DR MOEIN IS NOT A BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON . I Had surgery on Nov 12 , 2025 , a few hours after surgery I was rushed to UCLA emergency ‼ with the worst pain I've ever endured in my life . He also had me sign paper work immediately after my surgery , he took it upon himself to do a few more surgical areas that I did not discuss with him beforehand , I had a very kind nurse at UCLA hospital that researched this doctor and told me he was not a board certified plastic surgeon..... However, his business card is very misleading , I was there for 4 days at $16,000 per day , I had severe nerve damage and was on pain medicine for almost 5 months was unable to work , drive etc for that entire time , i'm still dealing with certain movements and pain now on my 6th month . He suggested his personal nurse Maude for aftercare , when the pain increased so bad initially after surgery the nurse would not call 911 , I felt scared & trapped , after one hour of complaining she had made the second call to Dr. Moein , who was not going to let her call 911 finally he agreed and allowed her to call 911 , Dr Moein was very nice initially, but once there was a problem, he was very shrewd , non compassionate , however, at the fifth of month as the worst of pain has decreased. I had a lengthy talk with him on the phone and he agreed to refund my 20,000 $ that I paid in full , at the time I was not even asking for pain and suffering and lost time of my work , As I told Dr Moein when he came to see me at the hospital UCLA , I wished I never met him , he has been my worst nightmare, literally Im still traumatized with nightmares over the sleepless night's & relentless pain I endured and still in Recovery . read more

In February 2025, I had a robotic laparoscopic repair of an inguinal hernia with Dr. Moeinolmolki (Dr. Moein for short). I had many choices for such a routine hernia repair surgery, but chose to go with Dr. Moein because of the incredible patience and detail with which he chose to explain his particular approach to me, my belief in and observation of his meticulous nature, and the genuine care and friendliness with which he and his team treated me. The procedure went very smoothly, and aside from mild discomfort in my shoulders (a side effect of gas left over from the laparoscopy) I had no discomfort and required no medications from pain at the site of the repair itself. Two weeks out, I am having to restrain myself from more vigorous exercise because things feel so normal. I am a huge fan of Dr. Moein and would recommend him to anyone for any of his specialties, cosmetic or bariatric. And for something so routine as an inguinal hernia I am extremely glad I went with Dr. Moein. Such surgeries can have complications, and the quality of the dissections and the degree to which the surgeon goes to avoid other important structures has an effect on outcomes. Another random detail: another surgeon recommended by my PCP always puts in urinary catheters for inguinal hernia surgeries and Dr. Moein never does---an annoyance I was really glad to avoid and I attribute his choice to his over thoughtfulness about what is necessary and sufficient for good outcomes. read more

Shop around. I don't know his surgery skills, he may be amazing or not. But one thing is for damn sure. This man is charges WAY TOO HIGH, and he's a predatory salesman. He tried to charge me $22k for gyno surgery. I ultimately went to a DIFFERENT surgeon, and got my surgery for a little less than $7k; lipo and gyno removal with excellent results. When Dr. Moein was consulting me; I did ask for additional incisions and skin removal to make my chest smaller. And Dr. Moein did give me 2 options: A cheaper path with just liposuction and gyno removal for $13k(still freakishly high compared to 2 other doctors) or $22k with extra incisions and excess skin removal Dr. Moein really tried to sell me on the 22k procedure. He gave me very predatory sales pitch. Saying that I had a severe case, and that I pretty much needed a double mastectomy. He was funny, he started saying that I literally had Breasts like woman, and that they were double C cups, he really trying to target my insecurities so I could be vulnerable to his sales pitch. I visited 2 different doctors, and they told me different. And that my case wasn't that serious, and they ADAMANTLY advised against additional incisions and skin removal, because I am young enough for my skin to shrink. I also remember his "in-house" bloodwork and COVID test fees were exorbitantly high in the price quote breakdown. The doctor I went to in the end tried to save me as much money as he could by recommending me to goto my PCP for bloodwork, physical and COVID test. First off, I am extremely surprised that Dr. Moein has any bad reviews- it doesn't make sense to me since I had such a wonderful experience with him. He gave me his personal number so I could text him with ANY questions and he answered them with patience, kindness, and thought. His entire staff are friendly and make you feel so welcome. Although I did not have enough fat for liposuction procedure I inquired about, he was very honest with me and didn't try to make money off me with something unnecessary to my body. I went to him for Botox and filler (on a friends referral) + a consult for cosmetic surgery. This appointment took approx 2 hours - because he left me in the waiting room then in the procedure room. Took pics of my face told me what he was going to do. I trusted him (I never had either Botox or filler) OMG it hurt! I have a high pain tolerance too & since have had his filler job corrected painlessly someplace else. (Wait he just started inserting never told me a price. He was so behind never did the consult for surgery asked me to come back for face follow up & he would do consult then. I will say the office lady Linda or Lydia is so super nice. You can tell she genuinely feels bad that this dude is so rude. FOLLOW UP : He was 1.5 hours late. Comes in and has no idea why I'm there. I refresh his memory, he doesn't really listen. Never looks at my face for the follow up HE requested. I pointed out he missed a spot on my forehead w/ Botox - he was all offended - he gets the needle - as he is