This is a small place, but the pizza has great flavor. The crust is so good. We got thin crust and the Italian sausage was excellent.

Had it our first night in Destin. Highly recommend it. Delivery was fast, food was hot and so delicious.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered carry out at 5:55, was told the wait would be 20-25 minutes. Arrived around 6:15. At that time we were told the pizza wasn't ready. Asked again about 10 minutes later and nobody could give us an answer. One of the workers finally realized our order had been sitting on the counter since close to 6:00. No refund was offered for us having to wait an extra 45 minutes because nobody was willing to follow through on our order and check the names on the pizzas ready to go. read more

We have eaten this place frequently but had the worst experience last night. Ordered online with an hour and fifteen minute wait, and after waiting an hour received the email from the order tracker our pizza was leaving for delivery. Another hour passes by with still no pizza, I called because we are now at the two hour mark, and the staff on the phone says "oh Yea, he left awhile ago, he's almost there." I know. With an hour cold $60 worth of pizza. I complained to the driver that it was all really cold and he said "well traffic on main 98 is bad." Yes. It's Destin. There are alternative routes. No apology for the fact that I got to recook my mediocre food from a place where customer service is clearly not high on the list. read more

They understood my concerns and assured me the cleaned trays before cooking and understood safe food Handling. Later, We called in our order, They called back with questions to make sure they got the order correct. I Really appreciate the Extra effort. We were supposed to get a $9. Pizza is good for the kids but the adults did Not care for it at all. Ordered the seafood one and it was very disappointing, not much flavor to it very dry, hardly any sauce on it, had to put ranch on it to make it taste ok. Have ordered from Merlins many times and I love the toppings selection. We mostly order online and delivery time is working 45 minutes each time, which is great. I am just not a fan of the pizza dough. I prefer thin crispy crust and each time we've ordered it "we'll done", it is marginally crispy at best. The taste is bland and I feel like I'm eating cardboard. It is hard to chew rather than crispy. My husband loves it, I just don't. Taste preference that's all.
