These people were recommended to me and I could not have been more disappointed. I called them because I wanted them to check my brakes and I had a weird noise in the front of my car. Well- turns out I needed brake pads, rotors and calipers. $780. When I got the car back they never even checked or fixed the noise in the front right. When I asked them they said "oh well you know when people say there's a noise we don't know what they're talking about". I brought it back and the guy opened up the hood he's like oh yeah that's your pulley. I said it's the same noise that was there before ! They fixed the pulley and they said "We repaiced a couple O-rings in your power steering because that was making some noise. Your power steering is a little growly-BUT THATS NORMAL. Everything should be fine now you won't have any problems." Three weeks later I can't turn my steering wheel- why? because it's out of power steering fluid. Brought it back in and he said you had no power steering fluid . Yeah- so you're telling me this wasn't something that they could've seen three weeks ago when they replaced O-rings? ?? They said they looked under the hood there was so much power steering fluid everywhere they couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from. How lazy are these people? It's leaking power steering fluid so figure it out- I'm here. He could not be bothered. Not to mention on my first trip to get my brakes done I said leave it outside the gate and after I had someone come pick me up and drive me all the way down there I got there and they locked it in the parking lot. I had to come down again the next day to get it. These people are lazy and incompetent go to L and V in Haverhill and see Victor! read more

I had about 15 mechanical issues with my car not only did they fix every single problem, they found a few others I had no idea about, fixed those problems and got the price in at almost half of what I thought it would cost!!! Been going for years, always a pleasure to deal with. Today when I was waiting for my car. A gentle man can in with a problem of his front end shaking. Right a way I knew what the problem was, we just had a big snow storm and he probably had snake and ice build up on one of his wheels. The guy behind the could said he could take a look, then he asked if it just started, the man said yes, the counter guy told him to go to the car wash and pressure wash the ice and snow of from his wheels. After numerous positive experiences with Merrimack Valley Tire, its time I write a review. They are my guru, when it comes to my auto service needs. Been visiting them for years. It's refreshing to go to a business which is honest, and genuine. There are no "suggested" service items. Not once have I ever dreaded the visit. Educated myself the hard way ten years ago, I finally purchased my dream car. my desire to keep it in top shape was priority number one. So, I chose to have the dealership do all the service foolishly thinking my treasure would be well maintained. Really overwhelming with all the "suggested" service items needed it was if I was handed a Service Merchandise catalog. It became dreaded more then the dentist. After always going to Merrimack Valley Tire for my tires, this time I had them do my oil change. I had sticker shock(half of what I paid the dealership), added bonus there was no laundry list of suggested service. It no longer made since to go out of my way to have the dealership service. I will never cheat again. If you are new to Haverhill, or the Merrimack Valley area you will not regret going to Merrimack Valley Tire. if you have any concern speak up to Steve, he and his staff will do what they can to make it right. Personally I experienced it with tires, they solved it above and beyond my expectations. Thankfully I don't have dentures, or those would have been on the floor. It's fantastic to see a business who still believes in Customer Service. I personally would rather have real genuine people maintain my auto, then having my car vacuumed. I can do that myself. My wife and I just moved to Haverhill about 5 months ago and we were in need of a mechanic. We were recommended to go to Merrimack Valley Tire and we couldn't have been more satisfied with that decision. The service is incredible, the prices are reasonable and the work is fast and fantastic. You bring your car in for an issue, they fix the issue and explain to you why the issue occurred and give recommendations on how to prevent the issue. My wife and I have taken our cars there for oil changes, new tires, and whatever mechanical work we needed done. One time, my check engine light came on and I had them look at it. It was an emissions issue that was an easy fix. They called me and said there would be no charge. No charge? What mechanic has ever said that before? I then asked for an oil change as a way of giving them some kind of business, simply to say thank you for the great service and not charging me. Can you believe that? I've never tried to GIVE my money to any mechanic when I didn't have to IN MY LIFE except for them. Merrimack Valley Tire is in a class of their own! read more

After to going here for many years for auto repairs and scheduled oil changes. merrimack valley has lost my business. I was lied to by Steve the owner. I scheduled my sinthetic oil change which I have been getting there for the last 6 years. My last oil change the price seemed to be a lot less expensive, by $15. I questioned Steve he had no answer and then said oh I was able to get cheaper oil and we added a blend. 15 dollars cheaper I don't believe it. If he was honest he would have checked my profile any saw how much I usually page which is $50. there were too busy for my car to have the oil changed on my scheduled appointment time. It took almost 2 hours for my car to be ready. being lied to lost my business I will never recommend a business that is dishonest. read more
