Pizza is decent, but don't order online. We ordered from the online website and it said it would be 45 minutes. 1 hour and 10 minutes later nobody has arrived with our food. We called and spoke with the manager and had nothing to say but that he was sorry. When he found out that we ordered online all he could say was that he doesn't control the online ordering and that it's out of his hands. If you can't control the online ordering and approximate time that is given, then maybe you shouldn't have online ordering. You may be busy during the summer, but at least give a correct estimation of when the food is going to come. The food ended up taking 1.5 hours to arrive (2x the length that was given when we ordered). When you order from them and they give you the time of arrival, it might help to ask them when it will actually arrive. read more

Pizza was awesome! We got a large pizza, half buffalo wing and half pepperoni explosion! We also split a Caesar salad. Definitely enough for two but was only okay, nothing special. Marlin's was casual and quaint inside and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was ok.. kinda slow but the poor waitress was serving the whole dining room herself so it was understandable. Our food came out fresh and hot so we were happy! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good pizza! read more

People swear by this pie here in Destin and I sh*t you not, you can do better in the freezer aisle at Winn-Dixie. Wifey and I got the thin crust with three topping. I picked up. It was $20 and it was terrible. The crust was like cardboard. The toppings were meh. Probably the most disappointing pizza I have had in a long, long time. I will try the regular one next and will update my review if the experience is different...as if anyone REALLY cares what the hell I think and is staying in their home until that review posts... ;^) read more

Great pizza & great service. The pepperoni cheese bread was amazing, can't go wrong ordering that. I preferred it over the pizza but only because I prefer milder sauce than was on the pizza. The cheese bread does not have the sauce, so I enjoyed it more. The store location is such that we would not have seen in or known about it if we hadn't looked on yelp for a place to get pizza. The outside windows have blackout shades on them so at night you can't really see inside when walking up to it. Almost would assume from the street that it's closed. All in all it was very good and I'd recommend you check Merlin's Pizza out! read more

I called to place my order and the guy was very confused taking my order. I called an hour before to verify that you can split the type of sauce on each half of the pizza. Well this was very complicated for this guy, but we got through it. They told me 20 minutes. I show up at 20 minutes and the owner reads the order back, and it is completely wrong. So after two remakes and 25 minutes later. I had my pizzas. No apologies, no nothing. It would have been a two star, but my kids really liked the pizza. read more

Pizza was not great. It was very dry. My main problem was the delivery driver.. I'll give you a hint, his English is not super clear sounding... anyway we tipped him after giving us the pizza then a few minutes later he came to the door knocking. The pizza is pretty freaking good. The waitress very nice and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and smelled nice. Pizza is very cheesy and saucy. Burning my toung was worth it lol. Best part is you can have a beer while you wait. Only down side is the guy who answered the phone sounded like life sucked and got my order wrong, hence I ended up paying close to $50 for 2 adults and a 7 year old. My husband and I decided to have pizza delivered to the room. We saw that a lot of reviewers had the seafood pizza. I'm very particular about my seafood. I don't like it to be too "fishy" or have weird textures. We ordered a small thin crust seafood pizza and a large buffalo pizza with medium sauce. They were fantastic!!! I was pleasantly surprised. We have ordered Merlins Pizza in the past on our visits to Destin and have been well satisfied. We like thin and crispy. It was thin crust but soggy and chewy. I don't think the crust was completely done. They advertise cinnamon sticks as an appetizer for $5.00 and cinnamon bread as a desert for $6.00, but said they only had one cinnamon type. We got the cinnamon bread. It was ok. I'll think twice before I order from Merlins again on my next visit. read more

Wow! We love this place! The bacon cheeseburger pizza is out of this world! We always order Merlin's the first night we arrive in Destin. We vacation in the area twice per year, for the last 8 years. We have systematically moved towards Santa Rosa and beyond as the years went by. Thus, we never tried Merlin's...our loss. We were pleasantly greeted and served. Chelsea our server was a pro. I had thin crust pepperoni explosion and my wife had gluten free chicken pesto pizza. Both were very good and Chelsea knew what I meant when I asked her to cut mine in squares...she called it 'family cut.' The ONLY reason this isn't 5 stars (4.5 isn't an option) is the prices are a tad high...but it's a tourist area and $ not completely unreasonable. When we are in Destin proper, this will be our go-to pizza joint. read more
