I got such bad treatment form her I walked out. And this is at 10am, NO ONE else in line, so it's not because of 'long day blues' She shouldn't be dealing with the public. I finally contacted The Corporate office and spoke with someone after attempting to call this place over 25 times, each day for several days. Regardless of what excuse is given, it is not enough. The complete lack of decency and professionalism and service is worse than I have ever seen in any buisness. Do not entrust your children to the vaxinations they are pushing either. I find it disgusting that anyone is pushing vaccines that have killed more than ever. Do your own research, the answers are out there. So it was my first and only time going to this pharmacy. I had to go in and quickly get a list of…read moremeds when it first opened. I was avoiding taking my sick children out but it prevented my husband from going to work. So it needed to be done quickly. I understood that wasn't there problem and I was as kind as I could be. They didn't have one of the meds so they had to transfer the prescription to Walmart. Which I understood. One of the prescriptions was a steroid for my son. I wanted to get exact directions to make sure I did it right. My son is only 2 and I've never given him that before. And this older woman named Hannah behind the desk was extremely annoyed and so mean and rude when I was trying to ask for directions. Any time I asked her a question to make sure I was informed correctly on everything she snapped at me and acted like I was bothering her. So I thought maybe she's not the specific pharmacist maybe that's someone else. So I asked her if she was the pharmacist she pointed to her badge that said pharmacy manager and said "Last time I checked I was. Why you asking me that?!" Acting like I somehow intended to insult her when she had made clear she was looking to pick a fight with me. I didn't want to engage anymore so I just politely took the medications and went over to Walmart pharmacy where they were much more accommodating at the Walmart pharmacy and they were actually kind! It's really not cool for people who work in pharmacy's to treat people so poorly. It's not like she was working behind the counter at McDonalds and I was complaining cause she got my order wrong. People need their medicines and I had a major scare with my son just the night before to where something terrible could have happened had he not gotten the right medicines. Please hire people who will actually treat people with respect. They are not working with trivial things like food or clothes. They are working with peoples medicines that could either keep them alive or not. It needs to be taken more seriously and treated with care.

I know because as soon as I left, I called my doctor's office and told them what they said. They told me the employees here were lying. Further, I've been a Rite Aid pharmacy customer for over two decades. In Bakersfield, my Rite Aid had twice the patients and I never once experienced the issues this store has, which they blame on the number of patients. It's a disgrace that these people even have jobs. And btw we all notice that this store is next on the Rite Aid chopping block. When that happens, Cal City will be left with no pharmacy. I have very fond memories coming here with my parents and grandparents filling their prescriptions. They have a lovely selection of gift items which I have enjoyed browsing to kill time. I even remember Komoto's having a large selection of stickers. I mean what 6 year old doesn't love stickers! My dad stll drives over 30 miles to Komoto's to buy his favorite mouth wash that he swears can't find anywhere else. I appreciate them for keeping great selling items through the decades and their customers have in turn thanked them with their loyalty. While they've made some changes to keep up with the times and demands Komoto's is by far one of the greatest mom and pop run pharmacies in Kern County.
