The chicken was also unexpectedly excellent. The ribs and the pulled pork were good, but not quite to the level of the brisket and the chicken. All of the side were also really good. You can't go wrong with fried okra - I mean - its fried. The fries were the unexpected star of the side. Not sure what they coat the fries with before frying, but it worked really well. The portions are huge and we ended up taking a lot of it home to eat later. The woman working the window just laughed when we told her we were from Jacksonville and got a recommendation to come to Scott's by folks at a farmer's market. "I love that," she said. I loved it to. Because good BBQ, like the food I had when I was 10 and what my wife and I enjoyed this past weekend at Scott's will b memories that last for a long, long time.
