry Fly bourbon barrels to give this cider a deep vanilla and plum character. This creates the perfect balance of sweet, ripe peaches and tartness of green apples. A touch of oak tannin finishes this cider off perfectly." If that doesn't want to make you go right now I don't know what will. Sit outside in their expanded area and enjoy! This place is doin' it right! We will be back!

TLDR solid cider bar. Would come back again. Came here on a Friday afternoon with no issues finding street parking. Located downtown right across the street from 10 Barrel Brewing if you in the mood for brewery hopping. Place felt a little cramped but there was plenty of seating indoors, outdoors, and upstairs. Lots of window seats! The flights and ciders are all well-priced and tasted delicious. My favorite was probably the Meriwether Cider Strong Arm and BlackBerry Boom. The Hop Shot was interesting because it actually tasted pretty sweet. They provide you with a flight card to indicate which cider is which; overall a really cute presentation. Water station was available in the back. I also saw some bigger bottles available to take to-go. My only complaint is that there is only one bathroom stall lol. I also kinda wish they had games or something for guests to play. But all in all this is a solid cidery and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!

I saw this quaint little cider house and just kept on a walkin'. Then I thought, why could I be missing? So I turned around and checked out the menu. I was intrigued by the large selection of fruit coders, hopped ciders, and other local beverages. I chose the blackberry cider. It was just as I expected. It had a pleasant tartness while carrying the blackberry flavors through. Not to acidic or carbonated. Very drinkable and smooth. I made a wise decision for a young padewan! The establishment is small yet cozy. They have patio seating or open air window seating so you can enjoy both the weather and your beverage of choice. Try it, you'll not regret it.

Have you not stopped into Meriwether yet??? Why not??? This locally owned cidery is definitely my favorite in the Valley! They are continuously blowing me away with their new innovative concoctions!! Bring your taste buds here...they will thank you! Some of my favs are...Into The Woods, Normandy, Cranberry, Pineapple Habanero, Blackberry Boom just to name a few. Come do a flight so you can sample all the yummy flavors! The atmosphere is amazing(in both locations), the staff is always friendly and they know EVERYTHING cider. I also like how they have other ciders on tap as well from Washington and Oregon to try. GET HERE IMMEDIATELY!!!! :)

Excellent cider selections! Can on a Sunday afternoon and this place was pretty popular. Tried 2 custom flights and was impressed with the quality and variety of ciders. Some of my favorites are: Tieton cider works: cherry notes, not too sweet and not too sour. Just right! Grumpy scrumpy: very Apple forward, also not too sweet. I can't taste the alcohol so it could get dangerous ;) Longdrop cider vanilla honey: tastes exactly like it sounds, very strong vanilla and honey flavors. Very good for a dessert cider. Cranberry Crosscut: well balanced between tart and sweet, ruby red color, easy drinking I would highly recommend this place!

Peaceful Belly Farm - Spinach dip bread bowl in Acme sourdough loaf

Within the last week, I lost a very important member of my family. My fur Baby Lulu. I had her for…read more17 years and 2 months until I had to say goodbye. I am so sad, and know that I will be for quite a long time , so to ease the pain a bit and help me to stay busy and keep my mind off of losing her, my very beautiful friend decided we should go to Peaceful Belly Farm and relax, have some delicious food, be in nature and around positive people with a beautiful ambience. Of course Peaceful Belly delivered as always. We decided to have a gorgeous glass of Viogner, and thought it would be nice to split a few of the dishes to share. We started with the spinach dip bread bowl, with farm, fresh spinach mixed with a three cheese blend served in a Acme sourdough loaf. The dip was so yummy, creamy and heartwarming, and there were so many layers of flavor. It was just the right amount of salty and the texture was wonderful. It was served in an Acme sourdough loaf which is always delicious. They cut up the top portion of the bowl into small pieces so that we could easily dunk the bread into the dip. It was the perfect way to start the meal. I don't think there was much left of that when all was said and done. The second dish that we decided on together was the deviled eggs. They were beautiful, fresh, farm eggs that were nice and cold and the yolks were whipped beautifully with dill and garlic filling. Garnished on top of the eggs they served this insane, brown sugar, caramelized McIntyre bacon. There were some gorgeous, delicate, yellow, edible flower petals on top which took it over the top aesthetically. They were perfect. It was a serving of four and it was just enough for my friend and I. Last but not least, we had a dish made from homemade chorizo from the James Beard nominated Chef, Dan Ansot of Ansot's Basque restaurant in downtown Boise. It was phenomenal. Made with warm saffron stew that had carrots and sweet pepper, onion and garlic on a creamy polenta base topped with his Basque chorizo and grilling cheese (which is one of my favorite cheeses ever!) It was spicy and so complex. We really enjoyed this dish tremendously. Our server Kayla was wonderful. She checked up on us often, but not too often to make sure that we were enjoying everything and asked if we wanted more wine. The dishes came out in a timely manner and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The atmosphere is gorgeous set in an open space full of greenery and flowers and food growing all about the property, not to mention all of the gorgeous black and white sheep that are grazing peacefully around the restaurant outside. It was a perfect day with a perfect friend with perfect weather and really helped me to set aside the sadness I felt from losing my sweet little fur baby, even if just for a little while. The inside is impeccably clean and a bright open space with plenty of tables. They have a ton of gorgeous dry flowers from all over the property hanging gracefully from the ceiling and they always have fun artwork hanging on the walls. I will always return. They do a good thing for the community and they have a gorgeous space with beautiful food and people. Thank you for helping me through my grief. See you soon!
