Custom color & Hair extensions When I came to see Mariah my hair was busted! the worst condition my hair has ever been in I'm talking hot root dry and brittle and to make my hair even worse I did the worst and dyed my hair with box dye it was some red color that made my hair so dark on the bottom and some red on top but it didn't dye any of my grey hair so I still had all this grey hair showing after just dying it. I was so embarrassed coming to my appt with my hair looking the way it did I almost didn't show up but there was no way I could be seen with my hair the way it was so I went and let me tell you it was the best decision I have ever made! When I got there Mariah was so friendly she made me feel very comfortable she looked at my hair and I didn't see any judginess i showed her a pic of what I wanted scared to tell her about the box dye expecting her to tell me I can't dye your hair today but instead she said omg your hair is going to look so good let's do! this! She explained everything she would be doing to my hair and went into every detail making sure i was ok with it Mariah is so patient even though I showed her a pic of what I wanted I changed my mind on the color like 5 times when I finally decided on a color for the hair extensions they were sold out but that didn't matter Mariah wanted me to have what I wanted so she custom colored the hair extensions and color was spot on and beautiful! I met with Mariah this week to fix my hair which was in desperate need of help due to a poor color correction and dye job from another salon last week. I had a really great experience with her and will definitely be seeing her for maintenance as well. Mariah was sweet, attentive, accommodating, easy to connect with, and really listened when I told her what I wanted. She was very honest with me and told me that my inspiration photo was not achievable and she showed me photos of what could possibly be achieved. She spent hours removing as much of the old color from my hair that would come out and then she colored it this very pretty and fun purple color. I was so nervous during our consultation. Unfortunately, my roots were so over processed/lightened from the other/previous salon (and they were florescent bright lavender) so I was really worried any color would look silly and would take too much color leaving the rest looking bland. During our consult, she said she could work with it and she did a great job making it look well integrated. The roots now give it great dimension. read more

I still had dark roots (when I asked for no roots or money piece).she basically only did a money piece For $900! She also had the courage to message my past hairdresser who she said was incompetent and messaged her after me apt tell her what I told her about her service and asking her to never take me as a client again! I came in as a new client. Discussed the color and presented inspo pictures. Extensions were ordered overnight.. Arrived at my appointment.Everything was running smoothly until she brought out the extensions. They were a whole different color. ( She stated she did not bother going in to her salon to check the color of her sample extensions to decide what color to order, she ordered them at "home". As a client YOU EXPECT TO HAVE THE EXTENSIONS INSTALLED THE SAME DAY. We decided to "tone" them. I did not get to see the color until she installed them in and "toned " them once again.She told me she would order new extensions we agreed we choose the shade. Left the appointment, I went home and took a closer look and the extensions were orange I will insert a picture. Yes, she offered to exchange the extensions, I said yes .I booked an appointment to exchange the extensions.( she texted me an hour before my appointment that the extensions where not going to be delivered)I texted her back stating it was fine we can work with the extensions at this point I had no hope. She returned the extensions she had bought out of her pocket without my consent. She gave me complementary shampoo LOL (to make up for it she said "use this it will even out my hair and it will match." It did not do anything to my hair it looked HORRIBLE!!! That same day I sent her a text stating I want the color of the extensions to match my hair color if she can color correct my hair and lighten it to match the extensions. She refused to do it and she wanted to charge me an extra $400 on top of the $1,200+ that I had already paid for. The fact that she let me walk out with my hair all different shades it's disappointing. Then I went back a week later to permanently dye them(SHE LITERALLY ONLY DYED THEM HALF DOWN EXCLUDING THE TOP OF THE EXTENSIONS) .( SHE HAD ME BLOW DRY MY HAIR 2X) She had a client at that the same time,Of course she had those 30 minutes to blow dry my hair meanwhile her client was waiting for her rinse. Her client took a look at my hair and stated" yeah you can even tell" of course she was going to be on her side. I color matched myself with the sample extensions she had and showed her the exact color. Again she kept trying to convince me they "looked good". I will insert the picture after it was done. The extensions did not match 100%. The color was still off but she convinced me that it was not noticeable, that the color will fade to my extensions LOL.Despite expressing my concerns about the color match of the extensions, the stylist's response was dismissive and lacked professionalism. It was disappointing to encounter such rudeness and unwillingness to accommodate my concerns. I did ask for a refund, which was the least she can do. However proceeded to not move on with the refund then blocked my number LOL!! All I wanted was for her to fix the color.Moving forward, I hope the salon can prioritize better customer service and communication to avoid similar experiences for other clients. read more

I went to Mariah for purple peek-a-boo highlights. It was my first time ever getting a non-natural hair color. Mariah sat with me when I first arrived and asked me to talk her through what I wanted. She explained how she'd normally do peek-a-boo highlights and made sure I'd be ok with that. I told her I wanted the purple to be subtle, which she understood. So I definitely got SCAMMED $1500, I got charged 700 to go from blonde to red(she didn't use bleach). told her i noticed my hair wasn't all one color, had black streaks all throughout and she told me she had to "spot bleach"parts that wouldn't lift with the color remover. Sooo i came in and i paid 800 for that and she legit just bleached my roots. I gave her the benifit of the doubt cause i was getting a lot of compliments on my hair and we had nice convos. I definitely should've told her right then and there but I was being a non confrontational weenie. Sooo i go back to get my roots done and she didn't bleach them, just put dye over them. She gave me a refund for that which was nice. I later unfollowed her but my family told me to reach out and i did. I told her I had black streaks in my hair and she told me to show her if i do, i sent her pictures and i got BLOCKED. JUST BECAREFUL AND SPEAK UP OR SHE WILLL RIP U OFF. I don't understand why she blocked me instead of just offering to fix it? who knowsss. If she responds to this and not my personal texts, that should show yall something . A guilty conscience . For 1,500 idk I don't think I should have annnyy black streaks. Reading all her other one reviews and her responses just make me feel bad for her.
