I'm long overdue in writing this review. I've been coming to Merli for over 7 years now. I was one of her first clients when she started, and I haven't stopped coming since. It's been amazing to watch her business grow -- from a one-woman operation to a thriving team of talented staff. The expansion alone speaks volumes about not just the quality of her work, but also her dedication to excellent customer service. I've always been beyond satisfied with my lashes. Every visit is such a pleasant experience -- you're greeted warmly the moment you walk in, and once you lie down, you can truly relax and forget about the stresses of daily life while your lashes are perfected. I will never return to this place again. I had my lashes done by "young Mary" four weeks ago for $125/full set. Went back for another full set 4 weeks later and she charged me $160 without ANY justification. Literally did the same thing. Ridiculous. Customers be aware! read more

Came here a few days ago after seeing their IG. As others have mentioned my lash line hurt & my eyes were burning. The tech told me it's bc I have sensitive eyes. I've had my lashes done a million times and this has never happened. Nor is it normal for lash extensions to be painful. If they're painful it means they weren't done correctly. I had mine removed elsewhere & the tech told me my lashes were glued together & way too much glue was used. I also asked for a very natural set & got a volume set that was dramatic. And to top it all off this place is so unsanitary! They use the same pillows for all clients & don't use covers in between clients. My lash tech didn't wash her hands. And during my set she was constantly on her phone. Not only is it completely unprofessional to just text every 5 mins as you're doing a client's lashes but you're touching your dirty phone & then my face & eyes. She would rub the tweezers on the pillow as well to clean off the glue. That's how u give someone infections. I don't even know what else goes on that's not seen. I'm an RN so I'm big on sanitation. Even if the work had been good which it wasn't I wouldn't step foot in here for that reason. read more

I drive 45 mins each way to come here. These ladies are a ray of sunshine! They are perfectionists and always do an amazing job. The glue is never chunky or showing and the lashes are very high quality -not like any I've put on at other places. They are the best in the business! read more

Unfortunately my lashes kept falling... so I was kind of upset even tho after they replace what was falling but I went somewhere new and my lashes have not fallen out this time... by the way Merli tried to say it was because my skin was so oily when I dont have an oily face I personally think it all depends on the QUALITY & PRODUCTS (cheap) they use.. But for my experience I would highly suggest do your research first choosing just anyone or because they have a lot of followers in IG... I found a different girl with same prices as them and her work is amazing is one on one and my lashes have last... *FYI they have up to 6 clients in one room along with the technicians total of 12* too many ppl in one room!! read more

Prior to making an appointment with these girls on Instagram, I asked for a price list of their lash extension services. I liked their work on their page and made my appointment with Meri. Upon arrival, I was told that I would have a different lash technician, Lilit. Fine- there was not much I could do at this point. Now naturally I have sensitive skin and am allergic to specific to ingredient products. I don't think my technician understood when I asked her about the type of lash extension glue she would be using and whether it is hypoallergenic. A sensitivity test was also not done to see whether I would react to that specific ingredient. Thankfully I am not. We discussed about the style I was going for- a classic, natural set, and essentially a style that would match my eyes. I am satisfied with the way my lashes came out; however, the quality of the work or the set I was hoping for did not reflect the price in which they are advertising. I understand certain products are expensive and they work with delicate parts of the face, but better communication with the client would help as far as the final look and any changes in the look resulting in the final price point. These girls lack communication and customer service skills. I am not penny pinching by any means; I have paid more for lash extension services in the past, and have no problem paying more. Better communication from their part would have been nice. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Not only great customer service, also their work combined with! Every time i come get my lashes done with lashes by Merli I'm always getting compliments on them! There's never been a time where I've been disappointed at their work, it's just art. I've tried so many other lash spots and no one does it better like them honestly! I get my lashes done by Meri, not only is she incredible at what she does she is extremely kind. Everyone who works there is very warm and welcoming, they all make you feel comfortable! I also started getting my eyebrows done by Satty, she uses tweezers which is hard to find in LA. We're in the process of making my shape the way we want it to be. I really wanted to love this place because the lashes they post on their Instagram are so pretty. Maybe it was the lash tech that I had, but I left unsatisfied. The worst part about the whole experience was the application of the lashes. I've gotten my lashes done many times before so I know what to expect. There were a lot of times she was stabbing at my lash line to the point it felt like she was poking my eyeball. She also kept plucking lashes she applied (I'm assuming when she made a mistake), and it felt like she was pulling off one of my natural lashes. It's been 3 days and my lash line still hurts. I honestly debated having them removed the day of bc my eyes hurt so bad. I also had showed her a picture of what I wanted, and the style is not what I had showed her. I understand styles will look different on different eye shapes, but she didn't really follow what I asked. The only reason I didn't give this place 2 stars was bc the lashes are wearable, just not what I wanted. I wanted to like this place, but I don't know if I'd return. read more

The purpose of this review isn't to bring the business down, it's so hopefully the owners can read it and better their customer service. I got my lashes done exactly a week ago by Lilit. I txted them today to let them know more than half my lashes have fallen and the other half is twisted and goes inside my eye. I told them I have events this weekend and if I can go back to get it fixed. I did not talk about money at all and if they acted like at least they care I would have gone in and compensated them for their time. But, without asking to see photos or at least acting like they care they told me they can't fix it and that I should go in for a "fill." You're making your customers feel like you only care about money and you don't care if you provide good service. With a business that has so much competition like eyelash extensions proving good customer service should be your number one priority. read more

My lashes turn out amazing and last forever, I literally get them done and fly out on vacation for over a month and my lashes still look great, even with all the pools and beaches I visit. They are the kindest and sweetest girls, I literally just want to go there and hangout with them even when I'm not getting my lashes done lol.. The place is beautiful and clean and so warm and welcoming. Every time I leave from my lash appointment, i'm more satisfied than the time before. There are so many different styles to choose from and I get what I ask for every single time.
