Since it wasn't an emergency they gave me the office phone number, and first thing Monday morning Megan called to get my information and set up an appointment. Chris came to empty the tank, dug out the cover, and fixed a problem in the tank. He also figured out where the waiter was coming from and was able to unclog that pipe too. He was here for several hours with his assistant Eric, troubleshooting the problem and didn't leave until all solutions were exhausted. The price for the work they did was very reasonable as well. Chris and Megan are very kind, understanding and compassionate. They went above and beyond! I gave 5 stars but wish it could be 100, that is how good they are. They care about their customers very much. I would highly recommend them.

I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! This is the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with…read more He is unreliable and doesn't get any work done. He will take your business but will not do the work for months and months and he won't even be upfront about it. He would tell you couple weeks and before you know it it is three four months and the work is still not done and you don't even have a date on when it will get done. And if you make a mistake of calling him to ask when he would come to do the work, he wouldn't answer calls for weeks and weeks. And when he eventually answered, he was disrespectful and rude you he was yelling, screaming and swearing. Oh I forgot to mention the only reason he answered was because we called from a different phone number that he didn't recognize so probably thought a new job that he can sign a contract for but never does. I got called back to schedule the appt. and got called back once to explain why the driver wasn't there in the morning. The pump out service was fine. I dug the opening and when they did finally show, it took less than 15 minutes to pump the tank. I just like talking to real people and not voicemail. The driver was very nice and explained that communications with the "office" can be problematic.

Maybe he had gotten stuck a couple times prior to your call - I would be hesitant as well and not want to risk losing a days work due to an avoidable circumstance. Losing one customer is better than losing the rest he is scheduled for in an entire day. That was his judgment call to make and not yours. Sometimes the risk isn't worth taking and it certainly isn't something to be belligerent about, just because you waited too long to pump your septic.
