Only care about money. Counseling isn't on par for the course and they literally don't have a clue what's going on.

I'm a recent patient. It's great as far as mental hospitals g. However, it's a slow process. From signing up to getting to the unit.

Absolutely NO STARS. None at all!…read more If I had to describe Rose Trails in one word, I couldn't do it. I'd need to include every word I could muster to try to describe the pain and anguish my family has suffered as a result of the poor quality of care Rose Trail offered my belated aunt - despicable, horrible, lacking and failing. My aunt died a few weeks ago after complications that started at Rose Trails. Due to COVID-19 the family was unable to see the critical condition she had endured for months, but upon being hospitalized it was clear that she has been tossed aside. She was stuck in a fetal position because she hadn't walked or being moved in months. She was severely malnourished from months of not eating. She had a open wound on her leg, that was infected for months without proper treatment. What kind of staff can overlook someone who is this condition and unable to care for themselves? FOR MONTHS?! I am appalled. I am angry. I am sick to my stomach that people who are this cruel and careless are responsible for people who truly need care. My aunt is no longer with us, but I strongly believe if someone at this facility had sympathy, concern and a soul they could have helped her before things got out of control. If my aunt was not eating, why wasn't proper steps taken to find out the reason why. If my aunt was no longer able to stretch her legs out and walk, why was this unnoticed? How did she do basic things for herself like use the restroom, turn over, get up to stretch, or anything, without someone realizing that she was no longer able to move her legs and they were now stuck in a fetal position? Why was the family not notified of these things? How did she have an open, gushing, infected wound on her leg for months without getting treatment or wound care? Who was assigned to care for her? Did the administration and staff turn a blind eye to her condition? What was the reason? Who determines which patients get treated and cared for, and who gets ignored? My aunt was there in pain. She HAD to have said something to someone!!! Did the nurses not see the signs that she was deteriorating in front of their eyes? Did they not see that she was basically skin and bones? Why wouldn't they try to get her proper nutrition? Did they know that food sustains us and we need food/nutrition to live? Were they withholding food from her? I have so many unanswered questions and I'm full of sorrow and pain because this could have all been PREVENTED if someone was doing their fucking jobs! COVID-19 was not an excuse for the level of mistreatment and neglect that my aunt endured these last months of her life. To be without food, unable to move and do things for yourself is a level of suffering I can't even imagine. To watch someone suffer in this manner is a level of evil that I can't even comprehend. I will be reporting this facility to any and every outlet I can find because people need to know the horror my family has had to experience. This place should be closed down permanently, everyone who worked here from Mar - Aug 2020 needs to be investigated. If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS HELL HOLE!

My mother is having her third stay in 2 years. Other than some some issues with the care transition…read moreoffice (and that team is no longer here) after her stay last year, Ignite has been dependable and comfortable, administering IV antibiotics twice a day, offering onsite dialysis (not many options for that in DFW), and physical & occupational therapy. The nurses and other staff are responsive and caring, and have always been happy to take my calls to check in on her. The facility is also clean and pleasant. I do not understand some of these reviews, but with three stays now (current one in progress) for completely different rehab issues, I feel our experience has been consistent and satisfactory. I'm grateful to have Ignite as an option after my mother's hospital stays when she needs more expert attention than can be provided at home.

My father-in-law was admitted directly from the hospital late on a Friday. He was placed in a room…read morethat wasn't prepared and was far from the nurses' station. He couldn't walk on his own and needed the restroom; after pressing the call button, no one responded for over 10 minutes. I had to go find help, and a nursing assistant eventually came. When I spoke with Barbara, the Patient Experience Manager, she said 10 minutes was standard and that by law they have up to two hours to respond to a call button. That was unbelievable to hear. He was later moved to a room that was actually ready, but he sat there all day with almost no staff interaction--aside from food trays being dropped off and picked up. He is 82 with multiple medical issues, yet his PT didn't start for several days and no one checked on him. Thankfully, my niece visited; he had an accident, and she helped clean him and change his clothes. Otherwise, he was left wearing the same clothes for days because he couldn't change them himself. This facility is advertised as skilled nursing and rehabilitation, but I saw neither. Leaving an 82-year-old alone all day without routine checks is unacceptable. For the most part, staff were rude and acted like he was a burden. If you want rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and a caring, attentive team, look elsewhere.

Then she said the doctor was in error in not adding the CT scan with dye. This was a person that just schedules appointments. Adding dyes can damage the kidneys. Then the lady says Medicare does not accept these CT treatments? This was not true. I talked to the manager of the Texas Social Security Medicare and he said by all means he accepts all CT submitted by a doctor....Outrageous behavior by someone that is suppose to help and just do her job. I'll never go to your hospital for imaging again and have taken my business to a better informed medical provider.

The nurses are always in groups talking (I'll explain this), and every person I've had in this home complains how poor the treatment from the staff is. I recently visited a member there and she needed help badly. She pressed her call button several times an no one came in. I went to find a nurse, and yes, you guessed it. They were all just in groups chatting and laughing away. I informed them that my member needed help. One nurse rudely responded it was time for them to begin rounds and they would get to her when they could. What? She needed help then. That's absurd. Sad. Just very sad.