doing the touch up- says- your hair is thinning - ever try Rogaine? That was his comeback for me asking him to correct what he missed the first time. Next, I'm reminding him again I am also there for surgery consult. He basically belittled me, completely tried to push his weight loss surgery, told me all the things he thought I should do but never listened. Actual statement when I said it wasn't sure I needed gastric surgery; "Well if you are telling me you still want to be big then fine" (I was at the early stages of weight loss shots- had he listened he would have known that). Told me I should get a forehead reduction, like dude is ruthless. Why isn't he listening and addressing what I came there for? He's just arrogant and condescending! I was there for 2.5 hours and he never gave me the quote for the cosmetic surgery. He said he was too busy and would email me later. Weeks go by, no quote, I follow up and he is insisting I need another virtual consultation. They would kindly wave the fee?! What! I was there for 2.5 hours! Would bet anything it's because he didn't take notes, forgot who I was, and completely wasted my time. Horrible bed side manner. He is not conservative either on number of procedures during 1 surgery. I have had approx 10 consults - EVERY DR said I wanted too much for one surgery and they would only do in stages. I am writing this review in hopes that it helps anyone seeking this type of treatment steer clear of Dr. Moein. I went to him seeking help after a horrific, traumatic experience with another Dr. and it was like going out of the frying pan into another. I left the consultation in utter repulse by his unprofessional, cold-hearted bedside manner and unbelievable attitude toward my extremely sensitive situation. First off, he started lecturing and belittling me about my weight and tried pushing some surgical weight loss procedure on me which I would NEVER have the slightest interest in! This "bariatric" doctor told me that I have a plethora of mental illnesses including bipolar disorder due to being emotional when speaking about previous weight related trauma. He then went on to tell me that I couldn't possibly know my own mind, even though I told him I'd gotten a similar service six years ago and never suffered from the things he assumed that I did. He then pushed the fact that my mentality would worsen after getting a revision on my surgery and stated the only way I can move forward would be to take medications for said illnesses. The ones that I don't even have? Yeah, those. He called my first surgery a "quick judgement" though a full two years of planning with consultations from various doctors had taken place. And I told him that. Then he said they can't take my insurance even though before I paid for my consultation, they said that they could. So I would have to pay $30,000 for a procedure that is covered by my insurance. I have Blue Cross... it's one of the best insurance packages they offer and it covered the procedure I was looking for. However, my favorite part of this entire encounter was when he said that failing at losing weight after surgery is worse than death. Come to find out, he is a cosmetic surgeon. If I could leave no stars I would, the one star is because Stephanie is the sweetest person I've met in a while and the place is clean so I'll give you that. Hardly. All in all, If you are black, plus sized or a human who shows a lick of emotion, you will be labeled as mentally ill, so do not expect to get taken seriously unless you are apart of the 1%. Dr Moein at Moein Surgical Arts is an incredible physician and plastic surgeon! His skills, care, and compassion are brilliant! It wasn't soon after my 40th birthday that mother Nature gifted me a pair of saggy boobs, infamous love handles, and some extra meat on my thighs. I exercise 3-4 times a week and try to eat healthy, but this fat came out of nowhere and it looked like it was here to stay. I visited Dr. Moein for a consultation and was very excited with his proposal. We discussed my health, medical history, and goals. After thoroughly studying my anatomy, Dr. Moein suggested taking out the fat from my stomach, back, and thighs using the Vaser liposuction and reallocating that fat into my 34 B breasts. They were still at good hight, but with fat grafting to the breast, they would be beautifully rounded and fuller looking. A fat reallocation program sounded very good to me ;-) We opted for the Vaser liposuction, hi-definition as this is a much more precise contouring of the body providing the much desired muscle definition I needed. I was warned that I didn't have too much fat, but with the Vaser assisted liposuction more challenging fat could be taken with higher contouring specifications especially for the abdomen and back. We decided that the back of the legs needed some fat removal, specifically helping with my butt definition and reducing my banana roll. The surgery took 6 hours and the recovery went well. I am now two weeks post surgery and I can confidently say that I am beyond thrilled with the results! My stomach is as flat as an iron board, my back shapely contoured, and my thighs are starting to thin out as the swelling is going down. My thighs look awesome! I can't believe how flat and defined my body looks already. The highlight of my surgery are my breasts;-) The Fat transplant to the breast worked beautifully and I now have gorgeous 34 C breasts. I love that I have larger natural looking breasts, but didn't have to get an implant! I am so Pleased with my results and highly recommend Dr. Moein for cosmetic surgery and high definition vaser liposuction. It's so worth it! He is such a trustworthy and understanding physician. Also, I would highly recommend a trained person to take care of you for at least 24-48 hours post surgery. I slightly underestimated the recovery and was happy to have very good help. Given the huge number of plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills, we had a pretty hard time deciding who to choose in the beginning. After a thorough search, we decided to go to Dr. Moein for some consult. The practice is located in a high-rise close to Century City Mall. The staff is super polite, courteous and nice and environment is