However, I believe the salon should be more transparent about pricing on its website. When I called to schedule, I was told that my $100 deposit would be applied to my visit, but it ultimately was not. As a first-time client, I was charged $250 plus additional treatment costs. In total I was charged $380 and I also paid a tip which I would've rather paid to the stylist than to hold the appt. I would have given the salon five stars if not for this pricing discrepancy. I also personally would prefer not to pay a $100 deposit simply to hold an appointment. Overall, this was a valuable learning experience for future bookings and for the hair care journey I am beginning. Edit: The owner kindly reached out and did confirm my deposit was applied. If I would've read my statement, I would've known this so that is my mistake. Thank you for reaching out and 5 stars to your salon.

I have never experienced this level of disrespect in a salon before. After my hair was washed and blow-dried, I told the stylist I wanted curls. Her response was, "Yeah, with THOSE split ends." The comment was made in a rude and belittling manner. Keep in mind, I had not even seen the back of my hair at this point. I was simply communicating the style I wanted. I explained that I am not comfortable with just anyone cutting my hair because I typically trust a close family member to do so. I also clearly explained that my current priority was addressing the thinning around my crown. Her response? "Your edges are GONE. Your edges are GONE. There is no need to focus on them." Then the salon began laughing. I cannot adequately express how humiliating that moment was. Imagine sitting in a salon, being vulnerable about your hair, and instead of receiving professional advice, you become the punchline for the entire room. There is a HUGE difference between educating a client about their hair and embarrassing, belittling, or taunting them. If you disagree with a client's priorities or they aren't comfortable receiving a particular service, you should still be able to communicate with professionalism and respect. And before anyone points to the many positive reviews this salon has, please consider the negative experiences as well. I understand that some people have been coming here for years and may have become accustomed to the way certain staff members speak to clients, their attitudes, or what they consider to be "just how they are." But being a longtime customer and becoming accustomed to negativity does not make that behavior acceptable. Especially when dealing with someone who is NEW. A new client should not have to walk into a salon already knowing that they need to tolerate someone's attitude, rude comments, or disrespectful communication just because longtime customers have learned to accept it and they just don't "sugarcoat anything". What may be "normal" to regulars is NOT normal or acceptable to everyone else. It's HOW you say things at times and with all those positive reviews you would think that's understood by the salon owner and employees. I came into this establishment expecting to receive a professional service. I did not come there to be judged about my hair, laughed at, or made to feel ashamed of the very thing I was paying them to help me with. And for the price I paid, I expected MUCH better. I expected professionalism. I expected respect. I expected to feel comfortable. And quite frankly, I expected my blowout to actually last. Instead, I left feeling less than and mad that I spent my money there in the first place. No hairstyle is worth being humiliated. If you're considering this salon, read ALL of the reviews not just the positive ones and pay attention to the experiences of people who are new or who don't simply go along with everything they're told. My experience was unacceptable, and based on what happened to me, I will NOT be returning and DO NOT recommend this salon which is stating the obvious. A salon should leave you feeling beautiful, confident, and respected not embarrassed and degraded. This experience did the exact opposite...

Today I tried their new Head Spa treatment and it was amazing. The room for the Head Spa is relaxing as soon as you enter and the scalp treatment and body massage were wonderful. There is a table that provides the body massage and it really helped relax all my stiff muscles. It took a minute to get used to the automatic massage but in a very short time my body was feeling totally relaxed. The scalp massage is excellent too and there is a fountain that keeps your scalp warm and moist as it is massaged. There is aroma therapy and a relaxing warm eye mask too. Don't go to sleep or you might miss something wonderful. I highly recommend treating yourself to this experience.

Hannah, Jenny, Lee, and Quyen do an awesome job of giving me the cut that I ask for, show great attention while I am there, and have an excellent touch with all of their customers. Also, Hannah's has the cleanest and most modern shop in town. I would highly recommend them!
