Only to be provided sams club bucket of chicken salad, pulled pork, and stale buns that the caterer daphne did not even use sanitary process to serve the lack luster food. when confronted about the food. she played coy and said she left food at her house and will have to go back and get it. 2 hours later to only return with fried chicken fingers from walmart. the servers she provided did not know how to set up the equipment leaving our company to do the set up. The servers were also there to act as gamers for our casino games. Neither server knew how to play any casino games. But instead decided they were going to partake in the festivities of the party. This women needs to stop scamming businesses and people out of their money and needs to be reported to the better business bureau. To which will be my next action. when informed that we will be taking legal action against her. she has disappeared. when i try to contact the corporate offices. Their number is no longer in service. She didn't even try to keep my business by saying it was their mistake or that they've made improvements since then. She just said "Okay I get it" and to email her to cancel it. My wedding was 3 months out so they had more than enough time to find another event for that day. I tried to get my deposit back and they declined it and added in a bunch of "additional fees". I tried calling the company multiple times but it sent me straight to voicemail so I'm assuming they blocked my number after I cancelled. Everything then was done via email, I pleaded for some of the money back and they would not budge so I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card company. I would really save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this company, it is not worth the money you think you will save. Take my word for it. Pay a little more and go with a more reputable caterer.

You may think of sliders as a snack, but these were more than a snack. The Hawaiian rolls were the foundation for this main course followed by a thick marinara sauce that added a tangy flavor and then the perfectly seasoned chicken layered with mozzarella cheese. The top of the Hawaiian bun was brushed with a savory blend of melted butter, garlic, parsley, and Parmesan. It was a big hit. Southern Elegance also has amazing desserts. Our favorites are the individual pies...pecan, strawberry, and mixed berry. I recommend ordering extra because they will go as quickly as the main course. Was in town to take a relative out to lunch. We were in the mood for some seafood and I had heard…read moregood things about this place. Once inside, there was less than a five minute wait. We requested seating near the front, but was informed that the waitress for that area wasn't on until 12:00. Mind you, it was 11:50 and we could have waited the 10 minutes, but apparently, that didn't seem to be an option. I didn't want to press my point, so we just settled at a seat farther in the back. Our server took our order, but it really seemed as if he didn't want to be there. Not very attentive, but not openly rude. We did notice that he was much more attentive to the family that was seated next to us. But, I suppose these situations just happen. Perhaps he didn't like the way we looked - who knows! Anyway, we started off with the cheesy biscuits and the fried green tomatoes that were delicious (though a bit greasy). It also seemed that the cheese in the cheesy biscuits wasn't melted. We actually thought there were bits of carrots in the bread. Not sure what kind of cheese doesn't melt when baked. Anyway, our table entrees included fried shrimp, fried catfish, grilled snapper, and steak. We all really did enjoy the food, though we had to send back an order (steak arrived well done, but medium rare is what was ordered); we finally received the steak as requested, but after the rest of the table had already started eating (or our food would have gotten cold); never good when an order has to be sent back due to the server's error - this just throws the whole table off. Anyway, did receive the correct order a little over ten minutes later. The good food may draw me back to the restaurant when I am in town again, but I will be sure that we have a different server.