pretty clean and nicely decorated. I was accompanying one of my relatives for this consult. Dr. Moein took his time and examined her thoroughly. He then suggested the procedures that could enhance her looks. She decided to go with the procedure that he had suggested. Dr. Moein then numbed her face and waited a while as he was going through some details regarding the procedure. What was really amazing to me was that he put a lot of time into doing it, the whole process took about two hours which is something that usually takes a lot less for so many other doctors or at least that is what I have read in other reviews. He made sure she likes the results as he moved on to the next step. When he was done, she was extremely happy with the results, even though the optimum result is to be seen within a week or so. The procedure was minimally painful and he was very gentle, skillful, knowledgeable and patient. He also made sure that she felt comfortable contacting him if she had any other concerns regarding the procedure. I'm not a fan of Doctors. Most of the time they have not clue on what they are doing and they fill that void of with a god complex. Dr. Moein was different. He saved my life. I was in the hospital and Dr. Moein was on call. Another doctor had me on antibiotics for 3 days and it didn't work. Dr. Moein talked to me about having surgery which I was opposed to. I was three sheets to the wind with the meds I was on, but all I remember looking into his kind eyes. I instantly knew I could trust him. He worked on me for 9 hours where my kidneys and lungs shut down at one point. He made sure I survived. He followed up with me for months after making sure I was ok. I have a colostomy bag from the surgery which will need to be reversed. I have the lowest of the low insurance/medical/Obama care. He treated me like a VIP. Never brushed me off like other doctors. He was kind, warm and most important, super competent! If you are trying to decide which DR to get your ears, boobs, etc. Just know this, Dr. Moein told me he would assist the other Dr doing my colostomy reversal and be there for me. Im just some loser that's poor and Dr. Moein never treated me as such. That's the kind of Dr you want in your corner even for minor surgery. I have been looking to get some work done on my midsection for a few years now, and I had two very strong referrals for Dr. Moein. My referrals were so strong that I actually flew down from my home in San Francisco to meet with him and discuss options. After receiving a consultation, we decided to move forward with a hi definition liposuction with Vaser device to define my waist and 6 pack abs. Dr. Moein did an excellent job with the operation, and I am very happy with the results. This was actually the first surgical procedure I have ever had done, and Dr. Moein was also very good with comforting me and keeping me calm the whole time. Dr. Moein is an amazing and talented plastic surgeon. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction done by him and I couldn't be happier with the results. As a mother of two in my forties I knew I was ready to get my body back. At my first consult I knew he was the surgeon I would choose to do my surgery. He is compassionate, caring and never once did he make me feel rushed. The surgery was seamless. Of course I was in a bit of pain the first week or two but Dr. Moein called and check in on me everyday and even made a house call the day after surgery. 58 y.o African American looking to refresh my face for the new year. After reading the reviews for MSA I thought I would give them a call. Office Manager Alexis is extremely customer focused and was able to get me in for a next day appointment! Unheard of at most plastic surgery offices. I was immediately impressed. When I arrived for my appointment on Dec. 27th Alexis was just as warm and friendly in person as she'd been on the phone. The offices is very welcoming and relaxing. I had a short wait before my consult with Dr. Moein. During my consultation, he listened to EVERYTHING I said about what I (thought) I wanted and where I wanted improvement. He never rushed me and answered every question I asked thoughtfully and thoroughly. The consultation is always the point where I make the decision to go with a particular surgeon or not. If I feel the surgeon is rushing me, feels irritated by the many questions I ask (and I ask a lot) and is patronizing while surreptitiously checking his watch because he has another patient waiting - then I know he/she would not give full attention to any procedure I might book with them. Fuggedaboutit! !Then there's Dr. Moein, so down to earth,compassionate and kind, he broke everything down in layman's terms so I would totally understand the cause and effect of various treatments. When I booked the consult, I was thinking I wanted juvederm for my marionette lines and botox for my neck to decrease the platysmal bands. What I did not consider is that while I was speaking Dr. Moein was observing my natural facial expressions and then give me his professional recommendation. He said I should fill the nasolabial folds, I didn't really think I needed that but when with it because he's the professional. Holy crap, the after effect was a-freaking-mazing! Then, I did forehead and eye area botox (usually just do the eye are) and the neck. Damn! He took about 10 years off my face. I can't stop looking at my lower lips look fuller. Ok.. Where do I start?! Dr. Babak is the most supportive Medical Doctor I have ever seen. He is always available and very responsible. There is no text message during the day or at night when I was in such pain, that he left unanswered. I have never ever heard about a doctor being available 24/7 to patients, personally! Because I am not an easy person when it comes to doctors, he was such an inspiring individual that I never had a second thought about him. Compared to others he was never concerned about financials but only about my health. He is an excellent human being and a extremely professional plastic surgeon. His team is just the best in terms of service and care. I felt like family during my surgery and every single consultation. In conclusion, He is the one and he's one life saving angel to me!
