I do not know how often this sort of situation happens, but it did happen to me. I did a strand test with Cindy and booked my appointment shortly after. The first time she rescheduled me, she told me it was a clerical error. Then she texted me at midnight telling me to come for my original scheduled appt the next day, then she texted me the morning of 15 minutes before my appointment and rescheduled me. After my appointment was pushed out a MONTH, it came the day of and she asked to push my appointment later in the day. I agreed and she asked to reschedule me again. At that point I was a little fed up as I had tried to be understanding, but I really wanted my hair done so she asked me to push my appt later in the day again. (Screenshots attached of her rescheduling me) When I got to the salon, I waited another 30 minutes before Cindy started doing my hair. Cindy and her assistant were very passive aggressive, complaining to me about how I was their last client and how exhausted they were, how they wanted to go home. All the while, Cindy never explained to me what she was doing and was yanking my hair which made me feel very uncomfortable. This was also my first time getting my hair done so I didn't know too much about the process. She had told me we would be doing a global bleaching (screenshot attached for proof) which is what I paid for but that is not what I got. In the end, the color was nice (although definitely not global) and to top it off Cindy did not give me any Olaplex products as she said she would. She was rushing me out of the salon and her husband was even waiting around while I finished. Overall, I had such a poor experience with Cindy due to her lack of professionalism, the whole rescheduling fiasco to her attitude. I ended up going to another salon to achieve platinum and had a much better experience in terms of both the process and the result. I know plenty of Cindy's clients and read all the good reviews but I will not be returning.

She's a super sweet person who helps guide you through your hair process and she's also super reasonable with her prices. I've had trouble with my hair since the last two stylists I've gone to. The toning faded quickly and the colors didn't come out as I expected. For some reason although my hair was already bleached twice the blonde didn't come through at all. But thanks to Cindy she was able to help me achieve my perfect blonde all in one session so that I wouldn't have to ever worry about orange payoff again. Her sessions are a bit long but the time you spend with her are so worth it, since she is super patient and only wants the best for her clients. If there's uncertainty in the process she'll be sure to confirm with her clients and fix any mishaps, I really admire her honesty in her work. I can totally picture myself coming back to Cindy for toning or some baby lights done in the future. Thank you Cindy for a wonderful experience!

I really appreciate how she is educational, honest, and realistic in how she approaches conversations with her client. If you're unsure of what color or cut to get, she patiently explains the tradeoffs so that you can make an informed decision (vs. just making the decision for you). Unfortunately when I booked an appointment this year on New Year's Eve, the lady who cut my hair messed it up so bad. When booking I always ask for Ben, they told me Ben was available to cut my hair so I came in. When I came in, an older lady started to wash and blow dry my hair. I was so stunned when she started cutting my hair, she didn't even straighten the hair before cutting. My hair is extremely frizzy and poofy when it's not straighten. I told her many times to only give me a trim and to cut the spilt ends off and that I like my hair long. Keep in mind my hair was down to my waist when I came in and left with my hair above my chest. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but she cut almost all my hair off. After the cut she styled my hair and all the hair curled inwards so I couldn't see how messed up it was. I went home and straighten my hair back to normal and I was baffled. The left side was completely uneven and chopped. My hair was so so short and I asked to keep the length. I've been trying to grow it out to see if it'll blend in but it's still so bad (it's been 7 months). I texted them and they offered to fix it but there's no way you can fix it without making it more short. I am literally traumatized and won't let anyone touch my hair anymore. Genuinely they could've just told me Ben was busy and I would've came back another time.

I like trying different styles, and she has given me everything from a clean blunt cut to a choppy razor-cut shag and long, blended layers that add shape without thinning out my hair. She listens to what I want, but she is also very good at suggesting what will suit me best. My favorite results have always come from combining what I want with her recommendations. Booking is easy, and she has kindly accommodated me several times when I needed a quick bang trim. She also gives genuinely useful advice on how to care for my hair. Color services do take a bit longer since she doesn't have any help and sometimes works on two clients at the same time. I'm usually there for 4+ hours. However, the results are worth it every time! I can 100% say Judy beautifully achieved that. She's gotten me closer to my hair goals than ever before! Her work on Instagram (@hvirbyjl) is phenomenal, and it's so surreal seeing my hair get close to the reference photos from her page but with my own version. I leave the salon truly LOVING my hair. Judy is so talented and thorough with her explanations, all while considering your hair goals and what's realistic with the state of your hair.
