I am prescribed a controlled substance by my doctor, a psychiatrist based in California, and they even spoke directly with the pharmacist. Despite this, the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription, citing no valid reason and instead, suggested that I take my prescription to CVS. This encounter felt discriminatory and unprofessional. The pharmacist's demeanor was dismissive and condescending, and it was evident that they were on a power trip rather than adhering to any legitimate policy. As a patient, I rely on timely access to my psychiatric medication, and being treated this way is both frustrating and unacceptable. I hope Rite Aid addresses this issue and ensures their pharmacists provide respectful and professional service to ALL patients. I'll be filling a formal complaint against Ray/ Rite Aid with the California board of Pharmacy and the DEA. I urge others to do the same. After reading previous reviews, Ray requesting customers "return/exchange" meds is a violation of both federal and state regulations. Robotic questions. No caring in her voice or attitude. The gal who gave me my booster was so unfriendly, cut, dry, no personal skills whatsoever , these employees should be reprimanded or go work in a factory where you need zero people skills.... ...no hello from front register gal either. I feel like an outcast and every time I go in to pick up my prescription, it seems like no one is available to help and that they are always busy, however the "busy" is just pacing back and forth making it look like they are doing something. They will walk right up to the counter just to make sure they ignore you. They are definitely not short staff. No one greets you in any aspect and are not friendly at all. Even the pharmacist looks at you as if they are judging you. And their technology is so out of date it is ridiculous. I will definitely be looking for a new pharmacist. This definitely does not have the small town of Exeter friendliness that I am used to.

Wtf!! Fill them when you get them!!! My DR sent it to you do t wait two or three days for others to come in.. Walgreens used to be the only place we as Military family would go to and now we are going to report them to our insurance company. I have been shorted medication or get half pills and then they tell me I'm lying! I am a pharmacy tech by trade and though I can no longer work I keep my license up and I have ethics, and there is no way I would ever jeopardize my license. Here is just an example in this picture. You can see where I counted them back out just to make sure this was an order. I just picked up. Counted them twice just to confirm that I was shorted one pill it was half exactly half how can that be? It was like it was cut in half and given it to me so where is the other half? Is it in the bottle now these pills have to be signed off by two people your Pharmacy tech and then your pharmacist also has to count them out so they have to be counted twice and signed for by your pharmacist so he should have caught this and correct it. Always count your pills.

CVS, over the course of almost three weeks, refused to release the Rx to Walmart. The Walmart pharmacy staff were helpful and persistent. They informed me that, despite multiple transfer requests, CVS kept 'denying' the transfer. After an in-person visit to the CVS pharmacy - where I was told I was "out of refills" (not true; I had two left) - and my doctor's office, and a pharmacist-to-pharmacist phone call, the issue was finally resolved but not without great inconvenience and frustration.

I have the Walgreens app so when the meds are ready, I get a text saying that they're ready for pick up. I also order my meds with this app so it's important to get that as well. Yesterday when I went and picked up my supplies I had a real nice experience a male person who was real tall. I got my name and went and pulled my order and a pharmacist called and asked if I had any questions and if there were any questions, they're happy to answer him if not to feel free to give them a call that's real nice. When the pharmacist takes an active role in this process, you can ask any question there's never a dumb question I promise you I hope you have a good a good experience as I have. And if Devon is involved, it will surely be a great one. He is so helpful and he really cares for the people there and the customers he's got real good customer service thank you.

Then I realized I had been overcharged for the nuts that I thought were on sale. Someone possibly a customer put the tag over the nuts that I wanted. Since they weren't going to honor the price, I said to give me a refund. She said I need an ID to make the return even though I hadn't left her site. I only stepped aside from her register. That infuriated me because not only are you saying I can't have the product I want but you're saying that I need to leave the store go across the street get my ID and come back even though there's no way I could commit fraud. She is saying there's no way for her to go around that rule when the whole purpose of that rule is probably to prevent fraud I'm guessing. Otherwise, why would you need an ID to return something that you literally just handed to me and I handed right back to her. I would not have been so pissed about the price tag being wrong if she hadn't made me leave the store to go get my ID. I was not responsible for that tag being in the wrong spot I thought I had checked the tag like I typically do to make sure that a good thing that seems to be good to be true is or isn't. I made a mistake that day didn't take a picture so I can confirm. Instead of just giving me a break and either giving me the price that the tag said or letting me return the product without my ID they made me go through hoops.
