Stopped into this quaint little wing spot tucked in the heart of Brunswick for lunch. Many different wing sauces and sides to choose from. Not many people in there for 12 PM on a Thursday so the service was rather quick. Ordered the extra hot sweet and spicy wing along with some hot wings, a burger, bacon fries and onion rings. Wings were crispy! A lot better quality than your average wing joint. The onion rings came with this horseradish-esqe sauce which was different but in a good way. My only complaint is that they don't make their own blue cheese. Burger was solid for not being their main item. A local recommended to visit this wing spot while on a road trip headed south and it did not disappoint. It's situated about 10 mins off of 95 and there's other stores nearby (Target, Firehouse subs, and many others). This gem has all the wing flavors that you could be craving. Service was reasonably quick, staff was friendly and space was clean. We ordered 20 wings half lemon pepper and cajun ranch. I'd never heard of a cajun ranch sauce so I was very eager to try it. One of my favorite restaurants in Brunswick area. Their wings are big, tasty and have so many different flavor options. I have had their cheesesteak, and it is also good. My favorite thing there is the Ninja fries; french fries with any of the wing sauces on top. I usually get the cajun ranch. Highly recommend. Service is fast and friendly. read more

Good. Very good wings. Not inexpensive, though. Hot as I wanted them, no floppy jalopy skin, perfectly crunchy and cooked. No "jumbo wings" which is ideal. Heat was there and it was memorable. This place was highly rated and I really wanted to like it more. I had the wings and fries. The wings were ok, kind of on the small side though. They do have a wide assortment of wing flavors and cover their wings pretty good in the sauce. The fries, ohhhhh the fries, were some of the worst I have ever had. They were very greasy and you could taste the grease in every bite. It was as if they absorbed the grease they were cooked in. Not good. I don't mean in a bad way I mean this is your normal little hole in the wall joint where you get a damn good Philly cheese steak and some damn good wings for a damn good price. Yo my Philly was so good that I wish I could have gone back and gotten two more for the next day. The wing flavor selection is beyond amazing do yourself a favor and try to sweeten mustard sauce I think that's what it's called. I would definitely be going back when I'm down in Brunswick again and I will be bringing a few of those Philly cheesesteaks home that's for sure. Eat here and thank me later! When I first laid eyes on this place it was early in the am as I was headed to Target all I saw was "Wings & Phillys" I knew I had to have some. My family and I came back around the same day for dinner to give this place a try. The cashier was awesome we let her know it was our first time here she recommended the large philly for us to share and let me know she approved of the teriyaki sauced wings. Best decision ever, both items were so delicious but what surprised me the most were the wings! Very much so that I came back the next day for lunch before we hit the road back home. They were nice and crispy and very well sauced and coated. They even came with a side of ranch and celery. The drink machine inside allowed you to add a extra flavor to your drink like strawberry or lemon. They even had a kids menu which is always a bonus. The sitting was pretty spaced out (COVID-19) and every other bench was allowed. They were open for inside dinning but most people got the food to go. Skinny Pete's is located in the Altama Village Shopping center in Brunswick between Firehouse Subs and Five Guy's. Skinny Pete's has some of the best Buffalo Wing on the Georgia Coast. They can make them a variety of ways and they're all fantastic! We usually get the wing to go so you can enjoy them finger licking good! All you can eat wing night is each Tuesday! Anyway, the Philly Cheese Steak is the best I have had in Brunswick as well and I have tried Wee Pub's and other local cheese steak(s), although good, but Skinny's is better. Chicken Wings with a Side Order of Jesus Not a bad place. Went in looking for hot wings and cold beer. No beer. Baptists. After I ordered the wings, I noticed that every wall was covered from top to bottom with Jesus murals. I am not against Jesus, but hey, I'm here to eat, not pray. And I'm really not interested in your religious convictions. And you know what? People who feel they need to constantly expound on how religious they are, really don't have a very strong faith to begin with. As far as wing shacks go Skinny Pete's is about the average run of the mill place. Nothing about this place sticks out. The staff was about as personable as a brick wall and didn't seem to want to be there at all. Again as far as the wings go they were your average run of the mill wings. Another interesting Brunswick place. Wings and Philly Cheese steaks. A little pricey for sure. I got a combo with a Cheese Steak and spicy garlic wings. 5 wings, pretty small Cheese steak, about $16? Wings were pretty good quality, spicy yes, garlic? no. Still pretty good. Cheese steak was ok, a little strange, but ok. It also wasn't very big. Tasted more like a sandwich than an actual philly. The wings were pretty average. The fries tasty really funny, I'm not sure if it was the fries or the cheese sauce I got on them but I was worried to finish them. The CO2 tank was out on the soda machine so we had to buy a 2 liter to get soda. Hands down the best wings in Brunswick. Try the lemon pepper or the garlic parmesan if you are not a huge fan of the traditional hot wing. They are fried up and season to perfection. Not exactly sure if the person from McDonough went into the same place as I regularly eat from. The staff is always pleasant, maybe he had a bad day when he went in? And for the lack of sauce, would you like wings that sauce? I don't understand. I like sauce on my wings, not drowning in the sauce though, and they always get it right. Always a little extra in the bottom. I have been eating here for about 3 years and love it. It is not loud by any means, very family oriented. I mean they have painted Christian song lyrics on the walls. And have a jar by the register with random Bible versus folded inside. Oh by the way the philly is the as awesome as the wings if not better. My 2 favorite things about Skinny Pete's is that their sauce is made fresh on a daily basis, not manufactured like other big wing stores; secondly they always have the Braves on!
