I have bought dairy, meat, desserts, and vegetables from Aldi that taste great. I like Aldi salads, snack packs, corned beef, gelato, and brioche buns. Also, this location in Westland is better than the Aldi in Canton, which is too small to serve so much traffic coming from Ford Road.

The store is clean and organized, and the cashiers and other staff couldn't be friendlier. It's one of those stores that has as many "off" brands as national ones, which isn't always a bad thing. A large portion of the customers use WIC and Bridge cards, and there is a good selection of food so if you don't own a vehicle you can walk here and not the party store or gas station. I couldn't do my weekly shopping here because there are some brands I'm loyal to, and the prices here are a little steep on those. But, if you are in the area, don't let the location stop you from going in for some $1 Faygo 2 ltrs or other fun stuff. They also double coupons up to $.50, have a Western Union, and a fax machine!!! Ok, that's not super-exciting, but it might be if you live nearby and want to fax something.
