Very Painful and Unprofessional Experience!…read more I paid $7,475 for a hair transplant at this clinic with Dr. John Lord III on August 17, 2025, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I contracted for 2,500 grafts, but the doctor later claimed 3,000 and asked for extra payment. In reality, based on photos and independent review, fewer than 1,500 grafts were placed. I specifically requested work on both the crown and frontal areas, yet the crown received almost nothing (about 10 grafts). The surgery lasted 15 hours instead of 8. During the procedure, the doctor was on the phone while operating with one hand, and his assistant seemed untrained. Anesthesia was often delayed, injected into already swollen wounds, causing unbearable pain. The staff also spoke loudly without masks directly above me, raising serious hygiene concerns. This was the most painful and unprofessional medical experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this clinic.

Because of medication issues, health complications, and several hospitalizations from lung disease, I had lost a lot of weight starting in 2016. My face had become aged and tired. Simply put, I looked sick. STEM CELLS AND LUNG DISEASE: The first week of December I went in for my procedure. I was also scheduled to have my fourth stem cell treatment. These stem cell treatments have literally given me my life back. Before the first, in early 2018, I had basically arrived at the lowest point regarding my health. I was unable to cook for my family, and had no energy to help around the house. I was off and on for weeks at a time on sick leave from my job at the hospital. My husband and I spoke and decided on trying the stem cell procedure. That I knew, nobody had ever tried stem cells as treatment for Pulmonary Hypertension, so we were all a bit wary. But we decided to go for it. Fast forward to present 2020, I've had four procedures. My family and I believe it has maintained my health at a superb capacity. I feel like my old self again. DAY OF THE PROCEDURE: Dr. Berman marked my face with his little blue surgical marker. I looked so funny as I walked into his in-office operating room. Audrey, his Surgical Assistant, was very caring and made me feel perfectly comfortable. She started the IV on my arm while Dr. Berman prepped my inner thigh area for the mini liposuction treatment. It was such a small amount, that I didn't even have to get sedated for the procedure. Which allowed me the privilege to "hang with the surgical team" and enjoy a wonderful conversation. Once the lipo part was done, Dr. Berman proceeded to localize my facial nerves. He gave me such a good block! Similar to what it feels like at the dentist office. Once the fat cells were ready for injection, Dr. Berman meticulously injected the areas of concern. Upper eye and brow area, lower eye and check area and a tiny bit around the increasingly drooping jowl area. RECOMMENDATION: I would definitely recommend Dr. Berman to anyone considering any type of cosmetic survey. I would not go anywhere else.
